The worst possible experience with an agent but I can't give zero stars. We viewed a property on the 16th of August with miss Ellie Humphrey, Chancellors agent. She doesn't seem to be bothered at all that she received a list of further questions to answer, as we were interested in that property. I personally contacted her 3 times for her to reply only to my second email(where I asked if she could at least let me know if she got it). She replied with a promise she'll get this information for us. After over a week without a reply I called the agency, only to be informed that the property is under offer and with yet another promise from another Chancellors employee that miss H. will contact me with the details I asked for. As far as I'm aware, accordingly to Estate Agents Act 1979, agents are obliged to give each potential buyer the same treatment - provide relevant information to clients declaring interest. My last attempt was yesterday morning, as I sent her one last email but this is ridiculous. And I know for a fact she's not on holiday or away from work, because the person who I spoke to on the phone said they will speak to miss H. I tried to be understanding and give her time but two weeks should be more than enough to contact the seller, especially that she did have time to do business with another potential buyer. From now on I will be avoiding Chancellors at all cost and I will share my experience if anyone ever asks me for my opinion.

Chris Dorsett from this office conducted a viewing of Graftonbury Court. Unfortunately, the property was not for us at this time but the flat was exemplary. Only the location deterred us from making an offer. Chris was very professional, knowledgeable and an overall personable young man. No over nor underselling, no exaggeration, no guesswork. ZERO STARS!! Hereford Chancellors just awful. They don’t return your calls They don’t return your emails. They don’t send your viewing feedback. Very poor customer communication experience. We were left feeling that they were biased towards the buyers and not us the vendors. We had very little communication from them. They only communicate when they want to. Caused almost complete communication breakdown between us and our buyers. Our respective solicitors saved the situation by instigating direct contact between us and buyers via WhatsApp. 16 weeks to get to Exchange. They almost derailed Exchange by interfering at a crucial point when asked by solicitors not to. But Chancellors still want their Commission. We have tried a formal complaint against Chancellors Hereford and have just had our feedback from them. I now feel extremely personally upset by the response from their Directors. Horrible customer experience. Horrible company to deal with. Do Not use Chancellors Estate Agents if you value your sanity.

Put offer in on property in October 24 in Hereford....it took until Feb 25 to get keys! No communication.Had to chase them for everything. The girl that showed us the property went underground after the offer was accepted. No return calls. Lack of enthusiasm by members of staff. No sold sign was ever put up & for sale board is still there! Have asked 6 TIMES for sale board to be removed and we're now in June. Went into office & they all just stared at me. Would not sell or buy a property with them & definitely would not recommend them.

My family and I were looking for a property to accommodate quite a few needs...limited mobility, pets, large family. Not an easy fit at all. Lyndsey was amazing! Thanks to Chris for showing us round a property recently! We brought our 5yr old with us who was quite challenging as children want to know everything and love anything new to them so viewing a property with people already living there which obviously contains all their possessions was a playground! Chris at Chancellors Hereford drew no attention to this and was professional throughout the visit, he presented the property in a great light and the owners should be proud that he is leading on this one! Timothy Whorwood, Prime Sales Manager acted for us in both the purchase and the sale process. We found him attentive, supportive and complimentary, with excellent attention to detail and always ready to offer sound, expert advice. He developed a respectful but personal relationship with us and as with one’s lawyer, we felt that Tim was working to further our best interest. During our sale, he came back to us promptly with the comments of viewers and was willing to discuss the ‘between-the-lines’ detail (and to warn us of any concerns that he might have). From the moment of making initial enquires with Chancellors, their customer service has been exceptional! I have been predominately dealing with Chris Dorsett in the sales department and he has been polite, welcoming, and above all, informative which is what is required when looking to purchase property. Chris made sure I was kept upto date with any new listings, sold and currently available, which helped me plan ahead. Also a mention to Lynsey in lettings who has also kept me upto date with any potential listings. Her phone manner is always polite and gives good customer service. I am still hoping to find the perfect property but Chancellors have made viewing property a pleasant and very exciting experience so far.
