Very bad experience!! As agent wasted my 6 days by saying i will confirm you offer after discussing with landlord. In the end rejected by saying lanlord dont wants to give flat to a fsmily having kids. As there is no written statement mentioned on advertisement. Non professional behaviour!

We had pretty poor service from the lettings side of brown and merry Hemel Hempstead. They messed us about quite a lot when we were trying to rent our flat and then again when we were leaving, they are a nightmare to get hold of if there's a problem.

Excellent Service from Hemel Hempstead

I don't usually write a review but I thought that my experience with the Hemel Hempstead branch deserved one. I was dealing with Tom Fitzgerald who shown such professionalism throughout. He made the whole process of buying a house so easy for us, calling both parties and giving us updates all the time was incredible, very humble, good attitude towards people, brilliant personality ,knows his job very well, in all, we were able to exchange and complete very early than the usual 3 - 4 months even during the lock down because of his hard work, very well done Tom and thank you very much for helping us to buy our house which we are so much in love with, please don't let this end here, keep it up.

Do not bother booking lettings…

Do not bother booking lettings insurance with them. It is a total nightmare to cancel and they will send you on a wild goose chase to do so. I called insurance directly, they said speak to lettings, they eventually got back to me and gave me an email to cancel with. They responded saying speak to insurance company. Seriously? Full circle. Do yourself a favour and book it yourself.

We have just moved into our new property which we bought through B&M, Hemel. We also sold our property with them. The whole experience was a positive one. They were extremely proactive with getting viewings for our flat, and were always prompt at returning calls in relation to the property we were buying. Kevin, did an outstanding job in terms of overcoming issues along the way and offering options to keep the process moving. Sequence rental - AVOID!

Sequence rental are possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. Overpriced, inept, and seem to totally forget that as a landlord it is me that pays for their service. Tenants did not report a leak that caused my wooden worktops to rot, to replace them will cost nearly £800 but am being told this is fair wear and tear and I can not claim for them to be replaced! Poor service from start to finish.

Absolutely useless got a 12 week contract after 4 weeks no viewing what so ever the 4 time wasters i got never got any feed back from brown n merry Aylesbury i had to keep calling them when i called to ask why i wasn't getting viewings i was told it was brexit it was the school holidays it was the price even though it was 20 thousand pounds less than when i brought it in 2017 Do they want to sell houses or not the communication or lack of it is not acceptable would defiantly NOT RECOMMEND THEM

I used this estate agency’s service 4.5 years ago on Sep 2014. We are still living in the same property and we are quite happy. List bait properties that are no longer available and continually fail to return calls over a number of weeks, despite multiple commitments 'to come right back' when followed up. Different excuses provided each time. Serious question marks re: the ethics of this place, and that's before we get on to their complete lack of basic professionalism. As a buyer I would not consider buying anywhere listed by this lot, even if I really liked the place... plenty of other professional outfits that do manage basic things like returning calls etc out there. Potential buyers and sellers beware. AVOID.

I had a property maintenance contract with them. But they have mostly not bothered to. Return my calls.Even for quarterly inspection they never gave reports on time. Had to be chased for the report. Recently there was a leakage and the tenant did inform them but they again did not bother to tell us and now the tenant has come back to us and we are contacting 3rd party for repair. So beware with full maintenance contract with them as they are not at all responsive even after paying a monthly contract fees. It's a shame and very disappointed.

Booked a second viewing last minute at a property we have agreed to purchase in Aylesbury. William, who accompanied us for the first viewing and has been good with communicating, came at half 5 (after he had finished) for an agreed 15 min slot. However he stayed for 45 mins with us and it was extremely helpful and beneficial.
