GoogleStaff were very pleasant but overall very disappointing service. I inquired about viewing a property in Boldon and a viewing was promptly arranged. I turned up at the property at the agreed time to find the vendor not at home. After looking back at the confirmation text message I noticed that the house number was different. After looking at the other house it was not immediately clear that this property was also for sale with Chase Holmes as the vendor did not have a for sale sign being displayed. Therefore I assumed the house number in the text message was wrong and left. I then received an email from Chase Holmes asking why I did not turn up to the viewing. After explaining the situation and doing some further investigation it was apparent that I had been booked in to view the wrong property. When I initially inquired about the property I wanted to see I was not advised that they had two properties on the same street for sale and was not asked to clarify which one I wanted to see. The incorrect property was completely off my radar as it was well out of my price range and therefore never appeared in my search. I have since bought a property through another estate agent. Chase Holmes have essentially managed to potentially lose a sale for one client and completely wasted the other client's time as well as mine. To be fair to the person I was dealing with I did receive an apology. However, I believe the whole situation could have been avoided had my inquiry been dealt with more professionally, based on my experience I would not recommend this estate agent.

FacebookI'm not surprised at all to see the gratitude left for Heather - I to am in that camp!! I honestly pity anyone that has to buy a house without her; she kept me sane and hopeful when it looked very, very bleak - she worked tirelessly with extremely creative solutions but she did it and we're here and very happy - we can't thank you enough Heather, if we're ever crazy enough to move again, you'll be the first I'll call!! (although if I was you....I wouldn't pick up �) xxx

FacebookI have used Chase Holmes for a 'tenant find' service, and more recently for the sale of a property. Both times the service was excellent - tenant found quickly, and sale achieved quickly after several viewings. Highly recommend them and would definitely use again. Every single staff member I spoke to in various phone calls was on the ball - superb local knowledge, positive attitude, attention to detail, and so pleasant.

The fact that I did not purchase the property I wanted was not the estate agents fault but the vendors. They should not have put it up for sale until all family legal matters were dealt with. I could not fault the service given by Heather.
