We are currently selling our business through chancellors commercial,we had no real leads or decent viewings for quite a time until a lady phoned one day and introduced her self as Rachel and told me she was going to be taking over the sale for me, we had a good chat that day,and from that day we have had lots of actually interested people round to view the business, and Rachel has been very on the ball communication wise for viewings etc and I'm pleased to say we are now under offer and hoping to complete in the next few weeks.We Would defiantly recommend chancellors commercial and especially Rachel to take care of your business sale.

Ive bought through Chancellors before, but buying an unusual construction, which is an HMO, into a company structure is about as difficult as it comes. Angela Lessani was fantastic. She kept the whole process moving quickly and found me a mortgage broker who could do it, a builder who was excellent, and kept both myself and the vendor informed and happy throughout - even when the HMO license ran out partway through the sale process and solicitors were less than efficient, Angela kept it going!

After suffering the loss of a parent, I had the difficult task, of selling the family home of more than 50 years. As you can imagine, an emotional time. After having a number of estate agents view the property, I met Angela from Chancellors and on first impressions felt, that she was the right person to handle the sale. After a conversation with my sisters, we outlined a number of restrictions, that made Angela's job very difficult. All the way through the sale, including a couple of last minute collapses, right through finding the perfect buyers, who ticked all our requests. It wasn't easy, but we were very well supported throughout. Once again thank you Angela and the team.

We have recently sold and purchased a house through Chancellors. Our main contact from the start was Charlie. We first enquired about a house that we was looking to buy. I had a call from Charlie and a viewing was booked for a few days later. Charlie was brilliant at communicating with us and met us with a smile a few days later at our potential new home. Upon arriving Charlie was very informative about the house we were viewing and was very friendly and chatty but professional. He showed us around and gave us as much info as he could regarding the property. We went back and viewed again a week later and put in an offer which to our delight was excepted. Charlie, also helped greatly with the sale of our home, so much so it was sold within 48 hrs of being on the market!! He has been at the end of the phone or email when we have needed him and responded in a very timely manner, extremely helpful and nothing has ever been to much trouble. Horrible experience interacting with this agency. They were extremely rude on the phone, but confirmed that they would accept students. After difficulties booking a viewing, I traveled from another city by train to attend the viewing when they called and told me they didn't accept students afterall unless I could pay 12 months in advance. So I turned around and got back on the train to head home after wasting time and money to get there. So angry at the incompetence and unprofessionalism.

Our agent was Faisal and from the get go he was more than helpful to us. He is extremely polite, down to earth and supportive. I believe Faisal is fairly new to the business, however, he is very knowledgable and was extremely helpful in finding us our first flat. Even out of office hours Faisal communicated fully with us and supported us through each and every process. As well as being professional Faisal was not at all intimidating; as we found other places could be. We are a very young couple so most places appeared judgemental towards us but Faisal had no preconceptions whatsoever. He was very genuine towards us - and would always give us a message before ringing us if he wanted to speak to us. We felt this was very respectful (we found some places have a reputation of bombarding us with calls and trying to show us places out of budget - this was never the case with Faisal and the team. We tried many other estate agents and they just didn’t quite find us anything that met our needs - Faisal on the other hand went out of his way to find us suitable properties which were exactly what we were looking for. Even when Faisal wasn’t in the office, all of his colleagues we’re helpful and friendly to us. Most of the time you can walk through the door and someone is available and willing to help you. We are still in contact with Faisal regularly with questions and just general chat too. We highly recommend Chancellors - especially the Headington branch. All the best of luck to Faisal in his career - we really appreciate everything he’s done for us :)

We just moved out of a property managed by chancellors, the agency and most of the staff working there are extremely incapable, downright unhelpful, with the exception of Isabelle Smyth - Senior Property Manager, so this 5 star goes to her and her only. She remained kind, polite and professional at all situations, was super helpful and where all others failed went out of her way to assist us with our queries. She deserves the recognition, if it wasn't for her we would have had a much worse experience than we did. Thanks Isabelle!

I recently used chancellors estate agents to move to one of there rented property’s. My dealing was with Declan Hartigan ,Who was very informed very helpful and welcoming. I am basing the 5 star rating on Ciara Flaherty's services. She was excellent from start to finish, helping us find a house, supporting us throughout the process, and making sure that the purchase was completed properly. This was a complicated transaction because of some extenuating circumstances related to the house, but Ciara went above and beyond to make sure that the sale took place in the best possible way. A note to other potential buyers working with Chancellors', DO NOT use their "in-house" mortgage and solicitors services! I switched my mortgage advisor mid-way through the process, but made the mistake of staying with their Conveyancing team/Solicitors, and I regret it immensely. They were extremely slow or outright unresponsive to emails, which led to significant unnecessary delays. Once again, Ciara stepped up to liaise with the solicitors to get things done, but it was a cumbersome process, as I would have expected the solicitors to both communicate well and to speed up the process. As such, while I recommend Chancellors for properties, I would strongly advise against using their support teams.

Me, my husband and our daughter just moved yesterday to our new flat. I can't belive all process was so quick and not as complicated as I first thought. What a pleasant experience! I went into the Henley branch and spoke to Jon, a very helpful employee for your Henley area. I needed some assistance in my property search and I was very impressed with your employees knowledge of the area, not only places/areas within my budget but also how close the houses were to everything else I would need to be around or near my new home, schools, shops etc! I'm in a bit of a rush as I am moving to the area for a job and knew nothing about Henley and surrounding suburbs. Whilst I was in the branch I was comfortable the whole time and did not feel pressured at all, which is refreshing for an estate agents! I left feeling like I had real direction on what was now within my means and will be back to arrange viewings next time I am in the area! A great experience overall!

Chancellors helped me to buy an investment property in November. During the refurbishment of the flat Declan organised an Open House viewing so that when the work was complete we could have a tenancy agreement in place straight away. This generated a lot of interest and several potential tenants attended. This resulted in us having 3 viable offers from which to choose, one for more than the asking price/rent. Our new tenants moved in a few days later on completion of checks etc. Communication was excellent throughout and Declan made sure that we were kept in the loop at all times. We could not have turned it round any quicker if we tried. Well done Declan and all the team at Chancellors for an excellent job!

This is the second year letting my property through Chancellors Headington Branch. I am impressed with the services provided by different teams. First of all, I would like to say Thank You to Jonathan Pincott, Catherine Green, Jessica Potter, Paul Robinson, Richard Ward and Semi. Jonathan Pincott from the Letting team has been very efficient in advertising the property. Jonathan is approachable and willing to answer any questions even if he is on holiday. I appreciate the fact that he also has a flexible working style. He will not in force processes to be followed if they are not applicable. Having said that, he also makes sure that everything is in the right order. Catherine Green from Contract team is a reliable person. Catherine helped me to update some details on the contract in short notice. She made the amendments very quickly and ensured the contracts were exchanged smoothly. She is willing to give up her personal time to ensure all the relevant work is completed. I still cannot believe receiving a call at 8:30pm on a Friday night from Catherine who was telling me that everything is going well and documents will be with you first thing in the morning on Monday. She is a great employee to have. Jessica Potter from Oxfordshire Management team has impressed me hugely. She is the third person from this team following up my property. She is definitely the best one by far. I am a very detail person and love tracking everything using spreadsheets (I know, it is a little sad). I always send Jessica a list of questions which she is always able to follow up on and provide an update as soon as she can. Whenever work is required to be done at the property, Jessica can provide a few quotations in short notice and explain to me what are the differences. She is very patient and organised. She is a great asset to any employer. Paul Robinson from Expert Services team did a very good job ensuring all work are compliant to any health and safety rules. Paul is good at keeping me up to date if there is any changes. One point to note here: I always accept the quotation from one engineer, Richard Ward. This is because Richard Ward and his partner Semi are extremely efficient in providing quotation. They are always contactable and willing to answer any relevant questions. One of their strengths (out of many) is that they are very good at prioritising work to be carried out. Another strength (again, out of many) is that the quality of work is at a very high standard. Richard Ward plays quite a big part of my decision making of using Chancellors again for the second year.
