Chancellors headington estates-the most honest real estate agency you will deal with. We were dealt by Wasim Afsar and we would 100% recommend Wasim and the services that he provides and now we've had such an easy ride of buying we will certainly be back to use his services again some day. He made us feel totally at ease and gave us regular updates throughout the whole process which really took the pressure off of such a stressful process. My experience with Chancellors was not a good one. I was given one person only who was dealing with me, in my case Joe Brayne; and, when he was not available, I was given someone who had no idea where anything in the property was! Joe himself knew little about the house, such as when it was built, council tax band and so on.... Throughout the whole process, I got the feeling that I was more of a burden than a valued customer worthy of attention; and that the resulting pay cheque at the end of it all was his only goal. There were several situations that also gave rise to me suspecting that things were not being related to me accurately, or being related to the vendor accurately from me; i.e. I ended up not really trusting what I was being told. I don't know how much point there is to me writing this, as Chancellors only seem to have posted the positive comments they have received. However, my experience with them reflected perfectly the poor reputation that estate agents hold with many. Just binning the "Congratulations on your completion....' letter, as if to round off what I have been saying, I notice that my name is spelt wrong......this, after months of involvement with this company.

My family and I were new to the country and only had a 2 week let. We had some very specific property requirements and after the first week were quite frustrated and concerned we would not be able to find any suitable property. Fortunately, we came in touch with Callum Lovett at the Headington Office of Chancellors. Callum assured us that he could help us find a property. He was extremely energetic and committed to helping us. He listened and was very respectful of our situation and did not try to hard sell us. Most importantly he was professional and patient. The only time I questioned his judgment was when he agreed to show us a property, postponing a commitment to his girlfriend. We worked with many agents while trying to find a property and Callum was by far the best agent we dealt with. If you need help in lettings call Chancellors in Headington and ask for Callum. You will not regret it.

I am moving from the US to the UK for a new postdoc position to do cancer research, and Chancellors Headington really helped me find the perfect place. I'd gone to RightMove at first and queried real estate companies about different properties, but they rarely emailed me back. I struggled for 3 weeks trying futilely to get place until I talked to agents at the Chancellors Headington branch. I worked with Carl Jeffries, who was able to recommend the perfect place for me. It only took a few days before the landlord accepted my offer. I got an awesome place for a great price, lots of space, and ideal location!

I have sold six flats through Chancellors in Headington and can highly recommend the whole team. Jonathan Seabert the sales manager is very professional and was spot on with his valuations from the outset. I then dealt with Joe Brayne, Patrick Tustian and James Godfrey on the sales team who managed my sales, and they were all excellent. They were patient, professional and responsive throughout the whole process, keeping myself and the buyers constantly updated and informed. Highly recommended. I am updating this review six months on as I have subsequently used Chancellors again for two further sales. I was satisfied with the service again. This time I dealt with Angela Lessani who was excellent and went beyond the call of duty on numerous occasions to ensure that the sale progressed smoothly.

Relocating is never fun. But Declan, et al, at Chancellors made the process about as painless as they could do. In particular, they went out of their way to accommodate our difficult (multi-country) relocating plans. There were some hiccups along the way, which is to be expected. But the staff at Chancellors were highly responsive and always sorted things out as quickly as they could. I don't look forward to the next relocation; but I would certainly use them again in the future. Thank you!

I didn't have a very good experience with letting agencies before. But I'm pleased to say that the service provided to me by Declan Hartigan has been outstanding. If you need to rent a house or flat within the Headington area and you need support, Declan is your man. Go to Chancellors Headington and ask for him. I have been worried for long time, thinking about to get the perfect house for me and my girlfriend, but from the first time I met Declan, everything was much easier. He is a very good profesional, with a good knowledge of the market, very helpful and an easy going person, which I think is key when you are dealing with customers. He was very kind at all times, showing me houses around the area and giving me a very good and honest advise, matching my requirements. I took his advise into account and now we are very happy. Thanks to Chancellors and especially Declan for our new home.

I went to Chancellors in Headington in some trouble. We had already exchanged on our purchase and were getting desperate to sell. Jonathan Seabert and his team - Zamir Wheeler in particular - worked tirelessly to achieve the sale. I have to say they provided excellent service. Jonathan's team worked hard to bring potential buyers to view the property and when an offer was made, Zamir continued to work extremely hard to further the sale - even after he left the firm. Zamir kept us fully updated until exchange - after which Jonathan and Shannon were in constant contact with the other agents and solicitors in the chain to progress and sort out any outstanding issues. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their home in Headington.

We have just purchased a buy-to-let property and arranged tenants via Chancellors. The lettings team have been really helpful and efficient. Being new to this, we had lots of questions and Jonathan Pincott was really patient and helpful in answering these and offering his advice and guidance. Richard Chaudry found tenants and arranged everything really quickly and efficiently, so that within a few weeks of completing our purchase and getting the flat redecorated, our tenants moved in last weekend. After registering with Chancellors as home buyers, we’ve been contacted by Leo Furnivall who was very friendly, professional and assertive. In spite of working office hours we had the opportunity to visit few properties with him, as Leo is a well-organised individual and a very good communicator. We needed to rent in the early part of 2012 and Chancellors were the best agent for our needs (3 teenegers!). They were very patient and helpful throughout all of our viewings. Our contact was Ben Newman who helped with all negotiations and contract adjustments. We are in the process of buying our first house and dealt with a few estate agents on the beginning before we decided to only go with Chancellors in Headington, the sole reason being Angela Lessani's great passion, knowledge and service. As an experienced estate agent, Angela could see that we were not quite sure what we were looking for as first time buyers, so she drove us around and showed us several properties (different style, location, budget and condition). This experience was invaluable - we felt like on one of those "find a dream home" TV shows. Angela advised us on pros and cons and helped us find our dream home! She goes far beyond her duties, listens to any concerns you might have, understands that house buying is probably one of the biggest decisions, always returns calls, keeps us updated and is even available on weekends. My friend and I were very pleased with the service that we received from Chancellors, we were looking for a 2 bed place, which Joel went the extra mile to help us find. He updated us with properties as soon as they came in, presented excellent communication, so that we were part of the first group of people viewing the properties. Even with challenging customers, he was able to answer all of our questions, and we found that we left the property knowing our decision and that Joel had our best interests at heart. We were are pleased to say that we are now settled in the perfect property that Joel found for us, even though he had some picky clients, I think you have to be, if you plan to stay long term in one place. Honestly we can’t thank Joel enough! We are very happy in our new place.
