Poor communication. Slow at getting things done. Don’t come back to you. Bad photography and then when we tried to exit our contract under the cooling off period they told us this was not relevant as we signed online and not in person!!! Would never recommend anybody to think about using them. Very unprofessional company. Very bad experience. Utterly disgusted with the company as a whole. So we had no viewings the whole time it was marketed. and now they are trying to sting us for £400!!! This has left a really bitter taste in my mouth. I know a lot of people in the area looking to sell and will definitely not be recommending you to anyone. They also left a full blown photograph of our 4 year old daughter online on the details and wondered why we asked for the property details to be removed from the website !!!

we had a smooth rental process and stay with this agency but the problems started the day we moved out, they held on to the deposit for nearly 4 months with ridiculously slow response time and they made a very large claim against our deposit in accordance with whatever the landlord decided to do (well, the landlord is their real costumer after all, not the tenant) and regardless of us meeting all the requirements bound by the contact, we fought back for a while but eventually gave up as it wasn't worth our time.

We'll probably write another review at the end of the sales process, but as these things tend to be prolonged, we thought it might be worth just saying at this mid-way point how very pleased we have been with the service we have been receiving from Chancellors who are handling our house sale. Even during their office refurbishment when everyone was crammed into a couple of tiny rooms upstairs, the service didn't falter. Jonathan Seabert has a great team. We have dealt particularly with him, Mary-Louise Aitken and James Godfrey. Jonathan took a lot of time initially to explain the process and organise a valuation, instilling a great deal of confidence in Chancellors' ability to successfully market our property. Mary-Louise did a sterling job of creating a stunning-looking brochure and has been incredibly friendly, helpful and approachable throughout. James secured a buyer for us very quickly and negotiated an excellent price. The whole sales team who organised the viewings were very professional. The follow up service liaising between buyer and vendor solicitors keeping us informed of the progress of the sale is also excellent. All in all a five-star service. Thank you.

She was very thorough, enthusiastic and went out of her way to find out and show attractive local ammenities to encourage our sale, even to the extent of finding out if there were fields nearby to rent, for someone who wanted to stable a horse and our house did nt have the extra land. Currently in the process of moving to a new rented property and have to say Antony from the headington branch has been so helpful and friendly he took the time to listen to all our requirements and contacted us straight away with new houses that were available. He made the whole process a delight and was a refreshing change from dealing with some of the other estate agents in the area who seemed to spend little time in actually listening to what we wanted. I thoroughly recomend if your looking for a rental property to contact Antony as he has been very honest and helpful thoughout what could have been a highly stressful time.

We've recently sold our house through James Godfrey at Chancellors Headington and the service we received throughout the process was fantastic. From the initial valuation to the point of sale James and his colleagues acted with a level of professionalism, friendliness and care that I didn't believe was possible from Estate Agents!! We received follow up calls after all viewings and were kept regularly informed with progress updates at all stages of the sale. I don't believe the sale would've gone through as quickly and easily as it did without this level of service. I would wholeheartedly recommend Chancellors Headington and would 100% use them again - although I hope not to have to at any time soon!!

From the moment I noticed a house in the window and popped in to the office to get some details ("... but I'm not really looking to buy a house") Patrick Tustian demonstrated model salesmanship - not too pushy, ready to oblige, eager to accompany to the property, helpful when there was a moment of doubt, ... and provided a dependable bridge to the vendor. So nine weeks later, I collected the keys from Patrick having bought the house ("which we weren't really looking for!") We are in the process of buying a property and dealt with many estate agents while looking for the “perfect” house, Angela Lessani at Chancellors has been an excellent and enthusiastic sales agent, passionate, full of energy and tireless when came to find the right place for us. She is one of a kind and you’ll be lucky to have her on your side as she goes beyond her duties, she’ll sort out problems when they arise (and they inevitably will), she’ll be available at any time (weekends included) if you have any enquiry. Angela isn’t there to sell houses but sell homes and she’s good at it.

When you arrive from a foreign country with no landmarks, struggling with deadlines to find an accommodation, being accompanied by a professional who really supports you during the whole process in your apartment research is very helpful. I was pleased to find this with Chancellors which was a valuable partner for me. I appreciate the service provided by Declan, who helped me a lot. He was a good listener and he took enough time to answer all my questions even after the deal was settled. He was always quick and efficient to find appropriate solutions to my needs. We had a good experience of Chancellors who sold our property very efficiently. Jonathan in the Headington branch gave us sound advice about pricing and the local market and Patrick helped us keep up the momentum throughout the process. Other staff in the office were very helpful too and there was always someone available when we needed them. This was in sharp contrast with another local agent we dealt with, where the office appeared understaffed and unable to keep up with the demands of the job.

I have just let a flat through Chancellors Headington office. During the time between looking for options and finally signing the tenancy agreement, I spoke to their representatives many times, both in person, by email and over the phone. I have always been treated with attention and politeness. The letting process takes a while, especially to foreign nationals that are not familiar with UK laws and procedures. We received the needed information to finish and submit the paper work and documents. Conor Taylor assisted diligently in finding a place I liked. Jamie Marla helped us go through the bureaucracy and answered our many calls with interest and attention. At the very end of the process, there was a last minute difficulty on a Saturday afternoon and Jonathan Pincott stepped in and helped finding a solution to it. I always pay attention to good client service and I think this kind of attention defines what good client service is: to show empathy for a client and do more than what is expected. At the end, I found a good flat on the budget I was looking for and was able to move reasonably quickly.

This is my first time in the UK. Searching for houses would not have been easy if it was not for the Chancellors. I had a lot of support from Katherine, who actually escorted me to one of the houses for a viewing. I really appreciated this helping gesture of her's. Finding houses simultaneously as you work is a difficult task, but chancellors adjusted their viewing timings to make sure they would suite me and in doing so, they had to work out of their stipulated work hours. I am thankful to Chancellors and adore their hard working employees like Katherine. All the best.

Proactive, honest and personable, Will Powell provided exactly the service I was looking for in purchasing a house. He seemed to grasp my position very quickly at every stage of the process and this resulted in as smooth a process as could be expected. My queries were mostly answered very promptly and he, along with the Chancellors Headington Office, were very flexible with timings to view or access the various properties which piqued my interest.
