Absolute shambles. I wish I could take the stars away. They do nothing apart from robbing people without giving the service. Started with Daniel from the Sunbury office who promised us of great customer service and communication. Daniel along with his team at sunbury hardly communicated and their specialist team had no clue when they spoke to me over the phone. A sale that would normally take couple of months took over five months to complete. When I layed the frustation out to the senior directors they first asked me to pay their fees. Once I paid the fees they just told me to that there is nothing they can do. Plz plz plz do not deal with this company. You will regret your decision for ever

We have had the pleasure of dealing with Jayne Morris originally from the Kington branch, who helped us almost 2 years ago with our rental search. She had ideas and inspirations for us, before we even moved in. Nothing was a problem and she would always plan to see us, for viewings, when convenient with myself and my partner. I was delighted with the excellent service I received from Declan Hartigan at Chancellors. I called one morning on the off chance there were any vacant properties to view that afternoon and he arranged a viewing within a couple hours. I loved the property and was able to make an application in minutes. The entire process has been smooth as Declan has kept me well-informed and immediately answered any queries I've had. Also, the entire process was completed within a week! The help and efficiency I have received from Chancellors has taken the stress away from moving house!

I rent a flat via Chancellors and I have not seen people more UNPROFESSIONAL in my whole life. They only care about taking your money at the beginning of the process and making up ridiculous excuses to keep the money of your deposit at the end. NEVER AGAIN!

When you arrive from a foreign country with no landmarks, struggling with deadlines to find an accommodation, being accompanied by a professional who really supports you during the whole process in your apartment research is very helpful. I was pleased to find this with Chancellors which was a valuable partner for me. I appreciate the service provided by Declan, who helped me a lot. He was a good listener and he took enough time to answer all my questions even after the deal was settled. He was always quick and efficient to find appropriate solutions to my needs. absolutely appalling service. i cancelled the contract with them within the 14 days period due to a change in circumstances. they never even visited the property to take photos and it was never placed on rightmove. what followed was 4 months of debt letters, demanding paying costs. now been sent a county court letter. completely ignored when i challenged the costs, taken off in under 7 days. disgusting level of service. NEVER use this agent.

I would like to say a great BIG “Thank you” to Joe Brayne for all your help and co-operation during the sale of our property in Headington. You have been absolutely brilliant. You have always done what you said you would do unlike so many other estate agents who just pay “lip-service”. Your keen interest in our particular sale was reinforced when you found a new buyer at very short notice even to the extent of doing a viewing on a Sunday which progressed to an offer and a very quick exchange and completion. Joe you have been brilliant and I would truly recommend Chancellors to anyone as a “genuine” estate agency and very helpful. Your communication skills are second to none which most estate agents don’t even process. I wish you well for your future and would recommend that Chancellors reward you well for your time and effort spent on our sale.

I started out working with Chancellors with some trepidation, as I had heard some rather negative things about them. So all in all, Chancellors had some work to do to convince me otherwise and I am delighted to say, that mainly due to Joe Brayne, we are very much converted. Unlike some estate agents, Joe did everything he could to ensure that we were able to see the property as many times as we liked (he even came out on a Sunday for us!) and really earnt his money when it came to Exchange time- really rallying all the parties. I would give Joe 5 or 6 stars, however the only slightly negative point about Chancellors in Headington and Cowley, is that in our experience sometimes not all of the staff are as helpful and great as Joe and Rose- but maybe we just caught them on a bad day. Thanks for all your help Joe and we cannot wait to complete on our first house on Friday!

The only company that really took on board what we wanted and were proactive in dealing with our property search was Chancellors - due in no small part to our agent William Powell. His professional manner, diligent attitude and personable character meant we were kept up to date as new properties came up for sale in the local area. Once we found our property, we were informed of what would take place at all stages of the purchase, and were supported throughout when all queries or concerns were dealt with promptly. Buying a house? Go to Chancellors and ask for Will Powell.
