Cancel appointments without any notifications

Have spent 4 hours driving to an appointment which was cancelled without any letter, have figured it out only after arriving. Make sure to call them and ask whether they haven’t accidentally forgotten to send a cancellation letter.

Please if you value your sanity Do not go to these guys for property! Mould and damp can endanger your life These heartless swine inflict infinite strife! I nearly died at the hands of these locusts Their customer service is simply atrocious. I now have irreversible brain disease The worst company in all of Leeds

We were supposed to view 3 properties with Oasis today, I had arranged them about 2 days ago. When we arrived we were told that two of the properties we were meant to be viewing weren't available anymore. Out of courtesy I expect to be told this before the viewings, as those 2 were the only ones we were really there for. While we were waiting they were calling up their tenants and very rudely demanding money. It was a terrible first impression and we just wanted to get out of there. Seems that they have forgotten who the customer is. Reminded me of how estate agents used to treat me when I was a student (terribly) and I imagine they still thought we were. Would never give them any business.

Signed for a property on the basis it was being refurbished for our arrival. This never happened. Mould in the basement room resulted in a chronic chest infection not to mention issues with rats from an industrial bin and the property having no front door. Issues often took many months to resolve. As a student i recommend you avoid. Shop around early and view as many as possible to avoid tough learning experiences.

Signed a 6 bed property with oasis that we were all really happy with, the woman who showed us round was a 'mate' of the person who was letting the property, after paying a deposit and signing fee (equating to £350) and signing a contract with oasis we heard nothing from them. We rang oasis and told them of our concern that they'd asked us for no further information, to which they replied " we've done it all on our part", and gave us the number for Leeds Rentals who were apparently the ones responsible for our property (as far as we were aware we signed for a property with oasis, in their offices , and paid our deposit to them) - after calling this number and following it all up (by our own accord) it turns out our house had been taken off the market (no one had told us) so we no longer had a house at the end of March after signing for and paying a deposit etc. for a property in January , after going into Oasis we told them what happened, the woman we explained the situation to was rude and unprofessional, but to be fair, the man that spoke to us did seem genuinely apologetic which we appreciated. We understand this is not Oasis' fault entirely , but there has been a massive lack of communication- if we'd been given contact details for Leeds Rentals or they had been more clear about the fact the property belonged to Leeds Rentals we could have followed this up sooner instead of asking friends that signed with Oasis if they've had any emails from them yet , waiting so long and having to look up the location of Leeds Rentals as we'd never been there before due to the fact we signed with Oasis on their premises! . We put the job of finding us a house in the hands of oasis and we feel they merely passed us on to someone else and left us in a bad situation thus we would be incredibly reluctant to use them again. Thank you.

By far the worst student landlords for properties in Headingly, both in personal experience and from that of friends. It takes multiple requests to get anything repaired/maintained and the extent to which things are repaired is shocking and quite frankly a health risk (we had black mould in one bedroom, the repair Oasis issued was to screw a board over the mould); the front desk staff are patronising and their bookkeeping is either sub-par or something shady is going on as they tried telling us we had paid £100 less than we had for our deposit; we had bailiffs round at the house because the money we were paying Oasis for our 'all inclusive bills' was not actually being paid to the utility suppliers; the list goes on. I could not recommended avoiding a landlord more.

Terrible estate agents, very unprofessional and they don't care about their clients. They have turned up at the house for a viewing at 10am on a Saturday without giving any notice at all, not only that she tried to enter my bedroom without even knocking and had I not put my own lock on the inside of the door she would have been greeted by me and my girlfriend sprawled naked across the bed. When they actually do decide to give us notice by texting us to inform that they have a viewing planned at the crack of dawn on a Saturday, you'll get yourself up to make yourself decent, and they either wont turn up, or arrive several hours later. Our house was also terrible with a boiler that broke every 2 weeks, crappy cheap sofas with frames seemingly made of Styrofoam, and a fridge freezer that was about as cold as a cupboard.

Rubbish.... When we moved in the house wasn't clean, hadn't done the jobs they had promised. The front window was hanging off and wires were coming out the walls. The roof continually leaked the whole year we lived there and holes in the walls. No interest in fixing the place

I have been with Oasis Properties for the last year and the whole experience was great. Found the guys to be really helpful whenever I had an issue, they were efficient with getting anything fixed. They were always friendly and ready to help. No problems at all. Great service.

Never use Oasis Properties

Please do not use Oasis Properties. They are full of empty promises, conveniently never written down, and will be consistently rude throughout your time dealing with them. The manager, James Rosenburg, is condescending and patronising, and has been rude to us (the tenants) on several occasions. When we first viewed the house in February, and saw the horrific state it was in, we were promised that it would be completely refurbished (from top to bottom), sadly this was only a verbal agreement, but it was the sole reason we signed the damp smelling house. We then visited the house soon after we started paying rent for the house (early July) and the house was in the same state as it was in February, we were reassured that this was because they had not had enough time to clean and repair since the previous tenants had moved out (I believe this is bad practice anyway, as we should be able to move in from the date we started paying rent). Several major issues such as the mouldy lino on the kitchen floor took months to be fixed and the majority of the issues (such as the disgusting state of the house) had not been resolved when we moved into the property on the 17th of September, even though Oasis had written notice of the issues since early July. We have had major issues in the house such as roof/wall leaks, the shower leaking through a smoke detector, the boiler breaking leaving us with no hot water or heating for several days and air trapped in our heating system creating a horrifically loud banging noise (to name but a few issues). I would never rent from them again and I have been actively encouraging others to not even contemplate renting or even looking at the properties they let.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL - DO NOT USE

Properties are in a bad state of repair, fixtures and fittings are a disgrace. White goods (if they work at all) are in a poor condition and filthy, property not cleaned from previous tenant. But previous tenant has had cleaning deducted from their deposit (I know this as they were friends). Requests for repairs fall on deaf ears. They are not interested. I had a leak through my bedroom ceiling from the bathroom above for months and it still has not been repaired. Several of my friends rented through Oasis and all have been ripped off for return of deposit with no explanation and emails and phone calls are ignored. Male staff members are rude, arrogant, slimy and downright nasty. Customer service is non existent. I would not recommend and would advise everyone to avoid at all costs.

Not good enough

Me and 7 others are renting a property in Leeds, when we got shown the house for the first time we loved it, and therefore put our deposit down, with £75 admission to Oasis. We then wanted to see the house one more time before we moved in, in July, Oasis did not organise this viewing and instead we had to arrange it ourselves with the current occupants. The lady who showed us round at first failed to show us the bathroom which leaked brown water as well as letting us know the plumbing is not suitable for 8 of us and that parts of the kitchen weren't working correctly, and that the house did not support double glazing windows, we went into oasis after and "apparently" she knew various problems but obviously did not choose to tell us. Once they got our deposit I feel as if then they did no longer care nor carry on satisfactory customer service.

really helpful and do the best they can.....

Lived with Oasis for a year and the property has had its ups and downs, which are believe to be more the landlord than the agents few teething problems in the beginning after being told certain works would be completed before we moved in and wasn't, Katy the lady we deal with is great always polite even when we have been tough customers. I have rebooked with Oasis this year however it is a bit of a shame I had to repay the admin fee after not missing/having a late payment for whole year, and I hope if we decide to stay in the same property again next year this will happen again.

Wouldn't recommend

First off the woman who showed us around was lovely, she showed us around an alternative house to the one we wanted to see and we all ended up putting our deposit down on it. However when it came the woman at the desk who seems more infatuated with her dog than the customers is a nasty piece of work. Me and my friends have had to experience her on more than one occasion being unesessarly rude to us. I have never experienced customer service like it. I can assure you that we will be not be signing with this estate agent again and we have told others not to as well

Had a lucky escape from renting with oasis. The guy showing us around didn't even know which rooms were available to rent. He ended up showing us 4 rooms, and the room I wanted had already been reserved by someone else earlier that day. Poor communication between colleagues here and very disorganised.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Very transparent and clear at every stage so there's no confusion and you can be sure they aren't hiding anything from you - perfect for first time renters. Great communication, will always inform of cleaners/contractors coming and respond to emails quickly. Have a fab team of specialised maintenance staff who often resolve issues on same day. Never had any issues and would highly recommend!

Absolutely shocking. Apparently it cost them £200+ for cleaning when our flat was clean. They didn't fix anything the whole year we were with them and have just proceeded to rip us off. Never in my life would I recommend these to anyone. Vile company.

Avoid at all costs - awful staff and general service that allow you to live in a rodent infested house while demanding full rent payment. Feel really sorry for people living at 2 regent terrace next year as the rat poison we found in the house at the start of the year indicates this has been a problem for some time.

Really helpful :) looking for a 3 bed house/flat for July time. Walked into the office and went to view houses immediately. Showed us this lovely house, in our price range, very talkative, wanted to help us at all times, really happy with the house and the service :)

Shame I can't put 0 stars. Please avoid using their services at all costs! Extremely poor customer service, my son and his friends were charged a month's rental for a house that was completely inhabitable, and refused to reimburse them. I'd advice anyone to stay homeless instead of staying in a house through them!!
