GoogleTried to scam us out of our deposit.
Scam 1 - Rang disputing our deposit, straight away Danny says there has been an error and a percentage of the money is sent to our account (easy error to make when your gaining)
Scam 2 - The rest of the deposit? Accused the cleaner of ripping Oasis off and billing Oasis for cleaning that didn’t need doing (in tern taking our deposit) Through my persistence Danny investigated and found 'the house was left very clean’ admitting that the 2 errors lead to our deposit being taken. Apparently it was a cleaners report that stated it was very clean and so he gave our deposit back despite Oasis being charged for 'cleaning', More excuses from Danny.
So the cleaner stated that the house was very clean and then charged Oasis (hmm). The cleaner obviously isn’t as good of a con artist as Oasis and Danny
Danny ensured me these two ‘mistakes’ have never happened before, looking at google reviews it seems it has.
You could say typical Oasis - students leaving it cleaner than moved in and then getting charged.
Do not use Oasis! (Many more issues besides this!)

GoogleThe worst estate agents on the face of the earth. Slow/ inexistent response to maintenance issues, scammed us for 'cleaning services' -£40 each, though we left the house cleaner than we found it - there had been decorating work done before we moved in and there was dust/ equipment and decorating materials everywhere. This is clearly a common complaint among their tenants. Staff were rude and slimey to the extreme. Do yourself a favour and camp on Woodhouse Moor to avoid living in one of their managed houses, it will probably be more enjoyable.

GoogleWorst Letting Agents in Leeds. Terrible Communication and Customer Service!
During My time renting with Oasis I found the service terrible. The Oven in the property was broken and an engineer called out and confirmed it was broken, after multiple emails and calls to Oasis the oven wasnt repaired so I went half my tenancy without the use of an Oven.
Upon leaving the property I had a team of cleaners clean the house (which I paid for) and Oasis still tried to take £160 out of my deposit for 'Cleaning'. After disputing this and multiple emails and calls to Oasis I still have no had an answer as to what the 'Cleaning' charges were or am I any closer to getting my deposit back.
I would not recommend anyone to use Oasis Properties.

GoogleAs a tenant with Oasis for the last year of university, they have been great with sorting issues I have brought to them. Although our property was not the Ritz, they did not hide anything and it was a fair price for student accommodation. Although we had issues with the property, they were fast to react to any complaints and always sent a guy round to sort it within 24hours. I would recommend Oasis over any other estate agency in Headingley, especially over central properties! Thanks guys!

GoogleDo not let from this estate agents. Oasis are notoriously bad with paying deposits back. A group of four of us rented from them and each paid £200 (£800 Total). Throughout the tenancy there was problems with the house (Heating and hot water not working, mold in a number of rooms, leaking shower and the front door of the house did not work.) We went in multiple times to fix all these problems but took over a month each time for them to get anything sorted. After all these problems which were entirely down to the condition of the house we were only offered around £350 total deposit back. Finally Oasis or the Landlord arranged for all the trees in the garden to be cut down and were just left in a pile. Becuae of this we couldn't use the garden for the final 3 months of our rental agreement. They then tried to blame this on us and i assume they took the removal of this from our deposit. The house obviously had many problems to begin with, shown by the fact they completely renovated it once we had moved out .To top this all off we also paid £100 for a company to come round and clean the house (Which they spent 5 hours doing) Do not use oasis properties i have had other people tell me similar stories to ours.

Awful people.
Unprofessional.

Response to your reply: I did call the office numerous times throughout the year I stayed in the property. I also called you several times once the contract had finished and I was told lies over the phone over and over again. My problems kept getting pushed aside and ignored. I have a lot of email evidence against you, yet you still have the audacity to ignore me.

GoogleI have been a client of Oasis Properties for 4 years now since starting university right through to my first professional let.
My experiences with Oasis have been great over the years, the two brothers are and always have been on the ball when it comes to any of my issues.
The girls on the front desk dating back from Kat to the newly appointed katy are always on hand when you need them.
Over all the family run business I would say are a pleasure to deal with!

GoogleI used oasis last year for my student accommodation. When I first moved into the property was filthy and the fridge didn't work. Two out of three wardrobes were falling apart and the whole place was damp. Over the first month I battled with them to come and fix these issues, I didn't have a proper working fridge for weeks and the flat never got cleaned (i gave up trying after several months). They seem to have a total lack of organisation and would break the tenancy agreement when it suited them.
At the end of the rent we left the place in a cleaner state than it came in and were charged £150 each for cleaning, out of our deposit. Having disputed this they have gone completely off the radar and I have struggled to get hold of them (or my deposit) since.
I would strongly advise anyone considering using these guys to steer clear, its just not worth it!

GoogleI am currently a tenant of Oasis properties.
I would like to start by saying how unpleasant the reception staff are. Georgina, who works at the front desk is unfriendly, unpleasant and rude. I went to pick up my keys when first moving into my house, Georgina and a blonde haired girl whose name I do not know gave me my key, and went on play a game of guess the alarm code. They then told me, if it doesn't work, to come back or to call up, and that they would then find out what the working code was. The cleaners had to be called back to the house minutes after leaving, as they spent most of the time having a domestic in our kitchen, and failed to actually clean it.
Although they failed at the very first hurdle, we let it go, and were happy to be in our first student house.
During the first weeks they were reasonably efficient at sorting many small problems out. Although this did not last long.
Since then we have had a lot of issues, not just with the house but with the attitude and a complete lack of communication on their part.
The handyman who Oasis sends out to deal with a lot of issues is very nice and friendly, however it seems everyone we meet who knows or works with oasis properties, is exasperated by how useless they are.
We discovered we had silverfish just before Christmas, and were told that it would be sorted that very same day. Knowing this, myself and my flatmate stayed in to wait for them. Now i'm not a silverfish expert, I don't know how long it takes to fumigate a WHOLE house (10 rooms and 3 hallways to be exact), but they appeared somewhere in the maximum of 30 minutes we were out the house that day... So one week later and we were not surprised to discovered we still had silverfish. If you dont know what silverfish are please look them up, they will make your skin crawl.
So I am currently writing this review in anger at our latest problem. We have had no hot water, or central heating for 5 days now (not that we are counting). It is the middle of January, the weather forecast shows it is going to snow tonight. I have emailed Oasis a number of times, and tried to get in contact with them. We have heard NOTHING from them.
If the first semester has been this dreadful, I dread to think what this second semester is going to bring. Please do not make the same mistake as us and our friends, who have also had the displeasure of meeting Oasis properties. The stress is just unnecessary. Save yourself the hassle and just look somewhere else.
Furthermore all the good comments written on this page, google their names, they're all landlords renting houses through Oasis properties. HAHAHAHA!

GoogleVery unhelpful and unorganised, i spent two years in houses by oasis the first year was great as we were dealt with by the landlord and had his personal number so that we could contact him with any issues. A week till i finish uni completely and still haven't received my deposit back from my house in second year. Third year we are in a house completely owned by oasis and they have been terrible the fire alarm broke and they did not come to fix it, the heating was out for two weeks and they were not bothered at all, this was around december. They also email and day "i trust this is okay" no i trust it is not okay that you bring people into my room at stupid o'clock to let them view the house especially with a days notice, and some days they don't give you any notice at all. I haven't had too much problem with the staff unless it comes down to money which i am all way's pretty good with. i mainly found them completely unhelpful. I honestly would avoid using this company if i was you.

Fortunately, we have now found 2 other house mates and we are looking forward to July to move into our new home with Oasis Properties:)
Thank you, Oasis!

GoogleAbsolutely awful. Won’t reply to your emails 90% of the time, will let themselves into the house with no notice (illegally) and then not lock the door behind them. If you have mould they won’t get rid of it, just put something over it and also just let the house fall apart generally. After having 5 different student landlords in leeds these are 100% the worst, they don’t want to help and basically steal money off you.

GoogleI would’ve given them 0 stars if there was option. Horrible lettings agents, false promises, and absolutely zero regard for tenants. I and three other tenants moved into a property which had not been cleaned, decorated, properly cleared of the last tenant’s belongings, household appliances not working, and the list goes on and on and on… If you’re considering a lease with Oasis, I very highly suggest against it.. unless you’re looking to star in the series ‘Homes Under the Hammer’.

TrustpilotLived in one of these agents properties…
Lived in one of these agents properties in second year of university (2022-2023). The problems with these agents was endless. Didn’t have wifi for 10 days at one point which meant we could not do any university work. We then had a flood which went into the living room and basement bedroom. They said they would fix the ceiling that the flood ruined immediately, then didn’t come for 2 days and in that time the ceiling collapsed just after I had walked under it. To fix the flood the just trapped the damp wood back in the ceiling with new plaster board and painted over it. We then had rats in the house for a few weeks which they did deal with but the reason the rats got in in the first place was because there were holes in the outside of the house. The showers were mouldy in which they never fixed. Also the front door wouldn’t close at times so we had to sleep with it unlocked when it wouldn’t close. Overall the condition of the house was pretty appalling to live in- they did not provide a toaster , an indoor bin for the kitchen (like what???), a hoover, mop or any cleaning supplies. Also had leakage from the neighbours flood into the basement bedroom where my house mates belongings got soaked and her carpet was filled with bugs for days because of the damp. Very unsafe living conditions, Oasis refused to compensate her belongings. Would absolutely not recommend unless you want to experience hell for a year x

GoogleCalling them the absolute worst letting agency ever is an understatement - avoid at all costs. Just want to make as much money as possible with 0 care for their tenants. Make the tenants feel like the problems are their fault when the issues are caused by cowboy building and dodgy plumbing. Advertised our house as a 6 bed with all en suites when 4/6 bathrooms had problems meaning we did not have the service that we signed for all year. Zero sympathy or desire to help. Had wastewater leaking out of the back of the house into the kitchen window for the last few months, people came to “fix” it but it was never fixed. The morning we were moving out someone came to jet wash it to make it look appealing for the new tenants. Oasis are all about image and no substance. Definitely avoid. They might appear nice at first but once you’ve signed the tenancy it’s a different story.

GoogleIf I could give 0/5 stars I would. Do not sign with these people - they cannot do their jobs, to the point of endangering you in your own house with their negligence. Reading other reviews I see they only care for stealing your deposit too, so I’ve got that to look forward to. I’m only a month in and it’s been the worse tenancy I have signed thus far. Mould and damp everywhere, and they clearly don’t care as there is more damp from last year still unfixed.

GoogleAvoid this letting agency at all costs - would be leaving 0 stars if possible.
My experience with oasis properties began with them expecting us to move into a house that was full of mould and damp, with wallpaper pinned onto the wall, no desks and chairs in any of the rooms as promised, as well as no other amenities that were promised and were also not there.
Moreover, what was actually in the house was no better, with broken beds, broken stools, broken showers, a loose front door handle showing the lack of safety of the house as well as everything else you could probably think of to be wrong with a house. The house itself was also absolutely filthy, words cannot even describe this, obviously none of the workers actually went in to visit this or check it was liveable, and so waived off all of our complaints - still making us pay rent the whole time the house was in this condition.
To then make matters worse, the house flooded leaving it completely uninhabitable, yet they would still not let us out of our contract.
After huge attempts of calling up various solicitors, as well as the council, Oasis somehow managed to find other tenants for 2 St Michaels Terrace and we were then allowed out of our contract.
Following this, we then had to constantly insist in getting our deposit returned to us, which after weeks it finally came back to us, yet they sent us a lower amount than previously agreed. Again this had to also be chased up.
I would not want any other tenants to go through this experience, and to continue to for some reason fund this company - avoid by all means necessary.

GoogleHonestly could not recommend this place any less. Didn’t even spend 24 hours in the property they let to us before we demanded out of the contract. The property had mould in places, the walls were damp and leaking, the boiler didn’t work and they dismissed it instead of sending someone to fix it, half of the appliances were missing or didn’t work, in the middle of the night we found bugs such as earwigs and woodlouse crawling around. When we arrived to collect the keys, they told us they could only find one key for the 3 bed property, and that the others were missing, how is that at all safe?! Letting us into a property which anyone at all could have the other keys to? On the website we were told it was an all inclusive property, which we were told when we moved in that they decided they were then going to charge us for bills such as gas and electric, there was no mention of that at all in the emails.
If you are looking for a safe and liveable place to stay during your academic year, i advise you to look elsewhere because this company has caused me nothing but stress and upset leaving me homeless until I find somewhere else. Would leave 0 stars if i could.

Absolutely awful business. They have refused to return my deposit even though the flat I was due to rent had become occupied. I had to adjust my work hours so I could address this in person, I also called over 5 times, with every single interaction the staff showed no sign of care. Instead they told me to email them my issue 'as a reminder' for them, all while they knew who I was and what my issue is.
