Outstanding service and support throughout!Given the challenges posed by COVID my girlfriend and I were delighted to secure our first home together in a swift and easy manner, thanks to the help and support of Harrison Thomas at Douglas Allen. Harrison was supportive, friendly and accommodating from day one and by far gave us the best first impression and experience out of a number of Estate Agents that we had viewings with. He helped us with his expert knowledge on the property and situation regarding the purchase and supported us throughout the process through to completion. The whole team at Douglas Allen Hornchurch have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish and supported me through the entire process of buying my first home. Despite the challenging environment and the timing of the purchase with the C-19 pandemic, the team were always on hand and kept in regular communication with me throughout the process. Great Service through many challenges

We have rented our bungalow out via Douglas Allan, due to covid-19 we did think things would become difficult but Joanna Alexis kept us informed at all times. She found us a great tenant, and ensured everything was sorted in a timely fashion. We received our payment within a couple of days via bank transfer (which is much better than other estate agents who I have used in the past, who used to send me a cheque). When I got to view the property on Bede Road initially, I wasn't interested as such as I felt it's a property that has a lot of demand and I felt like with the competition I would not be able to win the property. I spoke to Waqas after the viewing and he suggested the VIP home finder service to me, a service where I could get into see properties before they hit the online market and he suggested to meet Faisal Noor, the in house mortgage adviser, once I became a member of the VIP service and saw Faisal to work out my maximum affordability, I made an offer on the property and it got accepted the very same day! Chadwell Heath Branch - excellent!From the time we met Michelle we felt we could just relax and let her and her team get on with the sale of our house. We had been with another agency and basically wasted the whole summer. In 3 days Michelle and the Chadwell Heath team booked in 60 viewings for the open day, then sent round 2 agents to greet the viewers while we left them to it. It was amazing, we walked away seeing queues of interested buyers on our drive. We love the online service, you can see the offers coming in and they certainly did, for the asking price and more. Our house sold to a buyer from the open day, basically 3 days to sell it. The team continue to help with regular weekly updates on each stage of the sale process. My husband and I cant thank Douglas Allen enough, every one was so helpful, I admit to finding the whole process a bit stressful, however with people such as the wonderful Chelsea Baldwin on your side things were a lot easier. Rude and pushy staff

Dealt with the Saturday team Spencer and Alastair today. Wasted my time in bringing me in to tell me someone had put in an offer of the property I was interested. Rude and Pushy overall wasn’t interesting in showing me property’s unless I went with their mortgage adviser.Think this reply is absolutely ridiculous. There was no need to liar in order to bring in to your office, how does this have a ‘friendly approach’ when your staff are blunt and rude? No other agencies needed to find out if I am in a strong position, as I already had a mortgage in principal set up. This just show how unprofessional and inexperienced your company is!!

After 7 months without a real offer on my house sale I thought changing Estate agents would do little. Steve Ford, came, he saw, he sold! He came well prepared with all the information to back up his claims to make a sale and to make the very best representation of my property. Disgraceful Estate Agent with no shame

In April 2019 a house came up for Sale on Mortlake Road ilford. We went to view the house and absolutely loved it. However.....Douglas Allen ruined EVERYTHING. Because we had a buy to let mortgage we were advised by Nabeel one of the consultants there that due to the property having polystyrene ceilings we were unable to buy it as when it came to valuation it would be a nil valuation. What a lie! I was advised by other agents that that should not have been a reason for me to be turned down. I had everything they required to buy the house...I even used their Solicitor which I was advised by Ali another consultant at Douglas Allen that if I used their solicitor I would be in a better position to buy the house as the sale would go through easily if accepted. My elderly parents loved the house we even put the highest offer as was told by Ali but Nabeel turned us down. He made us run around and gave the house to someone else. I compaoned to them and their senior told me that as the other party had all documents acted 'swiftly' the house was given to them. That is a lie! Simply because on the first viewing as soon as we viewed the house that same day we put offer forward and got our stuff together. They really upset me and my elderly parents. They promise but do not deliver. A bunch of cowboys! We did EVERYTHING they had asked and they turned us down. I think they get joy out of making people run around. They should understand that buying a house is a stressful time and they should help people fulfill buy their dream home not play chess with human lifes!
