GoogleWe would like to give a special mention to Kiera Pinhorne from the sales team who showed us around a property on Friday. We were very impressed with her professionalism and found that she was very polite, respectful and very helpful and informative. We have been to many estates agents over the last few months and must say have never received a service like this before. A very pleasant, helpful young girl. As a private tenant I cannot recommend any lettings through Mann Countrywide. They are VERY slow to respond to any requests, whether its for repairs or support as a tennant. From my experience of getting any things fixed they often call someone to do the work then leave everything with you to sort out, and dont appear to care about any updates. When we ran in to issues with the landlord selling the property they seemed to stop responding to any requests, and I spent almost 3 weeks trying to get ANYONE in the local office on the phone, and had to head in to be told "Sorry, I have been the only person in the office all week", things like this are not our problem, that is something that the management and head office need to address. I constantly have to chase to see if they are talking to my landlord, but get very nonchaaunt answers and the "We are trying", but if you have not heard back and are actively trying then call me after a week, not have me have to call you.

GoogleI had been looking for a property as my house had sold and was very pleased to be put in contact with a lovely lady called Samantha Jenkins who worked for Mann &Co estate agents Waterlooville. From start to finish she was very professional, and very happy to show you the properties, and also had done her homework on the properties she was showing you, she kept me up to date with any property she thought I might like, and when it came to viewings, she answered every question you asked,, but if she didn't know the answer, she made sure when she got back to the office, she would find out the information and get straight back to you. I could honestly say, with all my dealings with estate agents in the past few weeks, Samantha has been a god send, and I wish she had been the one who had been the estate agent on all my viewings (even on property that Mann's wasn't selling). Samantha made a very stressful situation more relaxing, what a fantastic lady to have working for you, more like Samantha would be great. 10/10

GoogleThank you to Samantha who allowed us to take our time in viewing our new home. We moved from 15 miles away so it was great to be able to stay quite a bit longer than a standard viewing. It proved hard work tracking down the vendor - as he no longer lived at the property or in the area. Matt and Samantha worked so hard on our behalf to get things underway. They also arranged for us to get into the property between exchange and completion so that we could at least put up a curtain rail in the main bedroom and assemble some hanging rails ready for our clothes. This made a huge difference to us on moving day. Thank you for all you have done.

Charged me a fully managed Service but couldnt fulfill the service as had no keys to my property, charged my 10% when it should have been 7%...refunded me after complaint, never visited my property, visited after complaint but never recieved a report. Left them after 1 year had to pay another year upfront as you need to stay with them for 24 months minimum. So ultimately, i paid double for a Tenant find service. Live and learn!

Absolutely unacceptable, my poor mother travelled all the way in an uber with a broken foot, to get a call last minute saying oh sorry I was unaware I had a viewing I’ll be there in 10 mins, my mum stood outside the property to get a call later saying they can’t make it so she was waiting outside with a broken foot and wasted her money on Ubers there and back. Rubbish estate agency.. the cheek to make excuses saying they are very busy, we are all busy! It’s your job!

My family had rented a house with Mann agency Gravesend for which paid all the fee in advance including rent and deposit. When it comes to day of moving 14th December 2024, we received a call from jay squire (manager) that we can't take the keys since gas certificate is not in place and there might be gas leaking. He was not even sorry while speaking to us. Since we had paid until 14th December to our current landlord who had already rented the room to someone else who was also coming on same day evening 5pm . Even that person came as well. We were panic because we had no place to go. Our moving van were also rented and ready. My sister who was also moving with us she is heavily pregnant and I already have a 4 year old kid. Due to which we all were panic . We visited the office mann properties, what the staff treated and spoke to us very rudely especially Katie Garrett except sales manager( I am not sure if think his name is Rob ) and one more member of staff i think Dan they were the only one who talked to us nicely. Otherwise Katie totally refused to help us and said she can't manage anyone and left us almost homeless. She even said we should go to council to get a house , do you really think they will give us a house in few hours instead of helping those people who are already in queue since years. Renting manager was also not helpful at all. Eventually Katie told us to go out from the office and told us she will call police which was obviously not a solution for atleast us. They closed the office earlier and locked it inside so we had to sit outside in cold with our kid just in hope that they will do something. But no it was just the worst day of life. Then on Monday 16th December when I visited to the office to take the money back jay told he will not give us our full money back even we were not faulty we were ready to move but they were the one who breached the contract . Even I reviewed on Google for it they deleted it as well which was even not including a single word like violence or abusive or something like that. Which is totally against the uk law as well. Kindly choose the good company if you are really looking for a peaceful experience never go to them

Any problems that Charlie can’t sort along the way Josh (manager) sorts out quickly and professionally. A pleasure working with Mann, we highly recommend them.

An absolutely dreadful service led by incompetent manager(s) who I felt had zero regard for either the sale or the safe keeping of my property. I was very saddened and disappointed by their poor ethics and do not regard them as honest or trustworthy. Senior managers are ill informed, indifferent and condescending. I would never recommend them under any circumstances.
