We’ve sold houses before and used a few local estate agents. As this was our home of 40 years I did a bit of research and found Northwood. Nicola came to value our home, explaining why she had arrived at the amount. Her explanation during viewings of our locality and the services available within walking distance was second to non. Even though we’d lived there many years, I was complacent about how central we were to schools/ shops/ doctors etc We were lucky to sell fairly quickly and can’t thank Nicola enough for her enthusiasm and positive outlook. But this isn’t where the process ends….. Karen is the SuperStar behind the scenes, making sure our sale didn’t just “drag on” unnecessarily and always kept her promise to inform us of any updates (never done before with previous agents) Karon did her best to alleviate the stress of moving house, ensuring it progressed as smoothly as possible. Both Karen and Nicola are a credit to the Northwood team and will always recommend them to family and friends.

Wow where do I start! Myself and my daughter started this year on the landlord journey looking to buy houses in the local area that were run down and bring them back to life for years to come. I’m a keen DIYer but had little knowledge of the buy to let world. Mel at Northwood has made this journey a breeze guiding me through the ups and downs and educating me through 3 house sales and completing the process by taking them all back on the guaranteed rent scheme. Which I never knew existed. Nothing is too much trouble and we have managed to work well as a team to build our portfolio with the low stress guaranteed rent. I cant recommend Northwood Hatfield enough I haven’t met all the team but Mel and Nicola are a credit to the team. Looking forward to a long partnership with these guys for the next 10 years. I would definitely recommend Northwood Estate Agents in Hatfield. From the outset, I received really good advice on the sale of my house and the local knowledge really came across. They were friendly and professional, taking great photo’s and a walk through video to market my house. The team at Northwood handled all the bookings and viewings highlighting the selling points of the house and area. Once the sale was agreed, they followed through on all parts of the sale, tenaciously keeping on top of the whole chain of house sales and making sure I was updated at every stage. All the staff at the Hatfield branch have been great , from Mel who viewed the property, took the photos etc to Karen Hobbs . Karen was constantly updating me as the buyers were slow .
