GoogleWorst agency we came across so far..Had a viewing with Ashleigh from this agency, liked the property apart of a shabby small sofa and the state of two beds in both bedrooms. We made an offer for the asking rental price just requesting if this furniture could be removed and we would buy our own and we would leave the purchased one if we were to move out (even offered to make official agreement regarding the leaving of the new furniture) After chasing her a couple of times Ashleigh finally called apologising that the landlord had already rented it out through a different agency. However, we found this property again today, with an increased rental price with the Spencer James again. I spoke to their lettings manager Andy, who actually confirmed that the Apartments were back in market as somebody didn’t pay the deposit, so basically they lied to us that it was rented through different agency without their knowledge. Andy was rude on a phone, saying that there is an issue that we have a 6 year old child!??? And maybe the landlord would agree if we paid 8 weeks deposit rather than 6 to ensure that it covers any damage if our son draws on the walls or smth!Seriously???We have an educated boy who does his homework, reads books and not a baby, plus as a family we would have kept the place tidy to create a nice home for us. What kind of discrimination is this? I hope they will find some sharing students who will party and destroy this apartment, would be a good reason to change their attitude towards potential tenants......

They personalise your house hunt and they take over your stress, until you make a choice. They will also follow up with your credit checks and sundry searches, and give you all ancillary supports, until you get through. GoogleAndy, our estate agent was very professionally, friendly and super helpful from showing us the flat, living there and vacating the flat. The process was done efficiently due to Andy's professionalism and helpfulness. He always went above and beyond to help and explained everything to us in a clear and concise manner particularly the contract when we had questions and always made sure we understood what he was saying. Andy is very approachable which makes him an outstanding estate agent! The most important thing is, he was easily reachable whether by phone, email or text and he always happy to help regardless. Overall, I will definitely recommend Spencer James and particularly Andy as the service he provided was impeccable!

GoogleBeen three months since I engaged Spencer James to fully manage my flat and couldn't be happier. After a truly horrible experience with a rogue agent in E14 area, I reached out to Tom Murrell at Spencer James and everything has been going well since. Adam Thomas who deals with the daily queries and matters is efficient, polite and very responsive - absolute pleasure to deal with. Spencer James has dispelled the extremely negative view I've had towards the real estate agents. Despite the property being transitioned from a difficult tenant, and me having to manage all this from Australia, Adam and the team were quick to organise all necessary repairs, a fresh coat of paint and even found me a tenant, with hardly any loss of earning from the transition. I would recommend Adam (and Spencer James) for anyone thinking of letting their flat out.

GoogleEasy & smooth experience with Spencer James. Thank you to Adam Thomas for helping myself and my husband find what we were looking for quickly. Adam was very prompt with getting back to emails and phone calls, he has been a great help and the rest of the staff at Spencer James are very welcoming and professional. I definitely recommend them in the E16 area, fees are not as extortionate as other agents. Agencies have a very bad name these days and Spencer James definitely take that away. Thank you!
