Selling a property is always a stressful and convoluted process, but Thomas Cann at Spencer James made it a lot more bearable and straightforward. Tom is an exceptionally dedicated professional and has an excellent knowledge of the market. He gave me plenty of very useful advice throughout the process, and was always extremely responsive; I never had to wait for more than a few hours for a reply. Tom won’t hesitate to go the extra mile for his clients: even when he was on annual leave he kept in touch with me, organised viewings and managed to find a buyer within a few days. All in all an excellent experience that deserves a lot more than 5 stars. Thanks again Tom.

If you are looking for the best, most reliable and honest estate agents to work with, look no further. SJ sold me my property 13years ago and I have been working with them since. Andy has gone out of his way more than once, twice, three times to ensure things went smoothly at my property and more recently Jovanna has been an absolute pleasure to work with. I am genuinely grateful to have these agents to work with as can rest comfortably knowing my rental property is being looked after.

Thomas and his team are really professional with great care of his clients, attention to details and high efficiency. He and his team helped us with the purchase a flat in 2015 and recently selling it almost hassle free. They had also been managing the property on our behalf and we had never worried about anything at all. If you are to purchase or sell a property in the area, I must say Spencer James is the best one to turn to and I highly recommend you to ask for Thomas.

Rude staff. Called to enquire about a property available 3 months from now. Was rudely cut off about the property being under offer before I could even finish my sentence about arranging a viewing. Didn't even bother to ask any of my details if I'd be interested in something else. Just: thats not available, sorry, bye. I've spoken to multiple real estate agents over the years, they at least bother to take details if nothing is available immediately. If this is how the company treats prospective customers at the first interaction, I cannot imagine how they behave once you've forked over money.

I rented my property through Spencer James and couldn't be happier. Andreas Panteli (Andy) is friendly and super helpful. It is clear Andy is dedicated to his work and really cares about his clients. He really does go that extra mile in everything he does. In addition to all the big things he did, it was the little things like waiting patiently at my property for tradesmen and deliveries, helping with paperwork, meeting me on the other side of London so I could give him some keys, and even re-directed my post. I have been almost 2 years in a property with this agency. When I started in this flat I said to them about the things that should be fixed as the freezer door handle. Andy has always an excuse to not fix it (even if my landlord says to do it asap) and he always says that he bought it and he will do it.... but after 2 years he didnt do it. We had a problem with the washing machine on winter and we contacted him to fix it. My landlord was really quick to make the decision to fix the washing machine (we really appreciate our landlord's responses all these years) but Andy was always giving us an excuse and we were 2 - 3 weeks without washing machine and it was really stressful. We just had problems with him but we need to mention that there is another worker called Toni who is always trying to help us as much as she can but in the end I dont recommend this agency because they are really slow fixing things, very bad emhaphy from Andy and he has a very rude tone. I am reading some of the comments here and I agree about how he treats people. I just hope that I can take my deposit and not to hear about this agency anymore.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

I first met Andy Panteli from Spencer James Residential when I went to view a couple of flats in July 2020 on the Galleons Point Estate E16. After deciding on which flat I was going to rent the completion of the rental application form and background checks was made very clear by Andy. The deposit scheme that you must use is also very good, as you get your own login, and can check that the deposit is secure. There were a couple of issues that Andy arranged to get fixed in a very short time. I stayed at the flat for the minimum 8 months that was in the contract, before asking Andy to view a two bed flat that we had seen at his office, and then moved into with my partner. Once my old flat had been inspected, I was able to login into the deposit scheme, and request that my deposit be returned which took about 5 working days to be credited back to bank account. I had the pleasure of dealing with Thomas Cann! As a first time I was very nervous about the whole process but he mad everything so easy and pleasant. From arranging the viewing of the flat to chasing the seller and his solicitors to respond to my solicitors requests, Thomas made the purchasing process run that little bit smoother. He made it possible for me to complete on my property in time for the stamp duty holiday which he knew was important to me. He went over and beyond the call of duty, knowing I was a first time buyer with no clue what I was doing he was there to provide an helping hand when I ran in to issues or was struggling to find solicitors and a surveyor for my property.
