Louise Chisholm-Johnson (Holmfirth office)…

Louise Chisholm-Johnson provided us with an outstanding service. She even managed to recover the full costs of reinstating our rental property back to its former condition from the outgoing tenant, after they had left it in a very sorry state. It was on both Louise and Tyla's professional opinion that notice should be served on the tenant, as they had previously inspected the property and informed the tenant that the condition ot the property was not acceptable. As the tenant clearly did not act on their advice, notice was served and the tenant evicted.Louise kept us informed throughout the whole process and clearly went to great lengths to recover the reinstatement costs. I can honestly say that If every Estate Agent that offers a fully managed service had someone like Louise in charge of lettings. Then decent landlords would have a lot more confidence in the rental section, knowing somebody like Louise was prepared to go that extra mile to recover damage costs from bad tenants.

1st time property hunter - great experience!

Very thorough viewing experience with Gabbie, she was able to answer all of my questions, explained the process well and was very friendly. Also, I’d like to shout out Wendy who has helped me over the phone over the past few weeks. As this is my first time hunting for a property, I had a lot of questions but Wendy was able to support me through it. Email and phone communication with Wendy was fantastic. I’d highly recommend using Linley & Simpson, it’s so refreshing to find an agency that is fair transparent and offer a high quality service. Both Wendy and Gabbie are assets to the company!

Great Experience with Linley & Simpson York

I had a very positive experience with Linley & Simpson's York office while searching for a new property to rent. Your prompt responses to my umpteen emails and calls was really amazing. I also need to compliment Tara Cuddy, who showed us the property. She was so impressive as she took time and showed us all the features of the property. The way Tara interacted with us giving us all the details and the necessary time even when we wanted additional viewing was really superb. Linley & Simpson was one of the most professional agencies my husband and I’ve dealt with thus far! Jordan, Emma and Seb showed us multiple properties during our search and were all amazing! Jordan was especially available whenever we reached out regarding any questions and/or viewings and was always prompt with his responses! Having had an unfortunate situation happen with another property, we were in desperate need of a new home ASAP. I already used Linley & Simpson service to find my previous accommodation 2 years ago and I was very satisfied. When the time came to look again for a dwelling to rent, I decided to try Linley & Simpson services again. And again I was very satisfied. After 2-3 weeks of hell from that damp smelling scam cave bridgefords in Leeds, I switched and had a much much better experience with Linley and Simpson. I booked one viewing and was shown around that and another two similar flats by jade who was great and made things very easy for me by picking flats that actually suited my preferences. They were very responsive and the process once I’d decided on a flat was straightforward and not stressful. Collecting keys and moving in was smooth thanks to Luke who conveyed the necessary information without waffling on. Was a very pleasant experience.

Megan Balmforth was quick to email me the day after handing the keys back to the property, explaining she would be undertaking an inspection of the property and any deposit due to me would be refunded accordingly upon completion of the inspection. The following day I received a confirmation email explaining the deposit would be paid in full. Megan passed on the landlords comments/praise and praised me herself, it's good to get nice feedback and for the process to be so prompt. I received another email again today from Megan, the third email in succession to check if the deposit was in my bank account, I explained it hadn't gone in as yet however, the deposit has now appeared in my bank account this evening. Megan has been great at keeping in touch and ensuring prompt feedback and payment went smoothly, I am really happy with how quickly Megan has responded and communicated with me, as well as ensuring my deposit was paid as promptly as possible.

Excellent customer experience and super fast turnaround

I was very abruptly handed notice by my current landlord and within 48 hours was approved and was sending documents for credit checks and references. Amina was the agent dealing with me as i went for 2 viewings in Leeds city centre. The flat i was looking at was ideal for me and my friend moving in, i was surprised it was still on the market as the location, size and amenities were all 10/10. Amina answered every question i had with ease and even gave me advice on how to handle my current situation. Helpful throughout, Amina managed to get the approval from the landlord within 2 hours of the viewing finishing. As my first time going through an agency to rent a flat this was the perfect experience a customer can hope for. I am delighted with my experience and would use Linley and Simpson again. Thank you very very much to Amina at the Leeds City Branch, she was absolutely amazing! Amina was extremely knowledgeable about the properties we went to view and gave some great insights into the local area. I had a lovely time viewing the properties and she was very patient and kind not only to me as a prospective tenant but also to the ten so that were in the property when we went to go view it. I cannot recommend Linley & Simpson in Kelham Island, Sheffield highly enough.The staff are extremely helpful, efficient and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.I don’t know the names of everyone in the branch, but at some point in the last month, they have all been more than helpful.In particular Jordan, Megan, Natalie and Emma have given me so much assistance, sorting problems and organising quotes, carpets, maintenance and furniture, not to mention tenancies.Anyone looking for a letting agent, can be assured that their property will be very well looked after.
