GoogleMark has helped me multiple times in the past when I've needed to view properties and I honestly don't think I've ever felt so looked after. He constantly goes above and beyond what you would already expect from a great letting agent and he is easily a huge credit to Harrogate's Linley and Simpson branch. Moving house is one of the most stressful things you'll ever do in your life and people as caring as Mark help to make this tough time just that little bit more bearable.

I was shown round two flats with the same person, Aiden, and both times he was extremely helpful and patient since this was my first time looking for a place to live on my own. He gave really useful advice as well which lead to me getting the first flat I applied for. Everyone else on the team I interacted with over email or phone were also really wonderful.

Linley and Simpson have been super helpful to me finding a place very quickly in Otley, which was a very stressful period. I managed to get a great property! They were always friendly and always answers the phone. Only negative I would say is that sometimes we would call and the information would not be relayed to other team members.

I have lived aboard from the last ten years and since leaving the UK, my house has been rented out through Linley & Simpson. Their overall customer service is excellent. They have been expedient in communicating the tenants needs; work closely with third party contactors when things need repairing or fixing and keep me up to date with changes in legislation or obligations for landlords. I would highly recommend.

I rent a property through this company in York. Their good points are, they are quick to find tenants and so far they appear to be keeping us legally compliant- but that’s where the positives end. They let both tenant and landlord down in so many ways. They’re too hasty to move tenants in, resulting in poor service for the tenant and embarrassment for the landlord. There’s bad communication between departments. Never available to speak to and don’t return calls. Their service includes property inspections which miss the most basic of things you’d expect a letting agent to check between tenants. For instance- do the taps work? does the heating work? can the windows be secured? What state was this property in when we started managing it- what state is it in now? I wouldn’t recommend this company to landlords or tenants because they’re too focused on financial turn around over quality of service.
