Disappointing, dismissive and useless. To beging with, the selling team were nice enough and very communicative. Even if there were mistakes along the way they always seemed to find means to fix it, at least until the deposit was paid. But once the money were sent, and you signed the last document for the property; if you have any issues whatsoever with the it they will not interfere. YOU have to deal with EVERYTHING, there were health and safety issues with our rental and the landlord agreed to end the tenancy early because they sent someone to evaluate the flat and there were serious issues; "the property manager" said this is not up to her and she can't help with any of the issues and to contact the landlord as he is the one who manages the property...shocking!!!! What is the purpose of Intercounty then? You can go and rent directly from the landlord in this case. Also Extremely rude and absolutely USELESS ... Unprofessional! This whole time looked only at ways to not take full RESPONSIBILITY, and "the property manager" tried to pretend that she wasn't aware of the situation, and when it was brought to her attention that emails have been sent with every detail, once she did see that everything was documented she then ignored us and did not answer the phone or her emails, only showing that she has no idea how to handle a situation. So I don't understand how can you be a property manager when you are solely relying on the landlord to deal with this, the tenant is left to whom? the tenant is left completely unprotected. What property are you managing? Or am I to understand that your job description is only to send a checklist and that is it? Tracey Coulthard was an absolute tool or at least behaving like one in this case and completely left me appalled of her lack of interest and unprofessionalism in finding a resolution; her main concern being to find ways to dismiss us, instead of helping closing this situation. Really goes to show what good people (or the lack of them) goes to ruin one's reputation.

Natasha Haywood has been absolutely amazing with the service she has provided. She has been able to answer any queries that I have had and is always at the end of an email, whenever I have emailed her (which has been about a million times!) I dealt with James Newton at InterCounty and I can’t praise him enough for his professionalism and friendliness. I would not hesitate to recommend him or the agency to anyone wanting to sell their home. Couldn’t have been more helpful. It has taken a long time for our sale to happen through no fault of InterCounty. Everything seemed to be against us but Jennie and the team handled everything superbly - always keeping us informed every inch of the way. Ahhhhhh now where do I begin with this lovely team at InterCounty? From the moment we embarked on the renting out of our property Dan, William, Molly and Emma have been ACE! All communication was easy peasy, efficient and kind, a trait which I personally rate very highly as a quality. William who became our main point of contact until the tenants moved in is brilliant and has kept us informed of everything we needed. We have all been thrilled with him. We had a few agents around before we chose InterCounty Old Harlow and we most certainly do not regret our decision. There was no hard sell, no cheesy lines, no smarmy soundbites. There are always going to be things along the road which cause a bump but I believe that with Dan, William, Molly and Emma they will see us right as we rent out the beloved family home. If you believe in treating people, even Estate Agents, as you expect to be treated yourself then you should have no problems here. All are so easy to talk to. If you are thinking of getting a team onboard to rent your home out, we are delighted with the rentals posse and I think that you should at least give them a whirl. Please buy them all a bun from Dorrington's in Old Harlow High Street when you see them though, as they are all a bit partial to one!

This team is truly amazing. From the moment we met Peter the Sales Manager in the office through to Ted holding a Saturday viewing with 16 prospective buyers (which I was able to miss in favour of a leisurely day out) and then ten days later Peter advising us on which buyers to proceed with, the service level and communication from this branch were consistently utterly professional and reassuring. We hadn’t moved house for over fifteen years, so we needed some educating on more recent trends, and Peter and his team could not have been more helpful or patient with us. On top of this, we were selling two properties and buying one, but Peter was not daunted by this idea and provided us with lots of help and encouragement. Thanks to him, our choice of buyers to proceed with turned out to be spot on which helped us get through a process which unfortunately in the final few weeks became mired in difficulty. This was due to the unexpected uncertainty and disruption caused by the systems issues at Premier Property Lawyers who were handling one of the sales on behalf of one set of buyers and also acting for the vendor in our own purchase. As a result of these problems, our exchange of contracts was delayed and we could not move on the date that all parties had agreed upon. Throughout this time Peter and his team were on the case constantly and eventually after what seemed like an eternity (a process our own solicitor described as ‘horrendous’) we finally exchanged contracts and were able to plan our move with a new and very welcome sense of certainty. If ever we had to sell our new property (not something we are contemplating for a moment at present!) there is no doubt that our first port of call would be Intercounty Harlow branch.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I cannot recommend the team at Intercounty Old Harlow enough. From our first interaction they were knowledgable, supportive and took the time to listen and share their market insights with us. Within a few viewings they had sold our flat for the price we wanted. They handled the whole process incredibly - even in the face of huge pressure thanks to the Stamp Duty Holiday deadline (which we met, thanks to their hard work!)
