Recently purchased a house through Winkworth Harringay. Daniel Vincent was excellent to work with finding a property, advising us directly and honestly about what he thought was right for us, not pushing us where he felt we could do better, and being a very effective conduit between us and the owners of the property we did find. During a long, challenging chain process to exchange and completion, Daniel and Rachel Taylor were incredibly supportive, working very hard to reassure us and all parties in the chain. Would recommend them.

I've just purchased my first flat with Thomas Syms from Winkworth as the estate agent.When first viewing the property I found Thomas to be very knowledgeable, he could answer all of my questions about the flat and about the wider process. He also made it very easy to schedule two viewings around my busy work schedule.Later in the process Thomas was responsive and helpful. As a first time buyer I found his guidance to be really benficial.I'd definitely recommend his services to anyone in a similar position.

We recently sold our flat with Winkworth and the process was seamless from start to finish. Jake provided a realistic valuation and clearly understood the local market well. Our flat sold in under a week, and we were kept in the loop throughout the viewings. The post-offer process was incredibly smooth; Rachel kept us informed of our buyers progress and was incredibly helpful in nudging solicitors along. The worst estate agents I've ever rented from

EDIT: Winkworth have asked me to say the branch this took place at, but at one point the managing director used some aggressive tactics to shut us up, and to be honest I want to remain anonymous to Winkworth as they still have my contact details.--I had a terrible experience with Winkworth when I was renting with them. No matter who it was you were speaking to, you were treated like dirt and felt like the lowest priority. Here are some of the things that happened...I moved in whilst the flat was on a rolling tenancy, so when a new flatmate moved in, the inventory wasn't updated and the flat was never checked for cleanliness when a tenant left. I don't know how standard practice this was, but when we all decided to terminate the tenancy, whoever was carrying out the checkout inspection was looking at photos of a completely different flat - different furniture, different carpets. We successfully appealed when they tried to take some of our deposit.One day, I had a knock on the door and it was some painter decorators who had been booked to decorate all our bedrooms. We didn't receive any notice of this, and had to live in our flat with the paint fumes for the next two days.I lived with two other flatmates, and one of them became very violent and aggressive to us. We suddenly felt very unsafe. The police weren't able to do anything, so we went to Winkworth asking for help, and they just said we'd have to sort it out between the three of us. I'm not sure what the practice is around this, but to just brush us off without even being empathetic to our situation was very upsetting. I asked them if they would only step in once we were in bodybags...!There were many other things that happened during my time with them. I wanted to write about some of my experiences over the years I rented with them to make people aware that they really live up to the typical estate agent stereotypes.

Very good experience renting our property via Winkworth in Kensal Rise

From start to end of tenancy Winkworth's in Kensal Rise were a pleasure to deal with. Tenants were found quickly and easily, any issues during the rental period were dealt with immediately by the Michael who manages the properties and communication between all parties was great. Absolutely no complaints with their service at all. Having had a bad experience when working with another local estate it was great to move to this team who were very responsive, dealt with issues straight away and made sure tenant and landlord were all kept happy! thank you

Most of the time renting can be a nightmare. I have had a highly positive experience with Winkworth in the process of selling my house. The brochure pictures fully reflected the charm and character of the property, while illustrating the fantastic condition of the house. The house was marketed at a reasonable which attracted significant interest, and led to a very high conversion of viewings to offers, and were able to accept an offer, which despite it being the third highest, was decently higher than where the property went on the market for. Unfortunately due to Covid, our buyer had to pull out, but Michael moved quickly and we had a new offer within 2 hours, which we accepted only marginally less than where we originally accepted. They team held my hand through the occasionally choppy process, and we exchanged in time for our sale exchange, and completed with minimal fuss. I absolutely recommend Winkworth Haringey. Having been in the UK for the last 10 years and dealt with numerous estate agents, Winkworth has been by far the best. I’ve been renting a flat for around a year now in Haringey ladder, and they are extremely responsive, hands on and helpful whenever you have an issue. They are professional looking after the landlords but also the tenants. I strongly recommend Kelly, Konstantina and Anika. They really know what they are doing and they do it with passion.

They never solving problems.... 0 respect to tenats they are just nice liars it's 7mothns raining into the room, they check it and said it's only raining inside when the rain is stronger, so I'm still using bowls for water for 7 months. Boiler is broken now they made a appointment and didn't come over. When My girlfriend called them they said you have been contacted and informed that we come on evening... Nobody called us. Now they made appointment after week, so you can live without heating.. olso they just coming to check not to fix it....

Complete waste of time. Was trying to rent a flat through Winkworth and was hounded by the agent for an offer. Put the offer in and turned down other flats. Over a week later was told to go look elsewhere. Highly unprofessional and wouldn't use it recommend them for renters.

I had the worst experience with Winkworth Harringay Estate Agents. I was booked for a viewing and traveled an hour to view the property and after I reached I got a call from one of the agents stating there is a problem with access to the property. Agent's excuse was that he tried my number an hour back but couldn't get through (absolute lies as I have no voice mail from him and why would you wait last minute to tell?). I requested him to take sometime and arrange the viewing and he confirmed he would call back in 10 minutes. I waited at the property for 45 minutes and he stopped picking up calls and when I tried to call the office number the other agents made excuses. I thought Winkworth was a professional estate agents but this experience with Winkworth Harringay was absolutely dreadful and the worst.
