Aaron was an amazing help

Aaron was an amazing help. As soon as I spoke with him regarding re renting my flat he put me on the right 'track' in regards to everything I needed to do or not to do. The previous tenants left the flat in a real mess and Aaron recommended certain businesses that dealt with many of my concerns ie getting rid of rubbish, where to get an EPC from etc. As soon as the flat was ready to go on the market Aaron was able to muster up fifteen applicants whilst weedling out a few that weren't quite right for my flat. He got me an immediate offer which was a little more than expected which was great. Overall I had a great experience with Winkworth, would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone that would like to rent out their property.

I cannot recommend Aaron and his team…

I cannot recommend Aaron and his team highly enough - they are first rate, professional, knowledgeable and dependable. Any issues were ironed out quickly and Aaron went above and beyond to find a solution that left tenants, landlord and buyer happy. Aaron is extremely responsive, practical and a delight to deal with. I have dealt with other local agents over the years and Aaron is head and shoulders above the rest. He knows the market inside out and I wouldn't hesitate in renting my property with his team again.

Buy a house from Thomas Syms

I was a first time buyer and a little apprehensive about buying a property. My agent, Thomas Syms, really understood what I was looking for very quickly and was able to suggest some suitable properties. Thomas has been a great help throughout the process of myself and my partner buying our first home. He's been with us from the very beginning of the purchase process (initial viewing) all the way through to exchange and completion. Aaron is totally different from other letting agents. He goes above and beyond to be helpful and works incredibly hard at building relationships with landlord and tenant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his team. It is very rare to find someone who goes above and beyond but Aaron does. I'd also like to praise Stanislava for her excellent administration of the process. As a landlord I will definitely be using them again. I’ve used Winkworths for many years with no complaints. They found nearly 30 people to go and view my rental property which had been recently renovated and found new tenants very quickly. We rented a property via Winkworth…

We rented a property via Winkworth (Kensal Rise) for a period of almost three years. Fraser and Aaron assisted us with the search for the flat and Michael was our point of contact for all things maintenance and beyond. The process of finding the property at the outset was seamless - Winkworth were excellent. Throughout the three year period, the flat was not without its usual issues (boiler etc). Michael was a dependable contact and took responsibility for gaining the relevant consents/approvals from the landlord/lady and subsequently ensured service providers completed the work to schedule and with minimal disturbance. He really did make the renting process so much easier.Finally, when we wanted to depart from the flat, Aaron ensured that our interests were considered and was the point of contact between us and the landlord/lady. Through great management, we were able to come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. Again, Michael also kept us well informed of and was transparent about the departure process. If you are looking for a professional, personable and reliable agent, choose Winkworth (Kensal Rise).

Amazing estate agents

Our home purchase had quite a few blips along the way and both Nicola and Alex were so patient and reassuring throughout. Nicola never stopped pushing the lawyers on our behalf and I honestly don’t think it would have happened without them. I’m not usually the best fan of estate agents but Winkworth seem to be an honest and genuine firm. Nicola and Alex are just simply fantastic. I don’t plan on moving again for quite some time I but if I do I will definitely use them again. Highly highly recommend.

The worst estate agents I've ever rented from

EDIT: Winkworth have asked me to say the branch this took place at, but at one point the managing director used some aggressive tactics to shut us up, and to be honest I want to remain anonymous to Winkworth as they still have my contact details.--I had a terrible experience with Winkworth when I was renting with them. No matter who it was you were speaking to, you were treated like dirt and felt like the lowest priority. Here are some of the things that happened...I moved in whilst the flat was on a rolling tenancy, so when a new flatmate moved in, the inventory wasn't updated and the flat was never checked for cleanliness when a tenant left. I don't know how standard practice this was, but when we all decided to terminate the tenancy, whoever was carrying out the checkout inspection was looking at photos of a completely different flat - different furniture, different carpets. We successfully appealed when they tried to take some of our deposit.One day, I had a knock on the door and it was some painter decorators who had been booked to decorate all our bedrooms. We didn't receive any notice of this, and had to live in our flat with the paint fumes for the next two days.I lived with two other flatmates, and one of them became very violent and aggressive to us. We suddenly felt very unsafe. The police weren't able to do anything, so we went to Winkworth asking for help, and they just said we'd have to sort it out between the three of us. I'm not sure what the practice is around this, but to just brush us off without even being empathetic to our situation was very upsetting. I asked them if they would only step in once we were in bodybags...!There were many other things that happened during my time with them. I wanted to write about some of my experiences over the years I rented with them to make people aware that they really live up to the typical estate agent stereotypes.

From start to end of tenancy Winkworth's in Kensal Rise were a pleasure to deal with. Tenants were found quickly and easily, any issues during the rental period were dealt with immediately by the Michael who manages the properties and communication between all parties was great. Highly recommend

Most of the time renting can be a nightmare.
