Excellent communication and progression service instrumental in ensuring we secured our forever home

From viewing our first house, to finding our forever home, John knew exactly what we were looking for. He did a great job communicating with us and the vendors and we always knew where we stood throughout the process. The team at Winkworth work as one, as demonstrated by Guy who was the one who communicated our offer to the vendors in John’s absence. During the conveyancing process, the team excelled at liaising with all parties in the chain and Guy was instrumental in ensuring successful completion before Christmas. I am a landlord in the Willesden Green area many years and would like to give a positive review of the superb service I receive from the Winkworth. The team in the Kensal Rise and Queens Park office are always extremely supportive and always on hand to provide guidance especially with the current changes in the private rental sector. This service extends to dealing with any maintenance issues, prompt statement sending and tenant changeover, so basically the whole package for a landlord. I would also like to give a name mention of my main contacts at the office, Aaron, Fabian, Stanislava, Michael and Yanick who are always so pleasant and accommodating to do business with.

Avoid this agency if you value your deposit. The end-of-tenancy process was is a nightmare. They submitted a fraudulent invoice as evidence in a TDS deposit dispute. I contacted the company named on the invoice directly and they confirmed in writing they had never attended the property and the invoice number belonged to a completely different property for a job dated 7 months ago. I reported them for fraud.

Ten days before Xmas I had the onerous task of asking tenants to leave as I had major structural problems in my house but trying to rehouse someone at that time added to my problems. I called into Winkworths to ask the impossible question but was met with welcoming smiles and a solution to my problem. I can recommend the new owners Rob and Abbie and their longstanding member of staff, Tom for all their positiveness and help in what appeared to be an impossible situation, particularly at that time of the year. I've had a really positive experience selling my flat through James and Tom at Winkworth. They have been extremely responsive to all correspondence and as they are the only two in the office I've had immediate access to their extensive knowledge and wealth of experience. There has been no frustration of not being able to speak to the person dealing with my sale because they are both up to speed with every last detail.
