We take all reviews very seriously and are sorry your experience has compelled you to lead a less than perfect review. However, we are genuinely puzzled here as your agent and you personally contacted us to arrange pre-completion access to store items and cut the lawn…. Both requests have been granted with good grace by the vendor, who certainly did not have to , and by ourselves without a trace of difficulty or rudeness.

I can't praise them highly enough, particularly Terry as we didn't have an agent who sold our house so had to continually contact Winkworths instead. They always returned my calls and always kept us up to date with everything throughout. I would very happily sell my house through them next time we sell. Thank you for all your help!

I have had a horrible experience with Maddie Barrington as a tenant.We were presented with a dirty property full of black mold and left to rot with a newborn for two and a half years before eventually having to move out.We faced a sizeable rent increase as well but absolutely no action towards our very serious issue.We have lost thousands of pounds worth of clothes and have had to spend tens of hours emptying our wardrobes in order to wash our clothes again and again.On top of everything we had to pay enormous electricity bills as a result of running several dehumidifiers.Maddie has not been helpful or accommodating.I would recommend to make sure you do not deal with her If you do have to work with wink worth.Edit: In regards to your response, I have put the name of the person there so you should be able to know what office this is. The property is in N1.

Thank you in advance.Additional response:Dear John,I am sorry to hear that you have had cause for complaint regarding Maddie and the management of your property.Having investigated your complaint in detail, I can see that Maddie worked extremely hard to have the matter resolved for you however, approval to proceed with works to rectify the damp issue was never received from the landlord despite numerous requests to proceed. We take damp issues very seriously when reported and will always work with our clients and advise them accordingly to rectify such concerns. Unfortunately, we are not able to instruct such works without approval from a landlord despite our recommendation to do so.Winkworth Highbury & Islington
