My Name is Freddie I am a boxing Coach as well as a Landlord - I was fortunate enough to meet both Sri and Marek within a month of them opening their shop on Green Lanes approximately 20 years ago. I have only ever used one other letting agent since - the quality of service has improved with time - they keep me up to date with current Legislation that Landlords are required to ensure staying the right side fo the Law. they are both so accessible as is Mala who is the true power behind the throne (Always keep on her good side). I was in the unfortunate position of having an empty property during the Corona Virus period - no sooner was the ban lifted the guys got to work the house (5 rooms) were filled with great tenants. Over the years of working with Neptune Homes they have always seemed to get the right tenants for the right property. This shows in the retention rate of the clients/tenants. With an average 5 year stay I’m a happy Landlord. I often just leave them to do there thing and wait for the contract to come through signed. The guys know their clientele (both tenants and landlords) so well that even if dispute arises the are always on hand to help either side and offer sensible advice. A very friendly, professional, slick operationally and well versed company.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Absolutely outstanding people and probably the most honest and helpful estate agent that I have ever been dealing with, they keep their word from day 1 ,sort out issues at the quickest and efficient way possible especially Mr.Marek and Mr.Ray, I would have given 10 out of 10 🌟 for the customer service and value that you will get if you decide to rent with Neptune Homes, we were absolutely happy with their customer service and care and if it comes to rent again, thwy will be the 1st Estate Agents that we will look for ,thanks Neptune Homes and best wishes for you.

Personally the worst estate agents I've ever dealt with. Aside from the deeply unprofessional and aggressive way in which the members of staff often spoke to myself and my flatmates, they took months to respond to our phone calls and emails. Many of the radiators in our flat in Hornsey did not work properly or were entirely broken and were not fixed until the end of our tenancy. Many of the windows did not stay open and also were not sealed properly, meaning the property was often cold during winter - another issue which was not ever dealt with despite us asking on numerous occasions. They refused to deal with pest control upon learning that we had mice in the flat (because we lived above a restaurant). In addition to all of this, a water pipe had burst only 2 months into our tenancy which meant that we were without heating, electricity, and had a large amount of damaged personal belongings due to a massive flood throughout the building. The only thing that the agents did after we fought them on was put us up in a hotel for one night as we couldn't stay in the wet property overnight. The flat smelt of damp for over a month and we had severe water damage all over the property for the rest of our tenancy including the build up of mould over the course of the year. They refused to give us back our deposit at the end of the tenancy also. The worst living experience I've ever had down to incompetent landlords/estate agents. Would never recommend to anyone unless you're desperate and even then I'd sooner recommend living on the streets.

Agent replied · 24 October 2024

Dear Gavin, You rented this flat with us in joint tenancy in Aug 2018 and moved out in Aug 2019. We have searched our inbox various times but during your tenancy, you never contacted us personally until late Aug 2019 when you wrote to us regarding you will be moving out. Other flatmates who always were in touch, we have record of their queries being addressed in appropriate timely manner. You reporting in this comment above that many of the radiators were not working in the flat, we don’t have any record of you reporting this during your tenancy with us. It would've have been helpful to report this matter at that time as we have been carrying out various maintenance issues in the flat when reported. This would've been dealt with too. I must stress on the fact that from the time you moved in till you moved out, we don’t have any complaints from any of the tenants on maintenance matters not been addressed or left pending. Windows don’t stay open: this was reported in Aug 2018 when your tenancy started and our contractor visited multiple times, he showed you how to use the latch to keep the windows up and even explained why the windows don’t open fully as they face the high street. Further to which we didn’t receive any other complaints on this matter. Refusing to deal with pest control is a blatant lie. We have invoices to prove work carried out and completed. Again, after which no further report. One more thing on this matter, your flat was on second floor. there is a first floor flat below yours who never had mice problem. Water pipe burst: you were moved to a hotel on the day of the incident which can happen in any property. This matter were dealt with promptly, we found hotel for you which was walking distance for all of you ( 5mins walk) to ensure minimal inconvenience to you all whilst the leak was dealt with and repaired. You were never left without heating or electricity. We even changed the bed after the leak repair to ensure tenants were comfortable. Even additional heater was provided for your convenience. Mould build up: This is not factual again, as even when you moved out in Aug 2019, there was not mould build anywhere in the flat, neither have any of the tenants reported mould in the flat during their entire stay which was a year. Your deposit return: this was forfeited as you failed to serve the correct notice to move out. This was explained to you all in email on the 06/08/2019. You wrote to us on the 05/08/2019 mentioning you will move out on the 15/08/2019. The notice period which was clearly mentioned in your signed tenancy agreement to be a month. Moreso, one of your flatmate even wrote back to us and acknowledged “Firstly we would like to apologise for not allowing the full specified notice length”. This was clearly understood and acknowledged by your flatmates. Your comment: Would never recommend to anyone unless you're desperate and even then I'd sooner recommend living on the streets- I think it is very contradictory and absurd as you enjoyed the flat for a whole year without raising any complaints at the time of your tenancy. But just to add, You forgot to mention about the antisocial behaviour of the tenants in your flat who brought your friends or guests in the building late night and knocked down the flat door of the flat below yours, leaving the tenants to stay unsafe in their flat overnight until it was reported to us the next day, we sent out the contractor to secure their flat. Wish you all the best!

Best agency ever ! 2 years ago we've rented a whole property in order to share it between my boyfriend and our best friend. What a chance we've had with this agency ! They are our first estate agency in London and I am very glad. I am really sad to have to leave them, we need to save a bit of money so we decided to rent only a room from now on, but if I could rent again with them I totally would ! On my research for a room I found out that not all agency are as professional and as honest as Neptune (sadly, I am too naive) Our main agent was Mala and she was always there for us and was very professional and very fast to respond to our enquiries. In 2 years in our flat she managed to get us new mattresses, a new fridge and washing machine when the old ones where broken etc. she was always on top of her game ! Thank you so much Mala, we will miss you ! Pauline, Tanya and Cedric

Do NOT rent here! SCAM BEHAVIOR! I applied to an apartment and sent them numerous emails checking in with them about the application and they were not responsive at all! Only when I withdrew my application did they finally respond to me. They were acting very odd about my guarantor and sending me a link to an online service for a guarantor because of a typo? I asked them multiple times over email if everything was going well and I only get a response when I withdraw?? They said I could continue with them with my original Guarantor if I restarted the guarantor process with my university, but why would I want to continue with an agency that is so terrible at responding and acting so shady? Not the sort of Landlord I would want! I was approaching less than 4 days until I needed a place badly, I couldn’t risk them ghosting me again! They refuse to refund my holding deposit so I lost $500!

Not a great first impression with this letting agents, arranged at time to view property, 15minutes after arranged time still hadn't turned up, No call up or text to say they were delayed, so I had to phone up the agency to see where he was, got told any minute, 10minutes later he finally shows up! After finally viewing the property, asked a few questions, to which he couldn't answer? What is the point really?? Waste of both our times, let's hope, I have better luck viewing the other property with these guys, but not holding my breath

We have lived in a Neptune homes property for the last 2 and a half years. They were helpful when we moved in, providing the furniture we needed. Across the years whenever we had issues they sent out a handyman to resolve quickly. We have been happy with the service received and would happily rent through them again.

Very poor service. Not possible get help from this company. We are 2 days without hot weather and they don’t responds and don’t give no information when problem will be sorted. The person on the phone is like robot no feelings. The Landlord before had different agency and the problem was sorted in one hour. You guys should have phone for urgent enquirers.

Dear Eric Kaciu, We checked our tenants database and can't find you in our records. All our tenants are provided with emergency phone number ( and also our office phone line is 24x7 phone line we do receive over 100 phone calls a day but overwhelming tenants of ours report all maintenance related issue to one email platform also as required by our tenancy agreement and we have dedicated managers constantly replying and instructing a team of our contractors. First, we would like to identify yourselves and your property. Please email lettings@neptunehomes.london Thanks Dear Eric, after 1 months wait you haven't contacted office. our system easily identifies our tenant names to property address, which would have given us the background on the alleged repair. You are clearly not a registered tenant with us. This is a fake review. Google unfortunately allows all kind of allegation without second level checks.

Possibly one of the rudest estate agents I’ve ever come across. Was ringing to enquire something, The guy on the phone dident even want to listen to my situation. Offering 6 months rent up front followed by a guarantor that is a multiple home owner and he told me they don’t accept guarantors and have to earn over 50,000 a year for a £1650 property. I understand that is the norm but that is what a reliable guarantor is for. Very rude and dismissive guy. Made me feel quite small, dident even offer to keep my details for future properties when my current property is immaculate ive never missed a rent payment and have an outstanding reference from my landlord. Dident even ask me the kind of property I’m looking for. I would avoid this estate agents at all . When I asked if I could briefly explain my circumstances said… ummm go on than.

This is not a professional company thay are failing to matain propertys that thay rent on behalf of landlords leaving the property to fall in to disrepair .. and leaving a awful smell which is affecting other neighbours helth and wellbeing belived to be severe drainage issues... Neptune has disgusting communication and the manner when u do get a response is so rude .. # tenants have rights 😤 next step is to contact national papers if this company will not deal with issues thay take rent so thay should matain property's I'd go as far to say thay are in breach of contract .NegativeProfessionalism

Kelly · 25 October 2021

Agent replied · 24 October 2024

Hi Kelly, first of all you are not our tenant or landlord, neither have you ever contacted us. You only posted the review by following your friend/neighbour who is also not our tenant nor landlord, but is habituated to threaten and harrass others in the hope to get her work done as her own landlord refuses to carry out work for her! Drains often get blocked with dry leaves, which takes few minutes to clear! This doesn't only happen in our property, it happens everywhere!!! Just a word of advice, it doesn't mean if few people get together to tell the same lie, it will turn into truth!!

I only changed my review because they threatened me with legal action. They actually believe that they are great when In fact they are not. No I’m not a tenant but I live next to one of their properties they look after and let’s just say even their tenants are fed up. The smells I’m dealing with because of a blocked drain I’m dealing with because they can’t not be bothered to send anyone. Oh if your reading and threaten me again I will contact my local MP and lawyer because I have a right to freedom of speech

Deniz · 25 October 2021

Agent replied · 24 October 2024

Hi Deniz, we have the whole trail of messages from you of your harrassments to us. Our tenants living next door to you have been living at the property for a minimum of 2-3 years and once they move they still rent from us. As you told us, your own landlord are refusing to do any work in their property for you. Hence finding it easier to harrass and threaten others in the hope to get your work done. Just a reminder as a goodwill gesture, we even got your fences changed at our cost, the same fences which is your landlord's responsibility and they refused to do so for you. Our contractors whenever visited, reported back that you constantly harrassed them with all sorts of name callings/ you would gather other neighbours around to intimidate them and refusing to cooperate whenever needed. Freedom of speech doesn't mean stating false accusations anywhere and anytime you want. If your landlord is refusing to carry out work in their own property, we believe it explains it all!

My parents have lived in a property managed by Neptune Homes for a few years. They were happy with the services. Sometimes it took a bit longer to get a response to some emails but they were always prompt if something needed to be answered urgently. They have a good maintainance team and Mala is always professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend renting with them.

A property I previously rented from them had many issues that they refused to fix. The most alarming one was when a lightswitch caught on fire. An electrician that came round said that the wiring was faulty and he expected this was true of all the wiring. The landlords then refused to pay him and he waited in our flat for about an hour, refusing to leave until he had been paid. A window that opened onto a publicly accessible area did not close (great for the winter), one of our walls had a hole in it that had been papered over and painted in the hopes we wouldn't notice, there was a hole in the floor that had newspapers to try and cover it up, the floors bowed. We contacted them many times trying to get these issues sorted and in the end had to resort to leaving the property, which they then attempted to withhold our deposit for issues we had complained to them about. I am very glad to not have them as my landlords anymore. The worst landlords I've had in my adult life.

Very bad experience with these guys. Was pressured into bringing my moving date forward by three weeks (and paying double rent) and then to do the credit check to then not hear anything for days (despite chasing for the tenancy agreement) and then get a call saying « actually landlord has rented it ». Absolutely awful customer service, would not recommend working with them.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality

Isuri · 25 October 2021

Agent replied · 24 October 2024

Dear Isuri, we regret not being able to rent this flat to you. Just to clarify on the move in date, property was vacant, and landlord(s) are entitled to ask for ASAP move in date. we still managed to negotiate 3 weeks empty period before your agreed move in date, Landlords were not prepared to keep their property vacant another 6 weeks. You as tenant were also entitled to negotiate rent which you did. It is an unfair description that we put pressure, we have to relay the offer choice remained with you. As soon we received your holding deposit, we informed the landlord. Unfortunately, landlady took 2 days to respond she was poorly, and in between her daughter made a commitment with one of their current tenants to move them in. Landlady did offer you one of her larger flat on the same street at 10% discount than the rent she was receiving but you were not interested. I hope in future we get further opportunity from you to rent a property, I assure you next time your experience with us will be delightful which is the case with overwhelming number of our tenants.
