Please be aware of fraud, I was scammed by this agency for holding deposit in excess of £500, the manager is rude and thick skin. The estate manager claim that I should pay for my viewing and waist her time, since when we pay for viewing in UK? Don't trust as I was mislead with information and rushed trough the process, they don't reply to calls and emails after their fraudent practice.

Review of Kings Letting Agency Enfield Town I’m giving Kings Letting Agency only 4 stars instead of 5. We rented our flat in Enfield for a number of years and found the agent able to achieve a decent rent, found traders when we needed repairs, sorted out the gas inspections and generally looked after the invoicing & documentation to an acceptable level. There are 2 things that let them down after we decided to sell the flat for reasons not associated with Kings. We had agreed a refund arrangement of the tenancy agreement set-up costs with Kings if/when the tenant moved out of the flat before the expiry of their years contract to buy their own home. We had agreed this with the tenant & Kings before the beginning of their tenancy. There was some unseemly retraction of this arrangement, when we came to sell the flat, until Kings realised that we had an e-mail from them, agreeing to this. Also, the tenants left some rubbish and we claimed the cost of a removal company to take it away. It took Kings 2 months to get our money back from TDS, despite paying for the removal ourselves and repeated requests for a payment out of the tenant’s deposit.

My experience was nothing short of amazing, insightful and life changing. As a first time home buyer, Junaid was full of help from the second we spoke. Didn't turn up to an arranged viewing, didn't communicate after to apologise or re-arrange, despite me emailing the agent who failed to turn up. Even better, I thought let's give this a go again, attempted to arrange another viewing for another property and still waiting 3 days later for a call back to arrange a viewing. You would think you know your access arrangements when putting a property on the market or at least ring back to let people know with 3 working days. Beyond this, if you do complain and ask for the name of the member of staff your speaking with, they lie and tell you a different name. Says it all really.

Our point of contact is Joe and he’s been great - really responsive, remembers our criteria (what we like, what we don’t like, comments we’ve given on earlier properties), and is knowledgable about the properties he’s done viewings on which makes such a difference. He’s friendly and goes the extra mile They make the process seem easier - flexible with viewings and offer additional services like putting you in contact with their mortgage brokers without going in with the hard sell which can be off putting as a buyer. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to find the right property for you.

Lack of communication and failure to act on repairs

As a tenant, I have had the worst experience with Kings. Their customer service is poor, their communication is terrible and as a letting agent they are almost entirely incompetent. From the start of the process, they didn’t even know if they had received my deposit or not which is quite concerning when you’re trusting them with a large amount of your money. Due to this, I specifically asked for an invoice for my rent each month which has yet to appear despite being in the property for four months. Repairs that were reported months ago still haven’t been fixed, and you can only expect to get any information about what’s going on if you are the one to chase it up and send emails. Beyond that you won’t hear from your property manager unless they need something from you or think you are in the wrong. At that point you can expect a generic email template in a different colour and font than the rest of the email, which will be spelt incorrectly and half the time not really make any sense. I was left with no working toilet in the property for ten days due to the incompetence and lack of attention of Kings. They then tried to put the blame onto me for not reporting it despite me having done so. It’s been extremely disappointing that they can’t take responsibility for this failure. The experience I have had with Kings will make me move out of the property at the earliest possible time just to avoid having to work with them again. Do not rent with Kings if you want anything done!!

First of all, I would like to know how much they pay people to give them 5 stars reviews, we bought a property from this agency, everything was going smoothly until it came to closer to completion. Neil, sales manager from the Tottenham & Haringey branch started putting pressure on us to complete within a set period of time which is fair, but the problem was his attitude and rudeness towards his customers. He has a lack of professionalism and manners. He even called seller a compulsive liar in different opportunities to be able to shake off the responsibility of his office miscommunication. Just before exchanging contracts, Neil would not return calls and that is the reason why the transaction was delayed and to make things worse, when the transaction was completed and went to collect keys, my client realised that the seller had just had COVID and had informed the agency to pass the message on to us which never happened, putting us at risk by being in the house without taking the necessary precautions. Additionally, they did not carry out due diligence and after completion, he started pestering my client about submitting additional documentation because Kings Group had failed to do their work correctly and properly from the very beginning.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

My praise for Kings Group is entirely down to Junaid. He hit the nail on the head with the properties he showed my partner and I. So much so that we had an offer in only after 3 viewings. Once the offer was in, he was responsive, got information over to us in a flash and so far his recommendation for a conveyancer seems as good as the rest of his service.
