I have 5 properties in Basingstoke and Gascoigne Pees are the third agent I have had, being with them now for a number of years. They are by far the best of those three agents in my experience. Tenants are found quickly so that I have few voids, maintenance issues are professionally handled and any problem tenants dealt with efficiently. Documentation is excellent and although some accountancy errors have been made, they have been corrected as soon as they were pointed out. I shall continue to use them.

My account wasn’t handled professionally. I had to chase several team members, to rectify accounting issues and contractual mistakes. To the point where I had to formally complain to be heard. Eventually decided to leave the property for and still my account still not handled correctly. Because of these mistakes I had to wait while for my deposit to be returned. Despite me sending evidence from the first week they took over my property. Overall experience was horrible and extremely stressful. From my personal experience, I would recommend you avoid at all cost if possible

Excellent estate agents. Instructed Gascoigne Pees (Worcester Park branch) on both a house purchase and house sale. The team went over and beyond throughout the whole process. Worst organised letting company

Worst organised letting company. I have several properties that I use letting agents to manage. By far, Gascoigne-Pees are the worst. They charge for everything despite me paying for full managed property they make additional charges for anything they do. They consistently fail to do anything that they say they will do. Their different departments don't communicate with each other. They give letting/estate agents a bad name.

Deposit: I rented an apartment for over 1.5 years (small studio flat), I got it dirty, including the tools left in it, the walls were unpainted, full of dust and paint smeared on door frames, doors, etc. I gave away the apartment, which was very clean and practically ready for rent. For this, my deposit was charged with enormous amounts that are far from reality. The cost of painting was £600, cleaning £180 etc. for a studio flat which was beautifully cleaned. Even on the report they could not distinguish the pink cube in the water in the toilet that cleans from the scale in the water from the scale in the water. I consider it extortion and fraud. Unprofessional team and lack of trust in this company including the deposit management company.
