Lancaster Park plot 89…

My son and his girlfriend have recently purchased plot 89 and Crest Nicholson Lancaster Park development at West Malling Kent. From what we can see the homes are built to a very good standard and have many upgrades available to personalise your new home. Elle Rodgerson the sales executive on site couldn’t have been more charming and efficient. From our first meeting she has been very attentive and has very professionally guided my son and his girlfriend through the process. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Crest Nicholson and especially Elle to anyone interested in a new home. We are all now eagerly awaiting for the day Matthew and Lucy can pick up the keys to their new Crest Nicholson home and hope Elle will be available to join us on the patio for a glass of bubbles or two!Stuart Coleman.

Our experience with Crest Nicholson

In general our initial experience of buying a property from Chrest Nicholson’s development at Manor Park was pretty good.Sales staff were helpful and courteous. All queries from our side were adequately answered and upto the point of handover all was well. However,their after sale service in respect of addressing the various defects and repairs was very poor. It took us months after months of complaints and followups but the repairs were done only in bits and pieces.This was frustrating.. Finally the remaining issues were resolved two years after we moved into the property thanks to Mr Robert Harding. We would strongly recommend the company to improve their after sales service. This should improve their reputation as one of the largest builders in the country.

Cut Above the rest!

Lucy at Wycke Place Maldon was very helpful, professional and really knowledgeable on all aspects. The buying process was made easy and we was informed with step by step information from start to finish. Crest Nicholson you are lucky to have someone like Lucy who really makes you feel welcome, not like some of the competitor sites we have been looking on. I just hope the build and finish has the same quality when we move into the property soon.

Tadpole garden village is still far…

Tadpole garden village is still far from completed after more than a decade and last year we got together and reviewed Crest as awful. Guess what we started to see action. A year on we are still having problems and the area is still a mess. Roads not finished. Verges a mess. While I’m on the subject why has no one sorted out the problem on Lalique Close where once again we are fighting to have the communal green cut. Every year, same problem. Sort it out please.

This will be the second time we have purchased a new build property through Crest Nicholson in the Berkshire area.This review relates to the Arborfield Green development and the service from Carly, Natalie and Lauren, which has been exceptional.Particularly Carly and Natalie, having helped us achieve what we were asking for. They helped us achieve our first move and have now made it possible for our second move, when our options looked bleak.These ladies have been the absolute best, we couldn't have asked for anymore from them. Janet booked us in for an appointment…

Janet booked us in for an appointment on a Sunday. Sophie was most helpful. Happy to show us around various plots on site, including one of our house type under construction - this was helpful in determining room sizes & layout. I was a bit concerned about the size of the master bedroom with a built in wardrobe looming over the bed, Sophie explained that because the house wasn’t built yet we could ask for it not to be put in & possibly resite it to another room. She was full of helpful advice & good suggestions. We agreed to go through the ‘smooth move’ process. We’ve know sold and reserved our plot. Sophie came in early to minimise the time we needed to be in the office as we were required elsewhere in the country. We have been told we can call in the sales office at any time. Both Janet & Sophie have been helpful.

This company is terrible.

This company is terrible. I bought a house on October 2022. There were leaking in 2 out of 3 bathrooms. The water was pouring down to my Kitchen on the first day I move in. No insulation was installed on the top floor. The house is freezing cold this winter. Reported the issue but still nobody comes and fix it until now (5 months). Filed a complaint for 20 days but not even one email reply. Do not buy house from Crest Nicholson. 5 stars is a joke.

Lucy at Wycke Place development in Maldon was exceptional in everything she has done for us to facilitate our move to the site. A fantastic rep for Crest & really informative / knowledgeable. She was able to answer all of our questions, or source answers from head office quickly & always got back to us to check in with our thoughts about the house we chose to purchase. Sales team at Fernhurst Camberley were and still are great…..But the two words, customer and service shouldn’t really be in the same sentence when it comes to aftercare. Constantly being ignored or fobbed off for the last year. A pleasant experience - no pressure at all!

We reserved a plot at Grange Meadows, Cannington, Somerset, and the staff could not have been more helpful. We ended up with a very long visit, as we completed all the paperwork, made our options choices, viewed the showhome, looked at completed property, basically did everything needed and more. At no time did we feel under pressure, and Julie was pleasant, helpful and sociable the whole time despite us taking up almost the whole of her day. Downside? Not able to have copies of plans and drawings :-)

Disgusting treatment

Please think carefully before purchasing from Crest Nicholson. Customer service is atrocious, I don’t know how you can get paid for not doing your job. I’ve had to call up every other day as I’ve needed my cabinets changed and plumbing fixed due to my kitchen flooding because the job hadn’t been completed properly in the first place. I’ve been given no solution to my problem, I’ve just been passed on to the next person, now my phone calls are not getting picked up. Ridiculous. It’s been a month and I’ve been back and forth with them with no outcomes. This has been ongoing from the moment I decided to buy my apartment. There is no sense of responsibility on their end. You’d think being respectful towards people in this day and age would work to solve a problem but clearly I can’t be nice to people that just don’t care.

Faultless customer service...

Myself and my partner decided to go and have a look at the properties on Union Place at Monksmoor Park over the weekend and were over the moon with the customer service we have received so far. Becky and Anita were immediately warm and friendly when we arrived and were really knowledgeable.I liked there were no hard selling tactics and everything was done at your own pace (though it only took us 24 hours to decide to reserve a property as they are so nice!)I would already highly recommend Crest Nicholson based on Becky alone, and, though there are only a few properties left on the whole Union Place development, the customer service has so far been faultless.
