Absolutely would not recommend renting through Farringdon branch. Letting agent does not care about anything including regulations, and will tell you to pay 6 months upfront before even writing up a contract. Will also selectively air your questions if she so pleases, and then blame you for not being quick enough when she springs it on you. I understand that it is a stressful market but the manner that things were dealt with cannot be justified, especially coming from a sales agent.

Profoundly dishonest. I wanted to break my lease. They agreed verbally. Months later, when all preparations had been made and when I was due to move out within days, they sent me a document in legalese saying that they had *now* received instructions from their client and were prepared to process a contract release *on condition* that I paid them £3,000+ in liquidated damages first - while they continued to hold my deposit. Of course, I refused to pay and there wasn’t much they could do about it. But it added a lot of unnecessary stress to what should have been a smooth and easy process. Estate agents. I have been a tenant and a landlord and I have seen the process from both sides. My experience is that if there is an opportunity to stiff the tenant - who is usually the party with less power - they will take it. My experience with KFH showed me that they are no different, despite the high ratings on this site.

Facebookshame, they filled out my lease extension form wrong , and now land registry will not accept it, have contacted them numerous times , so has solicitor, and no response, so now i have a lease thats not worth the paper its written on, person dealing with it has left the company, and no reply from new team member, will complain to directors, this has been going on for over a year now, very shoddy , and a disgrace to the industry .

GooglePeter has been of tremendous help with finding the most suitable house for my flatmates and me. He helped us overcome all minor obstacles and was very transparent throughout the whole process. Meaghan has also been very quick with responding to all inquiries we had. She also kept a high level of transparency and made paperwork easy. Both are very customer oriented which resulted in an overall very positive experience.

They rented a flat for us, and they achieved a higher rental income pcm than the other agents estimate. Had it occupied very quickly and efficiently. One thing though. We lost all of that additional rental income in fees to KFH.

I applied for a mortagage on April 10th 2024 to Nationwide. This company requested a valuation to the unprofessional and irresponsible surveyors from Kinleigh, Folkard & Hayward (KFH). These so-called professional surveyors conducted an inspection on April 22nd. After more than a month they failed to deliver the report and refuse to provide any explanation as to what is going on. They give updates every 2-3 weeks usually requesting for unnecessary documents such as whether the flat has a balcony and this has to be provided using a specific format and signed by a specific person. Impossible to get and unnecessary as they did an inspection. I am about to lose the transaction as the seller wants to withdraw because of KFH. Thanks so much! It is hard to overstate how brilliant Oliver and Shaun at KFH Highgate have been throughout the whole process of listing our property to completion. At every stage of the process, Oliver and Shaun, and all the staff at KFH Highgate, made a significant amount of time for us and helped us through what is a typically an incredibly stressful process. Regular communication with Oliver, typically initiated by him, made this stress almost non-existent. When we were eventually under offer, Oliver recommended a service to help find a solicitor for us; both this service and our subsequent solicitor have also been excellent and we will continue to use the solicitor for our onward purchase. We have had very mixed experiences with estate agents in the past; KFH stands alone in the great care and respect that they have treated us with and made the whole experience of selling a property as exciting as it should be. I have recommended them to many people in the area who are thinking of selling and I will continue to do so.
