The Ealing branch of this pedestrian agency is arguably the worst agency of anywhere in the land. The director takes all comments s though they were a personal assault on herself, and quickly slides into sulking-teenage-girl mode if everything doesn't go her way. To enquire about any property (just an enquiry) you need to endure a forensic analysis of your financial situation and they will then proceed to inundate you with details of properties in areas in which you wouldn't dream of living.

Kfh worked as a team to sell my mother’s flat. We were pleased with the solicitor that they recommended. Unfortunately we had to wait for probate and hadn’t realized the process would be long and drawn out as it was. The only drawback was that we put it on the market too soon. I would have been pleased for advice that we should wait for several months as it incurred further unnecessary cost for us due to the flat management fees when potential purchasers dropped out without notice, due to the length of time probate was taking.

Absolutely terrible building management company. I’ve lived in a building for 12 months managed by this company. During our time here, one of the lifts was broken for 10 months. Despite numerous complaints, nothing was done to rectify this issue. Finally they repaired the broken lift, we have 2 working lift for 3 days before they shut down the alternate lift. So once again, we’re back to one lift. Of which, you cannot call it from the ground floor as the button on the ground floor has been broken for 2 weeks now. Once again, this has been reported numerous times. Additionally, I reported a total security door failure on an entire floor which took them 6 weeks to even call me back to ask which floor it was… we’ve had one of the main security gate open for 3+ months which has coincided with parcels being stolen. The company’s solution, leave the broken gate, and install security cameras - but not where the parcels are stolen from… honestly for a company with a 45 year history I’m beginning to question how you’ve made it this long.

There were some complicated aspects with the property being probate and previously shared ownership, but Hannah’s patient and transparent approach really helped the process of agreeing a price and navigating the sale! Would definitely recommend.

We dealt with Colin Gillibrand throughout the turn over from one tenant to a new tenant. Colin was always readily available to discuss our various matter and was helpful throughout.One small criticism would be, when a matter was being dealt by the head office of KFH. They do not know us and are bureaucratic and therefore very impersonal. We wish the whole process could be dealt by the local office.

Never again renting a house from these agents. The changed our move in date they day that we were supposed to move in without giving us an option and we had just landed from abroad! Leaving us homeless! The house had mice and they didn’t do anything about it and our landlord was replying to us. THEY RENTED US A HOUSE FULL OF MICE!! We had several issues with the landlord and they didn’t seem to care. The agent disappeared the day before we moved in and we had to chase down their manager!

In 30+ years, by far the worst Agency I have ever come across or used. I would strongly advise to use another local Estate Agent. I have just wasted 4 months "buying" a house with KFH Battersea SW11, on the agreement that I use KFH to sell my house, as we had not planned to sell or move and was not even on the market! We were explicit on several occasions, that we would only sell for that house, due to health and disability. Ed Hocken 'Director' wrote that the Vendors had given us 12 weeks exclusivity. I had to advise about the order of the photos, wording on the brochure and on the very rare case of a viewing (approx only 6 in 4 months), the inexperienced Agents would walk around silently, not selling or highlighting any features or benefits which at the time I thought unusual. I even reduced by £350k to get viewers through the door, but none came and every other house around, went under offer or sold. I kept asking about the Vendors and if they had concerns. We were continually reassured right up to 2 days before passing the house (with my family with disabilities) to find that a family were living there. When I emailed on the next working day, Ed admitted that the house had already been sold. As it takes 3-6 months to buy, clearly they had gone with the other interested party that Ed told me about (claiming that were instead supposedly buying something else with them) from the beginning. The very young Director, even passed on his 'sincere'condolences regarding my parental loss, whilst secretly at the final stages of Completion. Of course, Ed will and does continue to deny any of the above and make up even further lies to cover the deception. We are not naive and understand Agents may need to 'withhold the truth' sometimes and have a back up plan prior to exchange. However to be told that the market should be better the following week (by the 'Senior' young Agent Michael) and then 2 days later see people actually living in the house, is by far the most callous, ruthlesss and cruel treatment to endure. I remain astounded and shocked. I RECOMMEND TO AT LEAST AVOID THIS BRANCH, IF NOT KFH as a whole if this is the way they do Business.

My wife and I had a great experience with KFH during our process of buying a home. From the beginning, Sawan, Sharon and Ravi, were very helpful and professional and provided a lot of advice. As first-time buyer and foreigner (French) it is not always easy to understand the whole process and the information provided was very welcome. We had a great experience, super services provided, and we were more than happy to work with them. We will definitely recommend the Team, and will continue to work with them for future remortgage.
