GoogleAnn has been so helpful with the first time I’ve move out. She always checks up on me and my boyfriend to make sure everything is okay and she is really easy to talk to and very friendly if anything has gone wrong. My experience with Ann makes me reassured that igloo has my best interest at heart and helps me with any issues. Would always recommend Ann with anyone who is going with igloo for there properties or if they are renting as she is so helpful!

GoogleI recently sold my previous property at very short notice and was on the look out for somewhere to move. Igloo had a great portfolio of properties for me to look at. From the first viewing to moving in, the service my wife and I have received from Igloo has been second to none and they have been a great help as we have identified issues when moving in. Julie has been a great help to us and I would not hesitate to use Igloo in the future.

GoogleStacey was very professional. From entering the home she put my elderly aunt and uncle at ease. She had a very nice manner and was very considerate of their needs and individual situation. The pictures stacey took of the home were very professional, she managed to obtain superb pictures with very little disruption to my aunt and uncle. Working with Stacey the overall process of selling the house was stress free and given her input I would definitely recommend.

GoogleI cannot recommend this company highly enough. I had a large property and the most expensive in the area to sell. It was not in "ready for sale" condition and I knew it would be a challenge so I took my time choosing who to go with. All my money was tied up in this property so a good sale really mattered to me and my children's future. I am a business consultant by trade so I know how to do research into companies and I took this important decision very seriously. Igloo was actually the cheapest offer on the market at the time and if anything I might have been put off by that but I looked at their stats. Their sales in the local area over the last few years have been the best of any local and national company. Their "above home report" figures and the speed at which properties sell with them were also better than others I compared with which implied to me they were better at generating a buzz and getting multiple offers. For someone whose property would probably sell to a local buyer choosing them was clearly a no-brainer but, because my property was such a one-off I needed to be able to access a wider market, -developers and people from far afield so I was still undecided. I invited a couple of agents to the property and Peter from Igloo stood out for his ability to understand the approach required and his straight speaking advice. Of course we all love our homes and think they're wonderful so criticism is hard to take but I did get the impression that some other agents were more focused on fixing a low asking price to achieve an easy sale than actually getting a good price for me. I was not worried about that with Igloo. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful whenever I phoned but that is, of course, often the case when a company wants your business. With Igloo that enthusiasm and energy stayed exactly the same after I'd signed up. The photographer was out straight away, pictures online and their formidable and exceptional social media machine went into overdrive to get images of my house out and about for people to see. Viewings came thick and fast with notifications by text and Peter phoned weekly with updates. Because of the way my work was set up I always missed their calls and had to call back which meant, over the time I probably called the office from an unknown number around 40 times before my sale was completed. On every single occasion bar non the phone was answered professionally enthusiastically and politely by someone who genuinely seemed keen to help. That is a rare and precious thing and something that I believe is SO important. I know myself I’ve phoned with a vague enquiry about a property I’ve seen and an unhelpful agent has meant I haven’t bothered going to see it. I am absolutely confident that doesn’t happen with Igloo. Every time I phoned I could have been anyone and yet I was always treated so well. People talk about a property needing curb appeal. In fact my property didn’t really have it but Craig and his team in the office were my property’s curb appeal and I believe they got me my viewers and my sale. The team managed things superbly. When I received an offer, and was tempted, it was Craig who talked me through the options of going to closing date in the hope of a higher offer, even though that would mean extra work for him and, unlike other companies, no extra commission. They eventually got me, among others, two notes of interest from people working outside the country which showed me how important their online presence was. Throughout the process they advised but didn’t brow-beat. I felt looked after by professionals yet in control. If you’re thinking of using Igloo I’d recommend giving them a ring. Due to my job I don’t write reviews as a rule but Igloo more than warrant this exception. Good luck with your house sale. Reece initially came to value my flat and I was impressed by how prepared he came with a list of other similar properties that had been sold in the area (both high and low) and explained his rational for pricing. Linda was brilliant from the start even going as far as to arrange a key drop so that they had the keys in time for first viewings - I was kept up to date with offers and she got me the price that I was looking for, guiding me through every step of the way. GoogleI recently sold my property througg Igloo with the help of my estate agent, Reece. Reece made the whole process incredibly streamlined from promptly arriving at my flat on Tuesday afternoon to take the photographs and dimensions and he had my flat up live online and on the market for 5pm on Tuesday evening. I had received and accepted an offer on my property in under 1 week. Reece is professional, really friendly and easy to work with and get it contact with. He helped to put my mind at ease throughout times where I was feeling a little anxious during the process. I spoke to several staff members throughout this process and they all had access to my notes so I always got answers/responses when I called. They’re so friendly (I felt like Linda was my best pal by the end!), organised and everything was done super fast. My photos were taken on the Friday, house listed on the Wednesday night, tons of viewings on the Thursday, bids by the Friday, and sold on the Monday for a great price. Done and dusted in a week. Linda was so helpful and friendly when I initially called and remembered me from when I bought my property 4 years ago. Peter then came out to give me a valuation who was very professional and helpful and we decided then to put the property up on the market. Peter came out and took our photographs and arranged the home report. It was a seamless process and I didn't need to do any work. The property was up on the market on the Friday and sold on the Monday, thank you Igloo! GoogleStaff rude and ineffectual. If, for some reason, you choose to use this firm, get a friend to phone and 'test' them. We're still waiting for calls to be returned. When challenged, they blamed someone who wasn't there anymore. Very convenient! The accounts department is also hopeless. Avoid! I note the response from the owner, further evidence of their lack of organisation that they can't find the file, they could however check their email for our communications if they cared to.

GoogleStacey gave a completely accurate valuation of our property. The photos, marketing and communication were all excellent. The office staff were always pleasant and helpful. Alan Barbour in particular was good at explaining procedures and next steps. This was all done at a fixed price which was excellent value for money. We have no hesitation in recommending Igloo at Hamilton. We actually look forward to being able to use their services again.
