GoogleIf I could give them 0 stars I would. I have had nothing but trouble with my tenancy. From the very first day I arrived it was filthy. The living room window was broken and they never fixed it despite multiple promises. The toilet seat had been left open so they did bother to note the skid marks in the inventory (yes, really) but everything closed away was left off. The cupboards were black with filth and hair and old bugs. Everything took weeks to clean in the kitchen. So greasy and sticky, so disgusting. The ceiling was crumbling away in my son's room. Large chunks were falling down there was a four inch hole in the ceiling. The electrics shorted out after a heavy rain as there was a huge leak through the chimney. The water was pouring out though the light fittings. This again, in my son's room meaning I had to move him until they bothered to sort that out which took weeks. The mattress was destroyed from the leaking ceiling. The bathroom shower fixture was on a plain untiled wall. They didn't even use bathroom paint. The bath surround had a one inch gap which then started leaking into the ground floor. When the plumber showed up I explained that the wall would get damaged as had no tiles and a dado rail directly under the shower head. He laughed and said we'd be seeing him again. When the dado rail did get water damage they said this was tenant damage. This is just a brief history of their failings. We left the house 6 weeks early and paid for two rents as it was uninhabitable.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleHorrible heartless staff. Increased my rent by an obscene amout which has now made me homeless as they wanted to put in someone else on higher rent.
Good afternoon John, We're very sorry to hear that you feel this way and regret that your experience has caused such distress. We understand how upsetting it can be when rent increases place added pressure on already difficult circumstances. We’d like to clarify that the decision regarding rent was based on discussions with the landlord, who has tried to keep the property below current market levels. Even with the recent adjustment, the rent remains lower than comparable properties in the area. At no point have we issued notice to vacate or indicated that another tenant would be moving in. We’ve reached out several times over the past few months in the hope of working together on a solution and are still very much open to that. GoogleThis team is lovely, welcoming and supportive, who greeted us every day with a warm smile and are genuinely interested in who you are. They were honest about what was possible, the options that were or were not available, and respected our personal lives throughout the tenancy. If I hadn't had to move away for work, I would happily use their expertise again! Our two main contacts were Jamie and Beth, both who were so kind, but the rest of the team were always attentive too and an absolute pleasure to talk to. Couldn't recommend them more if you're renting in Halifax.

GoogleI had Beth Wildman that been very useful for my case in getting a flat, she has been very efficient, very friendly and cheerful and always gave me other options when I struggled to help me in the long run and I really appreciate the service from her, but there were some things that have struggled on when getting to the property and having no clue where the meter is, I got there in the end and found it on the other side of property and there were some things that they didn’t know about the property and just lack of information but that could be improved easily, but other than that she gave me some great efficient and friendly customer service.
