I recently purchased a repossessed property through Reed Rains and the experience was genuinely excellent from start to finish. Buying a property can be stressful and there were times during the process when I felt overwhelmed and needed reassurance. On several occasions I called the office for guidance and every time, I was spoken to with professionalism, patience and genuine respect. Jamie in particular showed great patience and understanding, taking the time to explain things clearly and calmly whenever I needed support. I would also like to recognise Jack, Jamie, Vicky and Sarah. Each of them played an important role throughout the process and together they provided an exceptional level of service. They were consistently supportive, attentive and proactive, often going out of their way to help and ensure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. Although we haven't used Reeds Rains directly ourselves, they're the estate agents our seller has been using. Matt, Vicky and the team at Reed Rains have been absolutely fantastic to work with for my first rental property. Matt especially has been very patient as due to extra building works the process took longer than hoped but he has been extremely supportive from start to finish. Trade people recommended through them have been very professional and got the jobs done quickly and to a high standard. Vicky was very good at communicating the process and the progression with the tenants and they were found quickly once the house was ready to go. I didn't use Reeds Rains to sell my home, however Reeds Rains were the estate agent for the property I was buying. I was very impressed with their pro active way of working. They would call all parties involved to speed things up and sort out any issues promptly. They were much better than my own estate agents that just sent emails if I asked them to do anything. If I sell again, I would go with Reeds Rains. The manager Jamie Kennerdale from the Halifax branch was amazing.

Probably great to sell with traditionally but do not let these guys talk you into selling at auction which they will likely do if your property is under 200k as they receive much more commission We weren't considering auction but it was talked up so much on the initial valuation meeting that we decided to go with it. We were told "this house will sell and sell fast". And that they had multiple auction buyers interested in the area. We received zero bids and in the end had to settle for 15 grand (12%) below our house valuation (independently agreed by three other agents) to get rid of it. And to a mortgaged buyer who only agreed with caveats that he could pull out of there were any issues anyway - rendering the "benefits" of auction pretty moot In their defence, the work they did do was fast and efficient and I'm sure selling traditionally with them would be great. the first viewing did come along within a day of posting the add (which voids the cancellation period but there you go)

Called to book at viewing on a property in bd6, I told the lady we wouldnt need to view as we have a friend living in the same kinda property, could we apply. I totally understand the policy is the tenant must view! So when I asked for anything after 2.30 due to work commitments, she offered 12.45 today! I told her we couldn't do that time because I was at work! Her response was well that's all we have and can't be expected to travel to Bradford for 1 viewing and wouldn't offer any other. Obviously when they were selling the service to the landlord I bet they didn't say that! Disgusting response from the member of staff and think she needs re training in customer service. 🙄 Edited.... I would just like to say a big thank you to James the manager of the branch for the service he provided today.
