I just was on a call with a lady in rental, and she just refused service to a service dog for disability. This is ground for discrimination and is illegal. I did point this out to her but she insisted that this is legal. I tried to explain that discrimination against disability is like discrimination against race , but she shouted at me that the landlord himself is black and she disagrees with me. It seems that their staff have zero training for service animals.This is just a note that this will be reported to the police and the council and the redressing scheme. They also didn't respond to my email complaint. From the review you can see how they refuse to accept responsibility, distort the truth and deny bad behaviour or discrimination. He actually called me to ask me why I’m not on benefit, what accommodation do I currently live in and that I have the wrong type of dog! So you can see how inappropriate and unprofessional their behaviour is. Stay away these people have anger issues, discriminatory attitudes and if I had the patience to follow up with my police report would have been found guilty. But TBH the property was mediocre anyway to push for a viewing. But you can see from their responses how unprofessional they are. Yeah, I wouldn’t be seeking any viewing from this unsafe bunch of unprofessional a anyway. Please do not send women and young girls alone. This could easily escalate.
Hi Sara, we are sorry that you have felt the need to leave a negative review. I as the business owner have listened to the call recording. My staff member who took your call did not shout or raise their voice with you. You were asked some general questions which we would ask all potential viewers however you became very irrate & mentioned about discriminating about people from different ethnic backgrounds which of course we don't & we were not sure what it had to do with the context of our questions. You mentioned you had a service pet which were not familiar with that term. I think that because you have called up with an aggressive attitude we have deemed it appropriate not to offer you a viewing. I called you to understand what the issue had been when you had contacted us & very quickly I could see that you were very aggressive, shouting & not letting us speak. Certainly you would not be offered a property with ourselves. We pride ourselves on offering a fantastic service & the majority of our clients come to us from recommendations having seen positive reviews. I think people will see your negative review & understand that this is an isolated incident & because you haven't managed to get a property with us you feel it neccessary to shout & scream at our office staff. We certainly don't put up with this type of behaviour. All our staff apart from myself are women so im not sure what your comment means? I think you should maybe just move on now. We wish you all the best with your property search

When I moved in I had a welcome package which was a nice touch and I was always able to get in touch if I had any issues. The staff are easy to get along with and informative all the way until Mt tenecy ended.

Googleit's been 25 years since I had my last home and obviously the market etc has changed dramatically. all the staff at protheroe are so professional at what they do. I would highly recommend anyone to use there services as I felt at ease and relaxed.
