I live in Australia and was dreading selling my property in Birmingham, as I thought it would be a nightmare trying to sell from the other side of the world. I would honestly recommend Ashley to anyone buying/selling a property. We were first time buyers with no real knowledge of what we were doing. Ashley was always there if we had a question and replied very quickly. He was there for us as buyers and supported us all the way through. He gave us weekly updates on how the process was going and was aware of what was happening with the purchase all the way through. He made the whole process stress free. He is a very warm and genuine person, and he even popped in on the day we got our keys and gave us some moving in gifts! Any words I write will not do Ashley justice. I am so grateful to have been able to be guided by Ashley Would. Buying a first property was always going to be a scary (but exciting) process. We had our house on the market with a local well known estate agents for a while and barely got any interest. The odd viewing here and there, all of which we had to do ourselves. We didn't feel like we were getting anywhere with them so decided to take it off the market for a bit. Then comes along Ashley. We met Ashley back before he started off in December 2020 and had a really good chat about things, safe to say myself and my husband were very impressed. Fast forward a few months and we decided it was the right time to re-list our property. We knew we wanted Ashley to market our property as his approach just felt right. He is super professional and knows exactly what he is doing. He went above and beyond to sell our house - he even had a professional videographer come round to do a video of the house and surrounding area. Within a few days, the house was listed and he managed to book in 3 times as many viewings in the first few days of it being on the market than we had when it was with the previous estate agents. From the minute I met Ashley I knew he would sell my home and do everything he promised which he did and more as I bought from him as well. Ashley’s service was amazing, he was always available and responsive, and was with us from start to finish, going above and beyond to get our house sale/purchase completed prior to stamp duty coming back in to effect. Ashley asked what I wanted from an estate agent when I first met him and my answer was honesty and responsiveness, with previous sales it was hit and miss if you could actually get to speak with someone and after accepting an offer you were on your own chasing solicitors, not with Ashley he would check in on a weekly basis and chase solicitors on your behalf and made the process so much easier. He delivered on everything he said he would! We decided to sell our property with Ashley Would as from our very first meeting we found him to be professional, knowledgeable and he treated us as clients and not just another property to sell that we felt we would be with the larger estate agent chains. His marketing photographs and video really showed our home off to its full potential, so much so that 3 hours after going live on the property websites Ashley had booked 20 viewings for the Friday. We were lucky that we received several offers from these viewings and had sold our property in less than one week. The best part of having Ashley as our estate agent was his weekly updates on the sales progression, he also answered any questions or concerns we had promptly. I only wish that the house we bought was sold by him as it would have been a lot less stressful but alas we were moving out of area. Recent circumstances mean that we have moved twice within the last year. Our first sale was using a high street estate agent, who although competent, often left us without updates and unclear on the how the sale was progressing. We were unsure which agent to use the second time, and while viewing a property Ashley was marketing, discussions led to him offering to do a valuation for us. Initially we were impressed with his enthusiasm and knowledge and decided to go ahead and list our property with him. Very quickly we had viewings and agreed a sale. The service we received after we agreed the sale was exceptional, and was on another level to the high street agent we used previously. We had weekly updates from Ashley (even if we were waiting on solicitors and there was nothing to report that week, he still checked in with us) The weekly updates were very reassuring and something the high street agent didn't provide, so I found I was always calling them chasing for updates. Ashley went above and beyond to ensure that completion day happened on the day we requested, and he was very helpful throughout the whole process. Comparing Ashley to the high street agent, Ashley did indeed provide a personal service, and the whole service was more personal and efficient. Although I don't plan on moving house EVER AGAIN, so won't need Ashley's services in the future, I would strongly recommend him to anyone who is keen to sell their house. I honestly cannot think of a negative about the service we received. We wish Ashley every success for the future and are sure his work ethic will result in a trail of happy customers. I'm also a pleased to have supported a small local business, and will continue follow his success and keep in touch on social media.

We first contacted Ashley after seeing his Facebook page and realising this would be the guy to sell our house! After previously being on the market with a high street agent with no sale we had decided to wait…. After meeting Ashley we didn’t wait very long! Ashley’s marketing is second to none, the photos, write up and video were amazing- the total opposite to the other agents! Within 3 days we had accepted an over asking price offer!!! The sale of our house was very smooth and the communication between Ashley and the solicitors at Jordan’s was perfect. We were a team and all knew exactly what was going on each step of the way. Unfortunately our house purchase hasn’t been as smooth but even though Ashley wasn’t selling that house he still supported us and gave us his very valuable advice. Ashley met with me and my wife was very professional but also relaxed was very knowledgeable about the area where the house was, the housing market and the cost of putting an extention onto the property we were viewing. Ashley was very truthful with us regarding the amount of viewings he had on the property but he was never pushy at any point, which me and my wife really appreciated.
