GoogleI've been renting with Angela Marden for around 18 months now (I've been meaning to leave a review ever since but my memory got the better of me!) All I can say is they are AMAZING from Angela, to the people that work with her, to the landlord. When I say they care more about the people than they do anything else I mean nothing less. Angela and my landlord took a chance on us and I am forever grateful simply the best. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️

GooglePossibly one of the most inappropriate, unprofessional and unethical agents, I have ever had to deal with. The poor management of this company saw a Tennant evicted and were forced to move out on Boxing day. The agent was too lazy to come and complete the check out and then only replied via text in an aggressive and argumentative tone when we tried to arrange returning the keys. They were poor at responding to emails which caused the tenants to lose their contract. They expected everyone to move out on boxing day but couldn't be bothered to even pick up the phone to answer simple questions. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.NegativeResponsiveness

Dear Mr Whatley it is always difficult to respond to somebody who is acting in good faith but are not actually in receipt of the true facts. For personal reasons the Landlord needs to move back into the property. The Tenant was given 3 months notice and not the mandatory 2 months which allowed for the holiday period and any potential difficulty finding alternative accommodation. This would have made the expected leaving date 26th February 2022. Please note the date 26th because the Tenant moved in on 27th and tenancies run month to month. Unfortunately every year Christmas Day is 25th and Boxing Day 26th. The Tenant notified us they had found an alternative home the first week of December and moved out on 13th. They said they would carry out any cleaning etc on 14th. It was at this time I informed them there was no rush as their rent was paid up until 26th December so as long as I had the keys back by then it was fine. Legally a landlord has to give 2 months notice asking a tenant to leave this landlord allowed 3 months. A tenant is obliged to give 1 months notice from the ‘next rent due date’. If the landlord had wished they could have enforced the law and required a further months rent but they didn’t. Asking a Tenant to leave is not something me, my team or most landlords relish so we have tried to be as helpful and as accommodating as possible. The fact I was told by the Tenant when, time and date I was going to do the checkout I felt unreasonable. I did respond advising I would not be working on Boxing Day. We worked up to and including Christmas Eve and are back again on 29th. So I am sorry that you felt a text on Boxing Day was not acceptable but in my defence I had advised I would not be there and to receive any response from most industries including any estate agency on a bank holiday would be extremely rare. May I take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year and the Tenants well in their new home (which was acquired by a reference I personally wrote for them.) best Regards Angela

GoogleI can not recommend Angela Marden Estate Agents highly enough! Very good value, very professional, but most of all caring and understanding. This is how I believe an estate agent should be! Angela is absolutely terrific! From start to finish she was amazing! Having had to sell our property due to personal circumstances and not through choice I am so pleased we chose to go with Angela. GooglePersonal, Professional and approachable Selling our house with Angela Marden estate agents took out all the stress and strain from the start. The honesty about expectation and what we needed to do to sell our house was paramount. We knew exactly what we needed to do and the communication throughout was excellent. If you want a personal professional touch then Angela Marden estate agent is your best bet!

GoogleDarren at Angela Marden Estate Agents was great! He was so wonderfully helpful and kind, he was very light hearted and made the viewings enjoyable. He was incredibly honest and even gave ideas on what he would do to the ‘fixer-upper’ type properties which helped us see the potential! I recommend specifically asking for Darren if you are looking for a fun, honest, enjoyable viewing and no doubt, rest of the buying process. Thank you again!

GoogleMoving houses can be a streddful process but they made it easier than ever. Never thought i woul dhave a great and easy time with an agency. they are really patient and understandingif things were not to go to plan, the transition is really easy they walk you through everything, letting you ask all the questions you may have. Super grateful for them.

GoogleHaving recently moved to the area Angela was the Estate Agent acting for the property I viewed and subsequently went onto to buy. Angela is a professional lady with expert local knowledge of the housing market, nothing was ever too much trouble and all questions or queries promptly answered. GoogleBeing the first time I had rented, I knew nothing about the details. Angela showed me the flat and put me under absolutely no pressure. She explained to me what I needed to do if I wanted to move in and was supportive of me from day one. Any time I needed any questions answered, she was there and nothing was too much effort. I felt sad when I had to move out but even then, she was extremely supportive, gave me plenty of advice concerning my deposit and helped me tie up the property right up to and beyond my final day. Angela goes above and beyond to ensure people that rent through her feel happy. Thank you 🙏🏻

GoogleAngela was the Estate Agent acting in our recent purchase of a property. Her service to us was absolutely second to none! Angela always made time for us whether it was to fit in a viewing, needing something by email or even just a call. The one thing a lot of Estate Agents lack is approach-ability and the personal touch, and this is something Angela has an absolute abundance of. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us, we could not have got our purchase to an exchange within three weeks without you.
