Having had a few rough experiences with other estate agents in the area, we were expecting more of the same but were very impressed with Elliot (who negotiated the sale) and Toni (who managed the sale process). We felt Elliot treated us very fairly and was very reasonable (even when a different property we were trying to buy fell through). I had such a fantastic experience dealing with keatons when purchasing my property. In particular, OJ and Jon were excellent - they handled all queries, including challenging ones, with the utmost professionalism, skill, care and friendliness. Property transactions and house moves are stressful times. OJ and Jon’s service ensured this was an enjoyable experience for me. The purchase of my property was subject to probate being granted which could have made the whole experience much more stressful but they handled the peculiarities particularly well, liaising between all stakeholders regularly and with clear communication. Outstanding, tailormade service from Luke and Rebecca.

This is just a short thank you and shout-out for Luke and Rebecca who helped us with our tenancy as tenants. Luke has been very personal in his approach by relying on phonecalls as the primary means of communication with us. In the world emails and text messages, this was something that I truly appreciated and resonated with me. It also made the processes smoother and allowed a quicker completion compared to solely relying only on emails. He clearly understood what we were after and once the right property came onto the market went at great lengths to enable a successful agreement. Similarly, Rebecca went at great lengths to allow the completion by organising all the necessary legal and regulatory requirements so that we could move in. In doing so, Rebecca as well has continuously kept us in the loop which we found very reassuring. They were both extremely responsive and supportive during the process by often responding to emails outside standard office hours. Thank you!

Vulgar agency staff- Justine Reynolds

We have been looking to rent a property for a while now and came across Keatons via Justine Reynolds, who was the agent involved with a viewing of a property we liked. While we put in an offer to rent the apartment we had just seen, Justine was very persistent in getting a holding deposit from us. She had sent over documents for us to read including a contract which we were overwhelmed by and needed 3 working days so we could read over it before signing a contract, especially when on the website there was no mention of a holding deposit (naturally we were skeptical about it and in the past, have had bad experience with Landlords changing their minds last minute and going through the long process of getting our deposit back!) Justine was very unprofessional especially when she called my husband and began yelling at him and questioning why we had not sent the deposit in and signed the documents yet "it only takes 5 minutes to read!" I am currently 7 months pregnant and hearing how unprofessional she was had caused me a lot of distress as we had our heart set on this place but just needed a few days to look over the documents as we are both working full-time and have limited hours in the evenings to catch up with one another. We were really confused as to why Justine was being so vulgar in her manner and putting pressure on us even though we gave her a time and date that we'd send the deposit in by. Justine also threatened my husband saying "you have 15minutes to send the deposit over before we let other potential tenants come in and view the property and you will lost the opportunity to rent this place". My husband, in the middle of dealing with his own patients and keeping a professional tone, told Justine we will ring her back at lunchtime. Justine yelled again, accusing us of not being able to commit and for being unreliable! A few minutes later, Justine sent us an email noting we have lost the opportunity and had cancelled our account with Keatons powered by Goodlord. We're so shocked at the unprofessional behaviour and Justine's conduct with customers. This has really deterred our preference with dealing with Keatons, even though we heard many great reviews about the agency. We hope nobody else has to deal with such vulgar, rude and inappropriate dealings with any agents. We understand they are under a lot of stress to try to get an agreement on letting a property out but it has also shown us the red flags of some companies and their staff. Keatons powered by Goodlord, we hope you look into this and we will be filing in a complaint about your unprofessional staff members.

Very Helpful

We missed out on a lovely place by the park, but found a similar one not far from the same spot a couple of weeks later. I'd contacted Keatons when I saw the ad about a viewing but the flat wasn't ready yet, so I missed out on being contacted. I called up and explained the situation. Rose was super understanding and offered to schedule a viewing the next day. During the viewing, I didn't feel under pressure to look around quickly, and I wasn't overloaded with information. Rose was informative, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were really happy that we were able to find a place through Keatons in a great location. Thank you!I have received very good service from Keatons overall. Their renting process has been very transparent, and service has been quick. Siane was also really helpful in the earlier viewing!

By far the most professional estate agents I've dealt with

Sean Studd from Keatons in Deptford accompanied me from the first viewing of the flat that I bought, all the way to completion, and I am so glad that he was the estate agent I was working with! He is unlike most other estate agents I've met - he was never pushy, always professional, calm and polite, very helpful, quick to respond to emails, and great at communicating throughout the whole 6 months that the process took. There were a few hiccups along the way, but Sean, and his colleague Chloe Cook, both did everything they could to resolve them, and were honest with me about what was going on and what they were doing to try and help. Amazing service from Justine!

My partner and I found a new property to rent via Keatons and experienced amazing customer service. We were helped by Justine and she was brilliant through the whole process. We initally didn't get the first property we enquired about due to that landlord increasing the initial price, but as soon as we saw another property in the same area, we let Justine know and she did everything in her power to secure it for us. The process of credit checks, referencing and paying our deposits was also so easy and stress-free. We're really looking forward to having Keatons as our estate agents while in this property.
