Avoid with all cost!

Rented an apartment they told me it was deep cleaned before handing over the keys and everything would be fixed etc nothing was cleaned blood on walls mould in all rooms had a faulty/leaky boiler very slack on emails no communication in there office also they was very rude over the phone we never moved into the property due to all the damages and mould etc I was willing to give up my first months rent and for them to send me back the deposit but they refused to send anything back I would highly do not recommend this company/agancey to rent/buy a property from they are useless and slack

"Avoid Hunters Property Management, Inefficient, Rude, and Unprofessional"My experience with Hunters Property Management has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. They have consistently demonstrated poor service, inefficiency, and a dismissive attitude towards tenant concerns.Ineffective Issue Resolution: Hunters fails to handle even basic maintenance issues. For example, a heating issue during winter was passed to the landlord without any attempt to troubleshoot. I had to step in and take personal risks to resolve the problem myself, only to discover it was a simple battery replacement. Their inability to perform even basic triage highlights their lack of professionalism and problem-solving capabilities.Creating Gaps Between Tenants and Landlords: Instead of acting as a competent mediator, Hunters merely relays messages between tenants and landlords, causing delays and unnecessary misunderstandings. This approach has damaged the relationship between myself and the landlord, as the agency often fails to communicate effectively or accurately.Rude and Dismissive Behavior: The staff frequently respond to concerns with a dismissive tone, making tenants feel unsupported and undervalued. Their arrogant demeanor gives the impression that addressing tenant concerns is a favor rather than their responsibility.Neglecting Tenant Safety and Comfort: Health and safety issues, such as rat infestations and malfunctioning alarms, were not addressed promptly, despite the serious risks they posed. The lack of urgency in handling these matters has caused significant stress and discomfort for my family.Minimal Value Added: Hunters operates more like a messenger than a property management service. They fail to provide meaningful solutions and seem content to pass the burden of responsibility onto others, leaving tenants to fend for themselves.Overall, Hunters Property Management has proven to be unprofessional, inefficient, and dismissive. Worked with Alex in sales and viewed on a Monday, made an offer on the Wednesday and finalised the price on the Thursday. He worked very hard along with the seller and my solicitor to get all questions answered quickly and thanks to his management of the process we exchanged and completed in just over 6 weeks from the offer being accepted. I think that says all you need to know to both sellers and buyers and I highly recommend him and his firm. Hunters have been fantastic all round and am I letting out with Sha from their lettings team who is also very professional. Update: Sha was exactly to his word and amazingly got it rented out 6.5 from completion, 3.5 hours from you getting the keys. Amazing all round and a big thanks out to Hunter's and Alex and Sha in particular

We had contacted Jay regarding a property we’d seen online. He not only tried to arrange viewing for that house but really heard what we wanted and suggested another property. We were able to view the second house before it was even online, and eventually ended renting the lovely property. Jay was very proactive in his approach, which was really helpful as we were able to move into the property as soon as possible. He was approachable, answered all our questions patiently and looked out for our best interest. If we were ever to look for another property, he would be our go-to-person! We chose Hunters to sell our 1 bedroom flat earlier this year. Alex, our agent, was very well informed about the market, gave us confidence in the demand for our property, and of the five agents we spoke to, spent the most time with us to understand our priorities, both for the sale and any onward purchase. As promised, we had a buyer within a week and completed 3.5 months later. Throughout this, Alex was very responsive and very helpful when it came to arranging electrical and gas surveys at the request of the buyer. Finally, although our onward purchase was with another agent, Alex took the time to give us coaching on what to bid and when which was much appreciated. Overall, really happy with the service and would use Hunters again.

Just the worst Lettings agent in the area. Never returned phone calls, never gave me any updates on the property that they were asked to let for me and priced it too high just to get my business. I found their Lettings team to be rude and dismissive when I said I was not happy with their service. I just found the whole attitude to be extremely arrogant and full of themselves. There are so many good Letting agents in the area I would just go somewhere else next time.

lettings fees are very high

For lettings their fees are very expensive. First 3 months of my 450 rent studio flat they took and I did not get anything. When tenant leaves another month will be gone as inventory check is 180 and cleaning in 250 and this is for a studio flat. If i want to cancel the contract i have to pay 900. Stay away.

To say we’re disappointed with the level of communication from the Horncastle Branch with Michael and Susan Noonan is an understatement and the level of service is a far cry from Michael's commitment to customer experience.Researching this branch shows multi-occasions that this activity has happened here.If you’re viewing a property with the intent to buy, don’t expect them to tell you if any other parties are interested. They’ll just pull it from under your feet along with any visions or excitement of a future you had in said house.Viewed a property two weeks ago, following the viewing we had a really positive conversation with Susan in the office expressing great interest, no more than a week later sold to another buyer with no communication. It would have been professional and courteous to reach out to the buyer but more so to the seller, as I’m certain they would like to have known of other interest. Susan and Michael took away any opportunity or chance to put in any offers, resulting in many wasted hours.I wouldn’t usually leave a review; but the tone in which Susan delivered the news was blunt, lacked any sort of empathy and very closed, to date I am still waiting for a reply to my email which I can only assume has been ignored.We will steer clear of this company for future sales and purchases, knowing that their priority doesn’t appear to be with either buyer or seller.Happy to receive a call or email to discuss our experience with you.

Hunters are not interested

Hunters let the house adjacent to ours. There have been multiple pipe leaks around the bathroom causing flooding which in turn is causing damp smells on our side due to the length of time taken to address the issues. It's been repaired after four weeks now within hours water is currently coming through the ceiling next door soaking our party wall and they have told the tennant it's livable no problem.

Awful. Incredibly disorganised. Would establish inspections and never turn up, would constantly email about overdue rent that wasn't overdue. Would pass the blame constantly. Attempted to raise my rent by a "reasonable" £200 a month six months into my tenancy which can only happen every 12 months and cannot be more than the CPI price index; they failed on both counts. Renting is honestly awful, and these clowns pray upon the anxiety of insecurity to get what they want.I have bought a house now, I wish all renters the luck to buy their own homes one day so we never have to deal with letting agents like these ever again.
