GoogleAwful experience from start to finish. I can't tell whether they were taking advantage of us because we were students, woefully incompetent, or both. Whilst applying for the house they lost the documents we had given them and blamed us for it several times. They told us prior to the contract being signed that no deposit was needed from us, only to inform us after the signing that they would be needing a £750 deposit from each tenant. Upon arrival, the house was not professionally cleaned as they claimed. It was dusty and the balcony was littered with cigarette butts and other pieces of debris. Also upon arrival, we found a bed which had been left in the downstairs corridor and a mattress in the cloak cupboard, neither of which were removed until two months later despite us requesting this during the first week. Alongside this, the element, grill and two out of the four hobs on the oven did not work when we first arrived (house for FIVE people). When an engineer was sent to have a look, he told us that he had been called out before regarding the same issue with the same oven just before our tenancy began and that he had reported it to RMA and no action had been taken. Our washing machine broke after its first usage and, despite our protests, we were charged for its repair. That was all week 1. The rest of our tenancy was a series of us making requests about maintenance and other issues and either not hearing back or seeing an actual response for long periods of times (sometimes months). Come the end, we left the house in a better state than that in which we found it and they still attempted to claim a third of our deposit for 'damages' which were either illegitimate or not our fault. It took six months after the end of our tenancy to settle this dispute and get our deposit back. Would rate 0 stars if I could. Really don't bother

GoogleI have been renting property through RMA for many years and they have always been responsive and helpful with any questions issues arising and sorting it promptly. Recently the boiler broke down and Silas gave me a call back after I reported the issue and the engineer arrived in less than 30mins. I have only had a good experience renting through them. Highly recommended.

GoogleI have had the worst experience with RMA. I had issues with my roommate and they never took action. I felt so helpless and from my point of view they are so unprofessional and so not willing to help. I will definitely avoid RMA in the future.

Googlef you don’t want to spend months arguing with them over your deposit after moving out, don’t consider renting any property managed by RMA. They’re known for finding excuses to deduct deposits, and their staff are very unprofessional and unfriendly.

GoogleI would give -5 stars if I could. When we moved in, there was rotten rubbish all over the drive, slugs in the kitchen and none of the fuses were working. If I listed all of the laughable situations we were put into by this joke of an agency, this review would be a novella. The house was perpetually damp, it took them months to give us dehumidifiers- our clothes were literally going mouldy in the cupboards. We had to hassle them to get anything fixed around the house - sometimes there would be waiting times of weeks. The amount of money we paid for the living conditions provided is outrageous. And now we've moved out months ago, they are still refusing to give back hundreds from the deposit despite the appalling state of the house when we moved in, and the fact we left it extremely clean. Total scammers. Avoid!

GoogleMy experience with RMA has been atrocious right from the start. If I could I wouldn’t even give this letting agency one star. When we moved into the building the condition of the house was poor, showers didn’t work, boiler didn’t work, mould was all over the bathrooms creating a hazardous environment unsuitable to be living in. When it came to reporting these issues RMA did not immediately attempt to fix these issues, instead they ignored our emails and gave countless excuses. Not long after moving into the property we discovered the house was riddled with bed bugs, this issue was claimed to be taken care of weeks after the issue was first pointed out to RMA. The fumigation process they used to clear this issue was not successful and within the next week more bed bugs where spotted. Above one of the rooms was a family of rats that have been living rent free for months with nothing been done to challenge those pests. Upon reading other reviews on this company it’s pathetic to see 5 star reviews from family members of the employees and I would HIGHLY recommend you never rent using this company
