Generally quick and efficient service. The fact that it took 11 months to sell a decent flat in a decent location for a moderate price is a reflection of how inefficient the British way of selling property can be. Felt though that the Partnership had our backs.

Very responsive, helpful and reassuring

Oli and his team were incredibly responsive, helpful, and reassuring throughout my moving process. He handled both our BTL remortgage and onward purchase, and basically made sure it happened when other parties weren’t committing to the timelines the rest of the chain wanted. Expert legal advice and a safe pair of hands...

The Partnership provided us excellent service and advice during a tumultuous sale and purchase process. Lilian Goodwin and Hirakshi Shajpal were always on hand to field call and questions and expertly guided us through a very long process which included a previous house purchase falling through due to a change of circumstances. I could not recommend them, or the The Partnership, more highly.

Nice interface, not great service

They got the transaction over the line (eventually, with the seller threatening to pull out in the last week before exchange due to the slow timelines), but then were quite negligent in their work to ensure that the retainer for service charge arrears was paid by the seller, even though clear proof of the arrears were given. I understand that they’re not in control of whether the seller pays, but the partnership employee on the case didn’t even notice that the initial transfer was insufficient and passed the funds onto me thinking nothing was wrong. Then they basically washed their hands of the issue and advised I contact another solicitor, despite their inadequacy being partly at fault for the situation. If they had pushed back initially before the retainer expired and before the funds were transferred to me, there would have been more time to resolve this. I am now > £400 out of pocket as a FTB. Would not use the partnership for future transactions and would not recommend.

Lacking in proactivity

The responsiveness was incredibly slow, our move date got pushed back several times due to actions not being completed. We were waiting weeks for documents to be provided by the council when you could just go and get them online, which my wife ended up doing. In fact we ended up tackling more queries that our solicitors. If I could have held back some of our fee I would have done, tackling these queries took hours of our time when this is what we paid the partnership to do.The portal feature was useful but in general the lack of proactivity would mean I would not recommend the partnership or use them again

What a roller coaster.. but we got there in the end. There were moments of deep frustration when I felt I would loose either my sale or purchase.. or both. We had an absolutely amazing experience with The Partnership. They were so responsive and helpful - we were first time buyers and everything was confusing and new to us so it was super helpful to have our own portal through which we were in direct contact with the team who worked on our purchase. I didn't have a good experience with…

I didn't have a good experience with the partnership, it took 7 months to complete the purchase of a flat with no chain. It says on the portal that you can contact them anytime, however, speaking with them was not of any help. The main thing about them is that they do not take accountability for anything that happens. It looks as if they are trained not to solve clients issues but on how they can get away with responsibility. Even if in my case many delays came from the other side, they should have done better to get answers and speed the process. I never received any kind of sincere apology, and they didn't even helped me raise a complaint against the other side.

Thay wher very good at keeping in touch…

Thay wher very good at keeping in touch with me every week and letting me know what was going on only problem was I was asked for the same paperwork multiple times and repeatedly asked for proof of funds and wher i got the money from even though I had produced paperwork right at the start proving it was fron the saile of a house so a bit frustrating being asked 5 times wher i got it from along with lost paperwork
