We just bought a house through Hamptons Guildford and I only have glowing, positive things to say about the experience. Our agent, Stuart Pavey was friendly, efficient and extraordinarily patient with, what ended up being, quite a lengthy exchange process. He was always totally honest with us and, if asked a question that he didn't know the answer to, was quite happy to say he didn't know but would find out rather than making something up on the spot. He was personable and friendly while still maintaining a professional air at all times and was invaluable at making sure both sides were always happy and kept in the loop, making calls to reassure us that everything was in hand every step of the way. In short, Stuart went above and beyond what I would consider necessary for the job and I honestly can't find anything negative to say about our experience. Thank you!

I approached Hamptons after my house had been on the market for a year. Despite being a smaller property the team were very enthusiastic and quickly had it on the market. The property market has been slow and it wasn’t an easy property to sell but what impressed me was that Simon and his team were in regular contact even when there was not much news. An offer was received Tiffany & Simon provided weekly updates and kept everything on track. Would have no hesitation in recommending Hamptons Guildford.

From initial contact until completion our service from Hamptons, Guildford has been excellent. Guidance on pricing was accurate. A visit from a team of five to our property to familiarise themselves was impressive. The presentation of the property details and photography was first rate. Negotiation of sale value with our buyers secured an increase in the advertised price. Of particular merit, Rosie visited our then vacant property at regular intervals and kept us updated fully throughout. Her manner is highly professional, friendly, encouraging and upbeat. We are grateful and impressed.

My review is of the Hamptons GODALMING team as that is the office I originally contacted. Everyone in the Godalming team were great throughout. Always helpful and supportive during what turned into quite a protracted and stressful sale. We got there in the end thanks to all the hard work put in by Ross. Hamptons were an exemplary selling agent for us. From the beginning, we appreciated Simon's ability to listen; to be analytical about the market and our own situation; to empathise with our perspective, but also to be direct and straight about difficult issues, when he thought we were wrong; always being willing to talk to us, even when he was very busy; being proactive in knowing up to the minute what was happening in our chain; and being generally on the ball and for keeping us informed about what was going on at all times. He has a very warm, engaging and reassuring style, which is helpful through what is inevitably a stressful process. He also gave us good advice, when difficult decisions had to be made. He has also developed a very effective team around him in Guildford in Tiffany, Florence, Stewart and Andrew, who embody the same values, as well as being very efficient and good at what they do. Each of them took the time to familiarise themselves with the nuances of our property and its surroundings. Communication within their office was always excellent. Whoever we spoke to, knew all about our sale, whatever stage it was at, and always acted promptly and accurately on whatever they agreed to do for us. We always had confidence that Florence was promoting Hernshaw in the best way possible when she showed people around, and in her judgement about the people involved.
