One of my B2L properties managed by Haart’s had a problem with a burst water pipe in the kitchen. The third-party organisation I use to handle such problems were quite frankly useless and had it not been for the help, support and persistence of Georgina Rankin the situation would certainly have become a great deal worse. Georgina also attended my property outside of normal working hours to meet a local plumber on-site who was able to fix the problem. She then stayed on to mop up the residual mess. I can't speak highly enough of Georgina and the effort she put in to resolve this issue.

Haart Guildford have really restored my faith in estate agents, and Vicky in particular has been phenomenally supportive and helpful from the outset. Not only did she offer advice on my current tenancy, she has been thoroughly informative and proactive, and truly stuck to her word when she said she would call or look into something for us. Vicky found us a beautiful apartment, and went above and beyond when arranging the tenancy and referencing, as well as being incredibly efficient at getting back to us with any questions we had. We truly can't fault the service we have received, and she made what was potentially a very stressful search, so much easier, and as stress-free as possible. When I started a tenancy agreement with a property managed by Haart, I was asked by them to leave a review here on google. My original review was a very positive 5 start review, but throughout my tenancy agreement things with their service changed very quickly, hence why I deleted my original review, and I’m posting this one now. During the process of finding the property and putting an offer and getting the tenancy agreement set up, communication was good and very quick. They would respond straight away when it came to us giving them the money for the deposit and paying the agency fees (we started our tenancy before the law changed in 2019), they were doing their best to make everything go smooth and quick. However, once we moved into the property that changed. We would have to constantly chase them up with emails as they would never respond whenever we had issues with the property. They completely disregarded anything we had to say, it was a constant struggle to get a response from them. What made it even more difficult was the fact that they kept passing us onto different people to deal with us - there was no consistency at all. Some of the staff members in the Guildford team were rude and condescending. The only person who works in the Guildford office that was helpful and polite is Lejla, but it’s a shame that the rest of the team weren’t half as nice as she was. We had raised some issues way before the pandemic started but they didn’t get resolved for months and some of them didn’t get resolved at all while we stayed at that property. Granted, it was the landlord’s responsibility to get any repairs completed, but the landlord had told us they had slow communication from the Haart too, which delayed everything. I’ve rented a few places with other agencies before and I’ve never experienced anything like this. Please avoid this letting agency at all costs!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

I have been using Haart letting agency from Guildford for over two years, and this is so far the best letting agency I used in the last 15 years here in the UK. The letting process right from the beginning was very easy, straightforward without tones of paperwork. My house is on the market with another company, I was cold called by haart to my mobile that I have logged with the telephone preference service and I experienced a very ‘determined’ young man who wouldn’t take ‘ no thanks, I don’t require the service off another estate agent without me having to be really firm. Very disappointed and I would never now use them because of this.
