Harassment, Alarm & Distress Caused - Spamming Cowboys

I went through Get Agent which was my first big mistake… they gave my details to Gascoigne Pees who called me within minutes. I explained that I wasn’t looking at a valuation or selling my house for at least 3-6 months and to ‘stand down’… I’ve been called every day or every other day since, and when I don’t answer the phone, they don’t leave a message and when you call back it doesn’t go through to the branch only to the head office. I asked my details to be removed from their system but I’ve still had daily calls from them, even when on the phone to their head office to make a complaint, I was called again by their branch. I have since had 4 spam calls from other estate agents with details sent to GetAgent with my phone number and a fake email address that Get Agent are tracing using the IP address from the fake email due to a breaking of GDPR rules. Yet to be proven but seems a coincidence that after having an argument with someone at Gascoigne Pees about harassment and spam calls from them, that my details have been sent out to estate agents in Coventry, Stoke-On-Trent, Nottingham and Leeds… Would never sell my house through GP and trust them with any personal details..

As a first time home buyer I was nervous and a bit overwhelmed. However, I had a positive experience with GPees and would definitely recommend them! Molly was great! I gave her my list of "must haves" and "nice to haves" and she worked hard to find places that fit the criteria, and eventually found my wonderful first home. Phil is also brilliant and I recommend him if you need to talk about mortgages. He listens and he's thorough. Both of them were friendly, helpful, and professional and listened to my needs. I am renting a flat in Dorking through Gascoigne-Pees, the whole process has been excellent. Jade Herring helped me through the entire process, from the initial viewing through to completing the application and tenancy agreement. Jade was very professional, helpful, easy to contact, and approachable - even when she had to help me after I managed to misread the tennanacy agreement! The online forms are easy to understand, and the portal easy to use. In all it has been the most seamless experience I have had while renting. Jade is a credit to Gascoigne-Pees. Can't reate highly enough.

We were desperately looking for a property to rent and when I saw one, I contacted Gascoigne Pees and although it was late in the process Jade Herring , who I managed to reach on the phone, followed up immediately even though she was not responsible for the property. She made the whole process easy for me - helped me complete the application process online and got back to me within a few hours. I also liked the referencing system, the portal they have for landlords and tenants alike - the whole service seemed professional and seamless. I would definitely use their services again. Above all Jade was efficient, easy to reach and friendly!

I’m currently in the process of buying a property listed with Gascoigne-Pees (Guildford branch), and had a deeply upsetting experience with their branch manager, Molly Wren, on 10 July 2025. During a phone call, Molly shouted at me and aggressively demanded details of my solicitor without clearly explaining the reason for the request. I found her behaviour to be completely unprofessional, rushed, pushy, and lacking in basic courtesy. I’ve never been spoken to like that by any professional before. I expected a constructive and respectful conversation, especially given the importance of this transaction. Instead, I was left feeling pressured, confused, and extremely uncomfortable. I would appreciate being contacted by senior management to explain how this situation is being handled internally and what steps are taken within the company to address behaviour of this kind.
