The option to have a virtual walkthrough of the house would have been good (e.g. Matterport) as we found this very useful when buying our new place, maybe this could be looked into for the future ? From start to finish Carman Friend were excellent and we would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone. Our initial point of contact was professional and thorough. They attended our house for our valuation and gave realistic expectations of what our house was worth. There was a couple of months before we were ready to sell and at this point they worked quickly to secure a sale for our property. Our ongoing purchase was not straight forward as we were in a long ongoing chain and experienced many hiccups. The team worked tirelessly to ensure our purchase could finally go through and I honestly believe that if it was not down to the exceptional hard work of Emma we would not have been able to have moved into our new family home. We strongly advise that after our experience you need an excellent estate agent that is efficient, effective, proactive and is able to chase loose ends with other professionals in the chain. I've dealt with a few estate agents in my time and I can safely say that Carman Friend are outstanding! Sami was our agent for the sale of our property and the purchase of our new home in Chester. The first offer on our home was within a few days of going on the market and we accepted an offer after only 2 weeks. Sami's knowledge of the local housing market was spot on and she even managed keep the momentum up with the conveyancing process despite the pandemic lockdown.
