GoogleOur experience with this agency was extremely disappointing and stressful. We met the stated income requirements, provided all requested documents, including payslips, bank statements, and an NHS contract, and paid a holding deposit in good faith. Despite this, our application was later declined due to their internal referencing system and affordability criteria. We were particularly concerned that my wife’s verified income was disregarded simply because she was on maternity leave, which felt unfair and discriminatory. We were also told that my zero-hour contract meant our income could not be verified, even though full evidence was provided. To make matters worse, the agency refused to refund our holding deposit, despite their own agreement stating that a refund is due when references are insufficient but information is accurate. This caused us significant financial loss and emotional distress, especially as we have a newborn baby and were relying on this move. Communication was poor, and our concerns were repeatedly dismissed. I would advise others to be very cautious before paying a holding deposit to this agency and to ensure you fully understand how your application will be assessed.

FacebookDDM helped us to purchase our first home. Monique was extremely helpful at the beginning of the process explaining things and giving updates regularly. We then had Mike take over towards the end of the process due to changes with Covid-19. He was also really helpful, he regularly kept in touch giving updates either via phone call or text. Both agents was really professional but also friendly and approachable. They was both just really helpful through the process and we cannot thank them enough for all their help!

FacebookCould not have asked for anything more from DDM! They knew we'd found our dream home to buy so came round within 24 hours to get ours on the market. We had viewings within a day and had multiple offers by the end of the first week! great communication from all of them, big thank you to Kiah, Monique and Claire for keeping me sane during sales progression! Then lockdown happened...Claire was brilliant, still kept us updated and made sure we could move, safely and keeping to the applicable rules so the chain didnt collapse. thank you all very much sending virtual chocolates flowers and prosecco!xx
