TrustpilotDo not rent through Foxtons
If you are a renter, please do not use Foxtons. They are a scammy horrible company that only serves the interests of the landlord. They rented us an overpriced disgusting dump by using old out-of-date photos in the rental ad, and locked us into an abusively restrictive contract that made it impossible to leave the horrible dump that ruined my mental health. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these money hungry scammers.

Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.

GoogleFoxtons Blackheath Adam Priscak was our Sales Negotiator of Blackheath Sales and boy did he work hard to sell our house. He was outstanding as were other staff at the office. Nothing was too much trouble or work. The poor guy was sick and still didn't give in. Talk about dedication and such a nice guy. We had 100% trust in selling our property. GoogleSeamus from Foxtons was incredible throughout this process - reliable, honest, sincere and just on it. We had a tight window to get everything turned around and from the level of communication Seamus had from the beginning, we knew we were in safe hands. Supportive advice mixed in with a friendly dose of banter to keep what can be the stressful moments of moving homes, light - we couldn’t recommend Seamus from Foxtons enough!

Samantha was outstanding in her communication, even providing me with more updates than my own solicitors. Although I wasn't their direct client, she consistently addressed any questions I had regarding the process with patience and clarity. Given this positive experience, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Foxtons if I ever decide to sell.

I've recently started renting from Foxtons. They are both the letting agent and the managing agent. I have never paid so much for such a bad service. None of the extractor fans work, my heating doesnt work, the curtain rods are bent and now one has fallen off & luckily no one got hurt because they have taken so long to resolve the issues. I'm wondering is this even legal?

I contacted ONE agent for a specific property viewing, and it has turned into a total nightmare. I am being hounded by at least FOUR different colleagues from this branch. The frequency is beyond unprofessional, I just received 2 calls in the span of 5 minutes.

As a landlord (don't hate me!) paying for a managed service, they tried to charge me £90 + vat to fix a meter door with two cable ties. This is typical, and I have to chase them repeatedly for everything. My tenants and I deserve better.

I had an incredibly unfair and unprofessional experience with the Foxtons Deposits Team. We moved out in October 2025, yet it took five months for any clarity regarding our deposit, a delay that felt like a tactical move to strip us of our right to provide counter-evidence.
