Buy To Let Investment

Spoke to Naz of Thomas Marsh in early January 2016 expressing our interest in buying a buy to let investment in the Purfleet area! Naz explained everything to us talking us through the area etc... They located us a fantastic apartment which we put in an offer for and got excepted although there was a slightly higher offer... From the beginning process of buying and eventually renting the property and after dealing with the wonderful Patricia at Thomas Marsh these guys completely restored my faith in some select!! few!! Great Experience

I cannot speak highly enough of Thomas Marsh. Naz and James in particular were excellent. My purchase was very complicated and it wouldn't have reached this point had it not been for the professionalism and hard work of Naz. The property was outside of their area however they were very accommodating when it came to viewings and local knowledge. I have just recently completed a purchase of my stunning 3 bed house in tilbury which was such a great experience from start to finish. I remember the first time I walked into this Office one Saturday morning with my wife. We were actually looking to rent to then buy later but they didn't have any property at the time in Chafford Hundred. So they put us on the list and then got talking about buying. Purchase of property

Overall Thomas Marsh provided myself and fiancée with a great service. Going through the purchase of a property can be very stressful but they were supportive and worked with us to complete the process as quick as possible in the simplest way. The initial viewing was arranged through James Taylor who was prompt to respond to queries or messages and helpful when trying to organise subsequent viewings. Once the offer was accepted, Patricia Gibson took over and we found her very easy to liaise with, proactive and helpful in moving purchase along. The only downside to the experience was an oversight from Thomas Marsh in not ensuring as promised that the property was left completely cleared. Apart from this unfortunate incident, their service was very good and we would certainly consider using them again when selling or buying in the future,

Disgraceful

I put an offer in on a property - they did not respond for 4 days. Then I received a call that my offer was not accepted. The next day they told me it was. After I cancelled all the viewings I had arranged, they failed to take the property off the market. Then, they did not respond to correspondence, only to call me while I was at the bank, processing my mortgage application to tell me that I've been guzamped. Disgraceful behavior, could have been handled differently. If you are a buyer, beware!!

James managed to get me a viewing and from the start was open, honest and always available. On the odd occasion that James wasn't in the office he had updated his colleagues so we were always able to progress with the purchase which is why I believe we managed to complete within 6 weeks. The most inspiring thing about this process was James 'Can Do' attitude regardless to obstacles encountered. This made me feel well supported and confident through this purchase. Dreadful

Been trying for weeks to arrange a second viewing for a property. Staff not available to provide me with appointment to view property staff not on hand to be contacted. Despite several emails and disclosing and requesting information nothing was done. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Professional service

We were first time buyers and it's safe to say we were impatient as well as very new to conveyancing. I kept pestering Lauren with many questions, on numerous times during the week but she remained calm and was very helpful in explaining the process to me unlike solicitors.
