FacebookYou always need to chase. I have reached out to the property management side and they seem swamped and therefore are unable to help. I had a £10 bill converted to a £110 bill. I am now chasing for a refund but they just seem to charge whatever they want. Its really frustrating. The local agents are OK, its just the property management side. You always have to chase, chase and chase.

GoogleThey are scams, will overcharge and wont return your deposit to you. never told us about our deposit protection scheme and took the money for themselves without explaning why they are keeping deposit. they never accept their wrongs but use lack of staff training to lure you into paying more money. Beware of them you shouldn't take any property from them unless you want your savings to be gone

GoogleWorst agency ever considering the fact that I am an estate agent in the city we refund our tenants even if they fail referencing or if a landlord pulls out!!!! My cousin placed an offer and was refunded his 6 weeks deposit but not his holding fee because the landlord pulled out!!! How ridiculous, being robbed in blind daylight!!! Property ombudsman please close down this agency. Terrible customer service.

FacebookTownends have deducted a management fee from my rental income in April and in May and yet they are not providing a property management service. If they cannot provide the service at this time, then they should not charge a management fee. I wonder if they have furloughed their staff, whilst still charging landlords. Appalling service.

FacebookAfter a tense few weeks with solicitors we found a saving grace in Chad Newbould from the Sunbury branch! He was polite, honest and listened to our problems, remembered details specific to our sale and always returned phonecalls and went beyond his duties to help chase queries and get our move through to exchange. Huge thanks to him and the team.

GoogleEstate and Letting Agents that do not know the law. Staff are rude, ignorant and if they don't like what you're saying will put the phone down on you, management included in this. They exist only to rip you off. Use them with caution! Has anyone ever had their deposit returned in full?
