I inherited Balgores when they bought out my property management company, and it has been the worst experience ever. If i could give them zero stars I would. Do not let Balgores manage your property because my experience with them is that they don’t give a damn, and just collect your money every month. An inspection was not done of my rental house in two years, they “forgot” to pay me for three months, and then when I requested my rent they shorted me a month until I requested they rectify it, they have charged me double for repairs, won’t give me copies of documents because “they are in storage”, and don’t attend to hazardous items on property inspections until you bring them to their attention, etc. It has just been a complete nightmare!!!!!Update March 2024I requested that I get my property back in March 2022, via an email to Paul Loding, regional lettings manager. I don't believe that initiated the process because he never responded to my request. Six months later, I made the same request to Amanda Farmer, and I believe that she got the ball rolling. I have a 12 month lease with a clause stating that I would get my property back with the tenants rehoused in approximately 60 days. It is 2 years later, and I keep being told that the council has nowhere to put the tenant. I have not had an increase in my rent in 8 years so I know that I am not getting the fair market value in rent. I feel that I have been misled because I was not told that the 60 days could be two years or more, as far as getting my house back vacant, as I would never have signed up for that. It is as though it is not my property. I am very upset as I cannot sell my property as I had planned. Their resolution is to advise me to get a solicitor! I would advise everyone not to enter into any letting contracts with Balgores. Furthermore, I am not getting copies of contractor invoices that I have been asking for since October of 2023. I don't know why that is an issue with Balgores, as the previous company was transparent and would freely provide me with contractor invoices promptly.

We recently sold a property with Josh at Balgores, Josh was brilliant, he was very professional and dealt with the process quickly before then passing it to Sarah the Sales Progressor to continue the sale. Sarah was also brilliant, she dealt with our sale amazingly and was so helpful with any issues we had. We can't recommend these two highly enough!!

Extremely unprofessional, like others have similarly experienced, they do not respond to email enquiries nor telephone calls. Rather u helpful and abrupt when you contact on their social media and only reply on there as it’s a public platform. I will never recommend this business and I will make sure others know how they act towards potential tenants, maybe they discriminate against a certain group, who knows. But sadly, a very negative experience and for that I will never recommend this company. They also then remove any comments with negative experiences shared on their social media.

Donna was superb in talking to both sides and chasing docs to avoid any delays. The office are always on the ball with calls & emails, I couldn't ask for more from an estate agent!

Worst experience we’ve ever had. We moved in despite them after securing a key ourselves. Rang 9pm night before telling us we couldn’t move in because a new boiler was being fitted!! No thought to where we might live , no common sense, just ‘computer says no ‘ attitude. No idea who gas was with or electric or WiFi basically getting paid 12% management fee to do nothing. Would never ren or buy a house that had Balgores as agentsAs is typical of Balgores I contacted as requested, told me he was on holiday and would follow up on his return, can only guess he’s on a very long holiday as no contact to date, don’t use them

After my initial confidence with selecting Balgores, I have to say that for a considerable amount of time I was somewhat disappointed with the service received against what had been promised. Although they were efficient at arranging viewings and marketing the property, the lack of contact did frustrate me. I lost count of the number I times I had to contact them to find out what was happening! To be fair, this was resolved after the member of staff I had been dealing with left the company. Also some small niggles about the front door not being locked properly and lights left on when they showed prospective buyers round.That being said, after the change of staff, things progressed quite quickly and a sale was achieved.
