Fantastic service from Beth. I have to say I wasn't massively impressed with the solicitors, stonebow law, which is their preferred solicitor, but I cannot thank Beth enough. I was putting pressure on Beth at the start of the transaction, but after quickly realising that Beth was doing her job and giving 200% and realising that it was actually the estate agent across the road that wasn't doing theirs, an apology was issued. A fantastic experience with selling my first property. My initial contact was with Luke. He put me at ease and answered all of my questions. My property was sold within days of being on the market with multiple offers being put down. I believe that was down to the valuation being accurate and Luke doing such a great job of conducting the viewings. Once I had accepted an offer, Adam was fantastic and was always a friendly and reassuring voice answering my questions and queries. If he couldn’t give me an answer immediately then he would get back to me promptly. As my sale progressed, Beth was amazing! She supported me through some frustrating times and was always available to offer me advice and guidance. We were that pleased with the service provided by Pygott & Crone, we are actually selling another property and buying our next through them too. Thank you again.

I cannot recommend the team at Grantham more! My partner and I have just purchased a property in Pond street - Great Gonerby and they have been excellent throughout. Coral Bennett has been incredible at making our house move happen!

We have just had a very long journey to purchase our new property through the Boston office, partly due to an unreliable chain behind us and then the coronavirus lockdown. Coral Bennett at Boston has been fantastic. She has chased everyone and constantly checked back down the chain to find out what was happening and kept us informed every step of the way. She has been efficient and friendly and we don't think we would have actually got to this point where we have exchanged contracts without her perseverance. We can't praise or thank her enough.

Me and my partner were looking into buying our first home. We went with pygott and crone for every step of our journey, we couldn't be more thankful for the staff. Property viewings were brilliant let us view property twice before deciding to put and offer in. They didn't hoover over us whilst viewing the property which is lovely. Any questions they had answers to were answered and anything they didn't know they found out the answer and told us. We used their mortgage advisor as well, who is fabulous, he sat and explained everything to us and we didn't feel judge one but for not knowing information. Once offer was accepted and process started more forward with the property, we were kept in the loop as much as they were, they informed us of every step and took the time to explain everything to us. We are extremely grateful for the staff involved with our property and they were extremely helpful at every step. Brilliant estate agents, if we needed to we'd use them again. Thank you!!

We had a couple of agents visit before Luke the manager at pygott & crone came out to value the house. Although they were not the cheapest Luke was really professional and gave great advice and therefore decided to go with them. The professional photos were fantastic and we got plenty of interest from day 1. We sold our house within a week and still had more people wanting to view, however we chose what we felt was the right buyer and got our property sold. Big thanks to Luke, Jack, Suzanne & Natasha. What a fantastic move it was to select Pygott and Crone Grantham. Before choosing Pygott, we had our house on the market for over 3 months with another leading estate agent in Grantham , however with no joy in terms of viewings. I felt the service from them was the “standard”, we decided to change. I had a visit from Luke - the Manager of the Grantham branch - his welcoming, genuine and trustworthy personality was exceptional. His valuation was accurate and the level of service I recieved was outstanding. He took the time to find out and explore our situation , and our expectations - something that was key in us choosing to select Pygott. Luke was keen to provide us with Proffessional Photograph’s and market our property in a great way - it felt unique and also astonished with how amazing the photo’s looked!! Right from the very start we suddenly had interest in our property - arranging viewings constantly and before long , we have found a buyer. ALL viewings had a background of their situation clearly explained to us - with great follow up’s and feedback provided to us from Suzanne and Jack in the office. Suzanne has a great pro-active approach in her work it seems and this goes along way to us building trust and reccomending Pygott at Grantham to all of our freinds/ family. The word is certainly getting around town from us about how good the service has been with these guys - personal and professional delivering exceptional performance! Back to the bad old days

Spalding branch.We were told on introduction that commission was 1.5%, there was a £150 fee for photos and energy plan, and P&C also 'reserved to right' to charge £150 admin fee if we withdrew the property from them. He told us he'd recently 2 or 3 couples interested in a property like ours. Commission was slightly higher than local competition, but we gullibly presumed this was spent on extra marketing. After seeing only 2 couples in 3 months (1 of whom made it clear from the outset they had no interest in our house) and despite dropping the price by over 8%, we decided to sell elsewhere.We were told we had to pay the admin fee and also the £150 'arrangement fee' for the photos (we could not keep or use them).Having sold a property elsewhere recently, I really thought estate agents had changed. Well, Pygott & Crone haven't!If you are thinking of selling or letting/renting I'd strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

Disgusting and incompetent behaviour

If I could have put no stars or minus I would. I offered on a property full asking price but the agent wanted it Subject to viewing. Sent my aip across holly in boston confirmed vendor happy with the offer just need to view on return from holiday today at 4.30. Gets a call and email from a joe saying vendor accepted offer over weekend and therefore viewing cancelled. Also tries to tell me cant offer without viewing which being a senior conveyancer for 27 years i know is totally wrong. Many people offer not viewing and I had seen it outside offered straight away just unfortunate that flew out. Have email stating offer accepted by vendor to come back to this just an absolute joke. Funny tho as was messed about on a bungalow in quadring years ago tenanted but we were not advised also subsidence it was a joke and the vendors Conveyancers couldn't deal with the issues again misrepresented. This will certainly be taken further. Absolutely rubbish service and to not even know what another advisor in office had done is just totally and utterly incompetent . Trying to make out it's my fault for going on holiday but I would have given full asking price without the viewing, obviously not even advised to the vendor. Emails from Holly very clear as are Joe's so let's see the poop hit the fan now!!
