GoogleWe’ve just completed on our house purchase through Bourne Godalming and I have to say how easy they were to deal with and especially Tilly. She kept communication to what was necessary and really got the job done for us, our sale was a very challenging one but Bourne were happy to wait for it to go through and kept their vendors happy.

This has genuinely been the worst experience I have ever had with any estate agent. Having been both a homeowner, a landlord and a tenant over the years, I have dealt with plenty of property professionals. I have never experienced a company that has caused this level of unnecessary stress, frustration and conflict.

We recently used them for a house sale in the Binscombe area of Godalming and they were brilliant. They got lots of viewings and managed the sale superbly. Complicated process with added difficulties, but of all the people involved (vendors, solicitors, other agents, housing associations etc.) there were times that it seemed to us that Bourne were the only party that actually cared. Always chasing, always keeping us updated.

GoogleI had a let which they extended without telling me for a further two and a half months. Upon challenging them they told me they’d negotiated with the landlord to only extend me for six weeks. There was no signature or evidence and they clearly made a mistake but it was only after threatening to take them to court that they admitted they’d made a mistake. The letting team are a disgrace and my advice would be to pick anyone else

Today Gareth came to value my home and was so very helpful & thorough that I also would happily recommend him to others. He explained about the current market, and his experience of other homes sold within the area. Gareth is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable, and happy to make that extra effort for his clients. The email follow up & information printed out for me was very helpful.
