Got a viewing with rite home and was very quick and easy to book. Viewing was very busy but had all my questions answered by the agent. Also after viewing had follow up questions and phone the agent Lynne, she was very helpful in answering and quires I had.

We moved from Australia and needed a rental in Glasgow. Engaged Ethan from RiteHome. Great service, good unit in town, quick to fix and respond to minor issues. Would highly recommend

Very strange experience we submitted an offer via our lawyer for a property on Battlefield road Glasgow as requested to by Rite Home, my lawyer called to say he could not get a response from Rite Home so I tried for days to be initially told they are a letting agent not an estate agent however when they heard back from the seller I would be informed by Coalvil the only person who could deal with sales . I persisted for a few more days eventually speaking to Coalvil who informed me he was going to accept a verbal offer, a verbal offer that I was not allowed to submit . Surely if you were the agent selling a property and you have a few people interested then a closing date should be the course of action. For myself it’s another buy to let property this said shocked at the lack of professionalism and extremely poor can’t do attitude . Martyn

I am really quite impressed with ritehome ... they were extremely kind and helpful throughout the whole application process, providing personalised attention and assistance with detailed technical questions. And then, after i had moved in and realised there was a problem with the washing machine, they had a brand new washing machine delivered and installed within only three days! Overall, i have found them to be well organised, efficient, capable and reasonable with a refreshingly customer-focused attitude. It is a great feeling to know that your landlord is on the same side as you are.

I have just moved to a new property and was guided by Rite Home, especially by Ethan Miller. He has made the process so easy and precise. They have prioritized my situation and made it possible to shift as soon as possible, so understanding and supportive. Quick to answer my queries. Thank you so much for making my journey so wonderful!!

Charges illegal referencing fees! If anybody has paid referencing fee for this company or there 3rd party referencing company I would advise you to seek advice into having this return as it is illegal for the company or there 3rd party agents to charge fee. Feel free to contact me. Also been reported to trading standards.

Hi Carol, ritehome do not charge any fees to tenants for referencing, this is untrue. We recommend a 3rd party referencing agency who may charge a fee. We do not profit from this service and is entirely optional. For any potential tenant who cannot satisfy typical referencing requirements e.g. students, unemployed, those with a bad credit history or are in receipt of universal credit / housing benefits we ask for further information and the agreement of a guarantor. Using this 3rd party service is entirely optional and tenants are free to use any tenant referencing agency or guarantor or substitute guarantor agency they choose. There are numerous available online. We are however obligated to ensure a duty of care to our landlords (and any future tenant) that a tenant can afford to make rental payments. This is normal, fair and to be expected when renting a property. For any tenant in full time employment, an application form, proof of ID, a landlord reference, payslips and a credit report are usually suffice.

I wouldn't let Ritehome run a bath let alone run my property portfolio. Robert Nixon the MD is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. They moved in a Tennent to one of my property's who failed the credit check then ditched the property and left us to deal with the aftermath of a tenant not paying a penny. At the same time they instructed a removal company to remove items from another property without notice, the contractor removed a £7,000 painting which was never seen again. Ritehome are now being sued for professional misconduct & theft AVOID!NegativeProfessionalism

Excellent service at great price

The easiest way to review RiteHome is that they do the same job as a high street Estate Agent but at a far lower cost. The customer service provided by Scott was first class, he always returned calls quickly and was very helpfull.

My partner and I viewed house 2 weeks back and on following day we submitted our application. We have been chasing them to confirm the status of application but everyday we receive the same reply "Landlord has not yet decided". After multiple emails and calls we got to hear our application is unsuccessful. Complete waste of time 👎 …

I was a tenant and had a good experience with Lynne from Ritehome. She was a great help as I came from far away and she was easy going and understandable about everything. She was a good reference for my future place also.

Absolute joke. Turned up to a viewing where the agent wasn't present - left 8 of us outaide without any communication until one of us called and they told us they didn't have the keys to enter the property. Rearranged for another day and then called to say the landlord is now selling the property rather than letting and apologies for any inconvenience that 'he' has caused

I am particularly delighted with the help and support I received from Lauren your Property Manager who handled my exit formalities at my former flat (Ellisland Road, G67). Lauren's attention to details, knowledge and professionalism made all the difference. I am very satisfied.

Arranged a property viewing for 4pm on a Bank Holiday Sunday. Agent didn't turn up and didn't answer their phone when I called to find out! A post to their twitter account wasn't followed up either. Very disappointed especially as I'd travelled some distance. Generally, "if you don't take it, we're pretty sure someone else eventually will, so we're not that bothered" feels like the staff's attitude. This is one rite of passage I won't be repeating!!!

RiteHome is great to rent a property.

Very smooth process to be able to rent a property. The RiteHome team and especially Sophie were very helpful and they managed with great professionalism to make the process as simple as possible.

Our experience with RiteHome has been a shambles from the beginning. There have been an ongoing list of minor incidents, however for the sake of brevity I have edited this review down to the ones that I think best show their attitude as a letting agency. When we first arrived there was cigarette ash in the middle of the living room floor and mould caking almost every surface on the inside of the washing machine. This left our clothes stinking. We had to clean both of these ourselves. A few weeks later, an absolute blunder in the Ritehome office lead to all of Ritehome's current and previous tenant's personal contact information being shared with one another. Some of the past tenants had not been in touch with Ritehome for years. This was not due to a data breach, but was instead due to incompetence or lack of due diligence in the Ritehome office. Our next issue came when our washing machine began to break some months later. We reported this using Ritehome's online repair form, as this is the medium that they had previously requested we use to report faults in our property. It appeared that they did not even bother to read this for a week, by which time the washing machine was completely broken and unusable. We then had to wait for a technician to visit the property and confirm that the washing machine was in fact broken, before we could experience the joy of waiting for a replacement. Our most recent interaction with Ritehome was regarding our unsafe front door, broken shower and a missing handle from an interior door. This time our repair request took around 1 month for someone to be sent out. During this period Ritehome asked us for roughly £400 in arrears that we did not owe. After asking for a copy of our account, it was clear that not only were the Microsoft Excel skills of the staff very basic, but that they had failed to understand their own very basic spreadsheet which I then had to explain to them. The arrears were the removed from our account. This company seems to be run by a group of people with their feet up in the office and their fingers in their ears. I would strongly recommend avoiding them both as a tenant and as a landlord who recognises their duty of care to their tenants.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Excellent letting and estate agency. Service was exceptional. I let my property in Glasgow with RiteHome from 2013 until I sold the property in 2020. They conduct proper inventories and have found me tenants so fast that I had no gaps in income. They conduct regular checks on your property and report promptly to the landlord. They also keep you up to date on any safety checks needed. I have NEVER received a late rent payment from them. In 2019 I decided to sell the property and instructed RiteHome as the selling agent. I had some issues resulting from my survey and being a distant landlord I was faced with problems that I could not solve from afar. The staff and business owner at Ritehome stepped up and helped me through this difficult time way beyond what is expected from a letting/estate agent. They were superb. I cannot thank them enough. Once the issues were sorted they very promptly found me a buyer for my property who was an investor who took on my current tenant. The business owner has good connections with potential investors and surveyors. I have now completed my sale successfully. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a more personal service. This is particularly important if you are a remote landlord or seller.
