Outstanding company
Alison, Allan, Jade and Hannah have been absolutely fantastic from dealing with my mortgage application, advertising my house which had 44 viewings in 1 week which sold in that week, to all the legal work in selling and purchasing. My house purchase was no easy situation and even now I have moved in, Jade and Hannah are still assisting me with issues incurred. Why use separate organisations when Aberdein Considine do it all for you and their costings are very good too. Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to use them and wouldn't consider anyone else.

Great Team - Great Service
We are delighted we chose Aberdein Considine's Byres Road team to sell our property in Glasgow. Responsive, attentive and professional throughout they provided a stellar service on both marketing and legal sides of the sale. Special thanks to Angela, Linda and Gavin for all their help and wise counsel.

Absolutely terrible and disgusting
Absolutely terrible and disgusting. Tried to charge my parter £177 to pick up some leaves from a garden that's not even really a garden just like two flower beds!! Then another £147 to clean the 1 bedroom flat at which I will point out wasn't cleaned before she moved in, their reason being covid. Avoid this company like the plague, you's aren't going to rip off my partner and get away with it. The flat didn't even have secure windows, they we're unable to shut and even with that their was a damp problem!

Absolutely the worst conveyancing…
Absolutely the worst conveyancing service I’ve ever dealt with. Ever. I’d give negative stars if possible. They are the solicitor on the other side of a transfer of title and my onward purchase is now going to be 2 weeks delayed because they’ve lied about not receiving paperwork, not requested redemption statement despite knowing well in advance the planned date for settlement, not planned suitable alternative cover for a solicitors annual leave which has taken 4 days to resolve. Completely disorganised and they’ve made a really stressful separation significantly more stressful and much more costly as I had to arrange alternative accommodation for 2 weeks.I cannot stress how completely awful this company is.As a previous mortgage broker, my clients ALWAYS had issues when AC were their conveyancers for remortgages, and I can’t believe that now, despite not choosing them myself, they are still managing to screw me over.

An utter disgrace of a so called…
An utter disgrace of a so called ‘professional services’ company. They deserve to be stripped of any Law Society of Scotland accreditation.Arrogant, rude, obnoxious and lacking any level of basic customer service, this mob think they’re above the client. Well, it’s the clients that pay your wages, no matter how long you studied at University! Service, wake up and realise you’re not above it, you are here to serve your clients. Basic professionalism, reply to emails, admit when you’ve dropped the ball or not turned up for a meeting. Utterly disgraceful, if it was your business you’d be bankrupt.Do yourself a favour, go elsewhere especially in Glasgow.

5 star service from start to finish.
5 star service from start to finish.I used both the estate agency and legal team for the sale of my sister’s flat, had a caring, professional experience, they made a difficult process very easy and hassle free.Susan and Helen from the estate agency were SO helpful, listened to what I said, unlike other estate agents. Jade and Zoe from the legal team kept me informed and were also SO helpful. I would recommend them 100%. I can’t speak highly enough of them and their service.Thank you ALL!

Avoid their soliciting at all costs
Avoid their soliciting at all costs. I received it free with the re-mortgage and wished I paid the premium for another as I was put onto a standard rate 3 months in as it took them so long. Took 6 months to re-mortgage and it was only because I was phoning almost every day by the end to get it over the line. Felt like I was doing their job for them. It wouldn't have gotten done otherwise. The sheer incompetence, poor processes and just utter lack of communication run throughout this company and must come from the top down. The staff are lovely enough but nothing seems to get done there or takes weeks to do simple things. It's not worth your time, money or energy.

Brilliant team.
We had first class service from start to finish with the whole team in Aberdein Considine. We viewed a property with them we wanted but had to sell ours within 12 days as the property we wanted had gone to a closing date. They had our property marketed and viewers lined up within a week and sold in the next week. Then our offer was accepted on the new house with an entry date of only 6 weeks ahead! They again pulled out all stops and had the paperwork completed in 5 weeks. Thankyou Aberdein Considine for such a caring, professional attitude at every turn.

Bad experience with them.
Horrible experience. ON MY DAY ONE, the charged me for the repair of a faulty and old door lock. I was locked out of my room and everything I had was in there. I even had to ask people on the streets in the COLD to use their phones to call them and they said it wasn’t an EMERGENCY!!! I couldn’t even buy food or water for hours!!! They weren’t even planning to bring the locksmith that day if not that I pushed!!! Maybe because I’m not Scottish I was treated HORRIBLY!!!

Look for another solicitor
I had an absolutely terrible experience with them- in June I requested my partners name to be removed from the property. We are in February 2023 and it still ongoing. I have called them dozens of times and have emailed them weekly… they are quick to ask you to pay however the services are extremely slow and customer service not good. I have another pending matter with them, I am waiting for this to be resolved however just the thought of having to chase them for this other thing makes me want to drop it!!! It really isn’t good enough. Truly suggest you go to another solicitor if you can. I know I will….

Marketing lacklustre but solicitors & general communication great!
Initial communication during our 'Marketing' period (Viewings and Feedback) was a little lacklustre and didn't feel they were doing everything to sell our property but once we got an offer, the communication, explanation of process and back/forth with our purchaser's solicitor was has been excellent. Great communication on the day of moving also to ensure we all got moved on time!

Anthony Quin and his paralegal…
Anthony Quin and his paralegal assistant Fiona provide a first class service, and given that moving home is an extremely stressful experience at the best of times, it is so reassuring to know that your solicitor and his team are so professional and competent.Great work at what I consider to be an extremely fair price.Would not even look at an alternative.

As a first time buyer, AC made everything so easy for me, particularly Jade! No question was un-answered and I really felt like the team took their time to educate me!

It’s always been my practice or…
It’s always been my practice or preference to work with local, owner-managed businesses. So naturally, we looked for a company with the skills and experience in property rental who had that local knowledge, property and lettings expertise and commitment to excellent service. We are delighted that our experience of working with Aberdein Considine has evidenced these benefits. Each person in the team has gone above and beyond, is highly professional and delivers excellent customer services to landlords.

Terrible and unprofessional
Barclays used Ra Direct, a subsidiary of AC, as conveyancing solicitors for a remortgage of my property. After a letter from them in early October, I responded with all the required documents within 2 days. After this point I hear absolutely nothing, and each time I followed up I was given different information. Firstly I was told they were waiting to receive a redemption statement from my previous provider before completing. When I called a week later for an update, I was told that they were still to request the redemption statement but would now escalate! After all of this, a completion date was stated for 1st of December, with a number of documents sent to us late on that date. I followed up several days later to chase funds that I require for my house purchase and was told "Barclays didn't have sufficient notice to complete, so this has been rescheduled for the 9th". I now have zero faith that this will happen, and my house purchase is being held up by these delays. I'm also having to now pay standard variable rates on my previous mortgage which have increased my payments by 50%! I'll be contacting Barclays to raise a formal complaint: apparently a number of banks have already taken AC off their preferred suppliers list.

Karen at the Dyce Branch
Karen, the office manager, impressed us with her knowledge and enthusiasm within minutes of her initial visit. She new the area, the street and had even sold the very same property in the past. The all inclusive package was perfect for our needs with being absent. All of the sales staff that we had contact with, albeit for a short period of time due to the house selling in under two weeks, we’re very approachable and professional. The legal team were equally efficient and professional and made the sale, seamless and stress free. After 8 sales/purchases, we know when we are dealing with professionals and would highly recommend Aberdein Considine Dyce branch.

Simply The Best!
As always, huge thanks especially to John Sherwood, Jade and also the rest of the Lettings team for the superb service. 20 years as a landlord using some good and not so good agents; none of which come even Close to Aberdein Considine. Simply the best on every level. No need to worry as I know they have everything covered, they have my back! That peace of mind is invaluable!! FIRST CLASS from start to finish!!!

Disappointed by lack of urgency
The property management team have generally been good over the last 3 years or so since we have rented our property and speedily responded to any issues, albeit we haven't had to have many dealings with them. In recent weeks, I've had to report a few issues (call it bad luck) and I have to say I'm really disappointed at the lack of urgency in resolving these. After 9 days of hearing nothing, I had to chase up each issue individually and was told contractors had been assigned and would be in contact. A further 3 days have passed and I have yet to hear anything. I am particularly dismayed that one of the issues is a broken radiator in my 1 year old son's room and the fact that I raised concerns about him not being able to shift a cold as a result. As a landlord myself, I find the response times unacceptable, nevermind the fact that I still don't even have a date booked for the issues raised to be resolved. A bitter end to what has otherwise been an enjoyable tenancy.
